The smartest thing about this game is that it knows what it wants to do and what it doesn't want to do. It doesn't try to tell a grand story, doesn't try to cram in a hundred hours of content, doesn't try to show off with technical wizardry—it just wants you to be an annoying goose, and it does that one thing to perfection.

A two-hour playthrough does feel thin in 2024, but those two hours are denser than twenty hours in many open-world games. Every prank is carefully designed, every NPC reaction is perfectly timed, every scene wastes no space. You won't think "there should be more content here," you'll just think "I want to play this again."

Is it worth two hours? If you want a game you can play for a month, then no. But if you just want to laugh for two hours on a weekend afternoon and experience the joy of being a little villain, this might be the purest game you play all year. It won't change how you think about games, but it will make you remember that waddling white goose and its triumphant honk when you press X.
