Performance is really bad, lots of flickering and stuttering when changing direction or rotating the camera. I noticed also that the game tends to run worse the more time its on. After a few hours it runs really bad. Visually the game is not bad, looks decent in general except some of the cothing models that are more or less the same ♥♥♥♥ different colours/textures. After more than 100 hours, more than half on auto, i maxed tier2, managed to start the first town liberation, and its freaking hard. You have to kill 6 tough brigands, 3 of them at least have bows. I attacked with 12 guys and 9 died, imagine how tough they are that it takes about 20 seconds of being beaten by 4-5 ppl at the same time, even from the back, to die, each one of them..... Now i have to build a belltower, and wait for a raid coming from the south main enemy base to retake the village. I have 18 settlers, the max i could muster before liberating a city since all the quests i have now require materials that need a specific professional that only can be hired after liberating a town. My belltower is just about to start the building phase, and im trying to have enough food for my small army, because the major problem in thjis game is the short duration of the food items and their effects too. The strap special currency (used for advanced tools and research) can be produced with 1 wood and 1 bronze ingot after building a tier 2 toolmaker, but you will have to mine a ton of ores and keep two tier 1 furnaces going to keep making bronze ingots to make more and more straps. Almost any tool requires some sort of ingot and some sort of hides. Artisan NPCs scattered around the map sell 1 strap every day, in case you are short and have money. The tier 2 hunting camp allows the workers to hunt in 500m radius boars, crows, wolves and deers, but the frequency of getting a boar is like 1 every month, and the deers will be not so hard but also not abundant, and wolves can also be hunted but they can become a problem because they tend to spawn in groups and can kill your hunters, or even you. If you need boar tusks you need to get 2 followers with shield and go hunt them on the east side. They spawn more at night. The workers are too slow, they need to work faster and specially walk faster. They barely do 2-3 tasks per day. Food items last too short and the effects are also too short. The main freaking problem in this game with making an army is the food, the workers are hungry most of the time, and cant be recruited while hungry. There is a problem with workers transporting stuff from resources camps to the main warehouses, they sometimes basically dont do it and you have to go and empty the camps manually The vegetables (turnips, beetroot, potatos, etc...) you can grow tend to leave too few seeds to make it sustainable and you eventually end up with a small pack of seeds even starting with two or 3 fulll farms, the seed yield is not ok and every year you will have a little less and less until you have seeds for 2 patches only, not even half a farm. The only crops that seem to sustain themselves are the spice weeds, hemp, wheat and flax, that always leave a decent amount for next year. buying seeds every year is not precisely cheap, making money is hard and you cant spend 200-300 coins every year on freaking seeds. I also noticed my workers with an equipped shield in the back slot tend to lose it eventuallly. I know for some works they replace it with a hoe or a 2h axe for example, but they should get the shield back after finishing the task and several of them lost the shield several times in a row. Every battle i have to plan needs me to spend lots of time making food during the previous 1-2 days and also i need to get 2-3 shields on me to re-equip the guys that should be using one and lost it randomly for no reason. The workers tend to get stuck in random places, specially gathering craps. Delivery speed and walking speed have to be incresed in general for the workers. Currently going to an auxiliary camp at 600m and getting back consumes the most part of a day, for a bunch of items. Even with the extra bag slot they can carry very few items, and very slow. Game needs a stealth mechanics, specially for hunting. The base jogging speed should be increased by 10% and the sprint too. While not in combat the stamina should not go down, it makes running around much annoying specially when you dont have good food with you. Combat is a mess, its like a drunk fight in a bar. Your guys will basically surround 1 of the enemies until its dead and then do the same to another one. Enemies behave the same but usually they are fewer than your team so not so much ganking, the problem is they basically can 2-3 shot anyone in your team that is not fully fed and well geared. One little trick to help is to be upfront blocking actively while your friends hit the guy from all directions, the enemies usually have preference for attacking you, same for animals. If there are archers, run for them first always, they can also kill anyone with 2-3 arrows. Food really really needs some adjustments, the food items should last a lot longer, specially during the winter time. Also the effects should be much longer so you dont need to spend half the time feeding your raiding party, its retarded how much food they need, and you cannot recruit hungry workers, so its a pain in the ass. This is by far the most annoying mechanic in the game. The winter time is horrible and its basically a wait and skip the nights time, you cant do almost nothing useful except some crafting, cooking or smelting, if you have resources gathered, because during winter most things dont work, no water from well, no berries, no mushrooms, etc.... Reading manuals is extremely slow. Takes like half a day or more to read a 500xp manual. Some high tier weapons have damage numbers that make no sense compared to lower tier and cheaper ones, for example battleaxe. Without liberating the town first the best weapon you can make is a basic warhammer, or a enhaced club in case your worker cant use the warhammer. Maces have slightly better damage but the cost is prohibitive so i only have 2. The dagger has crappy damage, and still havent tried the seax, still in research. Companions dont teleport with you when you use fast travel. If the devs dont fix this, the game is basically a no go after the first 3 towns in the north. Unless the devs plan to add a food wagon or smething, whith this mechanics its basically a pile of crap and teleport poles are only useful for completing fetch quests. Too many fetch quests. Fetch quests suck. Regarding to armors, the mid tier ones are too similar in stats and resources required to make them that you could easy skip one or 2 of the research tiers, beacuse they are crappy 1-2 points increase in armor. I managed to sneak around the full map and plant a teleport pole on every village, too bad the teleports dont work for companions and it takes about 20 minutes to jog from the north base to the towns in the southern parts. They really need to add companions to the teleport, asap. The game needs lots of patching and tuning to be ready, specially the food mechanics and the teleports. ***************************** So i "liberated" the first town to find out i was being attacked during winter with no food anywhere by a 7 ppl party that magically can sprint 2 times faster than me, went past my workers with just 1 trying to hit them, trying only, he didnt land a hit and then fled, and they ran past everyone towards the town srpinting about 20km/h and magically recaptured it in 10 seconds just by standing in the middle. They recaptured it with ZERO villager intervention after the elder told me we need to make a freaking milita. So i need to incite a rebellion and builld a freaking tower and defeat two small armies better equipped than any of my dudes....The game is a pile of crap.
Si no tienes buen equipo, no puedes luchar.
