No GTA6 Preorder Yet? PS App Is Already Pushing Ads
According to overseas GTA news account GTA 6 Updates, Sony's PlayStation mobile app has begun serving targeted pre-order ads for GTA6 to players who have not yet placed an order. The ad includes a "Pre-order Now" button, making the PS App a direct path from ad impression to purchase page even though the game is still a way off.

In practice, the pitch is straightforward. Players browsing the PS App can now run into a GTA6 pre-order banner on the front page, with the purchase button close at hand. It is quick, targeted, and built for minimal friction.
The important detail is that this is not being shown to everyone. The ad is reportedly shown only to players who have not pre-ordered GTA6 yet. The attached "Pre-order Now" button makes the intent hard to miss: Sony is using the PlayStation client to reach existing console users through more precisely targeted ads inside its own PlayStation ecosystem.
As a marketing move, it is hard to argue with the logic. The official launch is still a while away, and getting in front of players early keeps the game visible. It also applies a small but obvious kind of pressure: even if you were not planning to buy yet, the prompt makes waiting feel slightly harder to justify.
Screenshots from players have already been circulating online. Some are joking that Sony is going door to door for pre-order money. Others are more annoyed, arguing that the game is already being pushed too aggressively before release. Both reactions make sense. The more accurately an ad finds its audience, the easier it is for that audience to read it as a payment reminder.

If you already know you are in for GTA6, locking in a copy now is not an unreasonable choice. For more casual players, though, waiting for post-launch gameplay footage and word of mouth still seems like the safer call. Keeping the money in your pocket until the game is actually here is still the simpler option.
