ARIE: 月咏 Launches May 13 With Apocalypse Puzzles and 27 Original Tracks

PhantomWorks’ 3D adventure game ARIE: Moonchant will launch on Steam and Epic Games Store on May 13, 2026 (2026年5月13日). The base game is priced at 68 yuan, the soundtrack DLC at 29 yuan, and the bundle will be sold with a 10% discount. The game supports both Windows and mac versions.

The most appealing part is the “flute-harp” concept. A post-apocalyptic world where the moon has fallen is already a strong premise, and using an instrument to interact with ancient ruins and solve puzzles gives it a clearer identity. That idea also brings to mind the note resonance in Journey. For Chinese players, the localization support is fairly friendly: ARIE: Moonchant offers interfaces in Simplified Chinese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese, with Chinese and Japanese voice acting included.

The soundtrack is handled by KUSHIH studio, led by Triodust, and includes 27 tracks. For a game built around music-based puzzle solving, the quality of the score directly sets the ceiling for the experience. Fortunately, both Steam and Epic Games Store currently offer a free demo, which lets players try the first chapter before deciding whether the feel of the game works for them.

Another interesting point is that PhantomWorks previously worked on the OPUS series, which earned a solid reputation for narrative and emotional expression. This time, ARIE: Moonchant moves into a puzzle-focused direction, so it is a shift in approach. At 68 yuan, the price sits in the middle-to-upper range for an indie game. If the music and level design can support that price, it is still worth keeping an eye on. The bundle’s 10% discount also makes sense for players who already want to collect the soundtrack.
