Bunny Garden 2 Hits PS5 With 8 Heroines, Launching Now
Destiny Reboot: Heartbeat's Choice Hits PS5 for HK$78, Following October 22 Steam Launch
Gamersky reports that Destiny Reboot: Heartbeat's Choice has shipped on PS5 for HK$78, following the Steam release on October 22, 2025. The yakuza-themed, first-person live-action romance from Terraflame Entertainment is billed as the first yakuza-themed first-person immersive interactive movie game—a label that mostly tells you which crowd the studio wants.
The setup is built from familiar parts: you play an amnesiac drifting through the streets of Tokyo, caught between the yakuza and the police, while eight heroines with distinct looks and personalities pull the story in different directions. The script runs through branching paths and funnels into roughly a dozen endings, which are linked by interlocking easter eggs. Terraflame backs the "first" claim with scale: the game contains more than seven hours of footage, shot at real Tokyo landmarks and performed by local influencer actresses and veteran actors.
It is not a passive movie, at least on paper. Beyond branching dialogue, the studio added QTE action sequences and evidence-search segments, so players spend as much time timing button prompts and hunting clues as they do choosing lines. The added friction may deepen immersion for some and test the reflexes of others, but in a group setting it also gives the people without the controller something to weigh in on.

That group dynamic is where the game makes its best case. Interactive movies are usually a solo couch experience, but the branching here is dramatic enough to turn play into a committee vote. The studio's tagline, "you are not watching the story, you are telling your own story," maps neatly onto a room of players treating every choice as a ballot. With eight heroines on the table, a hung jury is almost guaranteed, and the game seems happy to let that indecision run wild.

At HK$78 on PS5, it costs less than most new indie releases. The Steam version has been available since October 22, so console owners are no longer stuck waiting. It is cheap enough to buy for a laugh with roommates and low-risk enough for anyone who wants a first-person romance without committing to a full-priced visual novel.

The live-action interactive space is crowded enough now that novelty alone is not enough. Packing romance, action, and mystery into a first-person frame gives Terraflame a lane that bigger, safer releases are not using. The "first" label is a marketing flourish, but it does point to a real gap in the market: no one else is blending yakuza crime drama with first-person romance at this price. The pieces are in place; the question is whether the branches are meaningful enough to survive a second playthrough. If it finds an audience beyond launch week, it could settle in as a go-to shared-screen curio for the rest of the year.
