Don't get me wrong, the remake is wonderful in many ways: - The animations are lovely and the other characters and enemies are detailed, colourful and fun. - Everything looks amazing, the team who rebuilt the game worlds and models were very thorough and creative. - Gameplay is almost identical to how it was before except smoother. The only reason I won't recommend it at the moment is because the autosave feature is glitchy and inconsistent where if you lose connection or play offline your progress will be either undetected or completely lost. I myself went from 17% completion this morning down to the 4% from last night. There's no excuse for this, really, the save feature is vital to enjoyment. Once fixed, fully recommended. Until then, this otherwise wonderful port can't be trusted to perform. Refunded.Show moreShow less

Game currently has framerate-tied physics bugs. All animations break above 120fps. Some break above 60 and some even above 30. The latter proves that the game was never tested properly The 30fps instance is in the level "alpine ridge". There is a gate that a druid is supposed to manipulate open and closed for you. if your fps exceeds 30, the gate breaks preventing progress. Should be fixable with a patch, but with no bug reporting sub forum and activision as the publisher, I'm not holding my breath. Will amend review if its patched. edit: a partial workaround has been found for the alpine ridge issue. you must set the in-game fps limiter to "unlimited" then either enable vsync if you have a 60hz monitor (will lock fps to 60) or inject a cap via rtss or nvidia inspector. issue seems to be with the ingame framerate limiter. if its set to 60, the physics in that level break. no known workarounds for the issues at high framerates though. edit 2: more issues have come to light in recent days: lighting is broken at high framerates. enemy animations are broken above 30fps (check the cannon shooters in the peacemaker's hub). jumps are more difficult at high framerates (tree tops dragon much harder). supercharge also affected. people with oculus headsets are finding the game is launching steamvr alongside itself, and sending all audio to the headset as opposed to the default audio device, forcing yet more workarounds to be necessary. shadows also produce banding and weird stripe effects on the highest setting, so yet another pc enhancement is broken. edit 3: almost a week on and no activity on steamdb (site is useful for checking if games have been getting modified) and the last recorded beta test was 4 months ago. Think its safe to say, this game will not be seeing any support.Show moreShow less
The game that taught me how to dream.Show moreShow less
The game will not hold your saves in offline mode. Alpine Ridge is literally unplayable at >30 fps because of game breaking bugs. At 144fps Spyro slides around like he's on ice whenever he comes to a standstill. I know it's basically industry standard for games to be incomplete at launch but this is a year delayed PC port of a remake. Are we supposed to be grateful that the port has modern framerates and removable motion blur?Show moreShow less
First Crash Bandicoot and now Spyro the Dragon, can this get any better ? If you played the heck out of the old Playstation One titles you are going to love this! I mean its just 40 Bucks for three beautiful remastered Classics. Just lean back and enjoy the ride through some sweet nostalgia in smooth uncapped fps. 10 out of 10 burning sheep!Show moreShow less
Currently the game is really buggy if you play at 60fps. There are multiple areas especially in alpine ridge that are completely broken if you don't play at 30fps. Fix this ASAP activision. You are also required to play online if you want to save your game. Why the ♥♥♥♥ activision? The game is great, but the port is clearly not finished.Show moreShow less
If you're someone who wants a deep story, challenging gameplay and complex mechanics, this series isn't for you. If you're someone who just wants to sit back, relax, collect a bunch of colorful gems and enjoy the magical atmosphere these games provide, this series is definitely for you!Show moreShow less
This remake is overflowing with detail, but unfortunately the game is plagued by technical issues stemming from a lazy port. FoV is locked and is way too low by default for my screen. There are many bugs at high frame rates (above 50) that can make the game unplayable. In my case, setting the game to unlimited in the menu and adding an FPS limit of 120 on the Nvidia control panel seemed to fix the sliding and the softlock on Alpine Ridge, but results may vary. It's also failing to keep my cursor in my main monitor, forcing me to disable my second monitor if I want to play. And for some reason there's a sensitivity mismatch between vertical and horizontal mouse movement for the camera. The only "fix" is through config files, but doing so merely shifts the problem to flying and swimming controls instead. Another weird thing to note is that the game asks for a firewall exception which it doesn't need and causes a Steam process to access your microphone whenever it's running. There's a problem with loading times in the first game too, making them much slower than they need to be. You can find some fixes and workarounds on PCGaminiki, but you shouldn't need to do all this ♥♥♥♥ just to play a game properly. It's been years since release and these glaring issues are still there, so the game is pretty abandoned by the publisher. https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Spyro_Reignited_TrilogyShow moreShow less
