PC Gaming Show has officially confirmed that Frankie Ward, Mica Burton, Sean “Day[9]” Plott, and newcomer Elz will host its June 2026 edition. The show goes live on June 7, 2026, streams simultaneously on Twitch, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Steam, and reaches China Standard Time at 3:00 a.m. on June 8.
What stands out immediately is that the Pre-show is being treated as a real part of the event, not just filler. Frankie Ward and Elz will host the warm-up segment, and one of the confirmed guests is Gareth Damian Martin, creator of Citizen Sleeper 1 and Citizen Sleeper 2. For viewers who follow indies closely, that gives the front end of the show a curated feel rather than a generic countdown.

The host lineup itself is also unusually solid. Sean “Day[9]” Plott, Mica Burton, and Frankie Ward are all returning, while Elz joins as the new face. Officially, the show will feature deep dives, trailers, and plenty of global first reveals. That mix matters for a PC showcase, because the format usually lives or dies on pacing; too much dead air, and even a strong slate starts to feel like an endless storefront scroll.
The bigger draw, though, is the number of games. PC Gaming Show says this year’s event will spotlight more than 50 PC games, with confirmed participating publishers and studios including Devolver Digital, Creative Assembly, and Skystone Games. That lineup has a useful contrast: one side leans heavily into indie personality, while the other brings more traditional heavyweight presence. If the ordering is right, it could make for a sharp, varied showcase. If not, it risks becoming a blur of one trailer after another.
The parts worth watching closest are the global first reveals and the exclusive announcements. On PC, the most memorable projects are often not the biggest-budget ones, but the smaller games that show up with one smart mechanic or a clean new idea. Developer interviews matter too, especially when someone like Gareth Damian Martin is on stage; a few direct comments can explain why a game looks and feels the way it does much better than a trailer can.
There is, however, a practical downside for local viewers. The China Standard Time premiere lands at 3:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, with a rerun scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026. If you want the first-look reveals as they happen, you will need to stay up. If you mainly want to sort the genuinely interesting games from the rest, the evening replay is the smarter and more comfortable option.
Placed within the summer event season, PC Gaming Show is increasingly acting as a filter for creative ideas. It does not always have the biggest names, but it often surfaces something clever from between the larger showcases. For players with a Steam backlog full of smaller experiments, that is usually the real appeal: not budget, but the chance that one of those more than 50 games will arrive with a genuinely new idea.
