Four Years in the Making! Super Saiyan 4 Goku Finally Returns in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Thinking back to those days, I stayed up several nights in front of my computer just to beat Chinese Paladin. The attachment to those characters was like being unable to part with old friends from the Jianghu. Nowadays, domestic Wuxia games are still finding their footing, while our neighbors have already brewed nostalgia into fine aged wine. Four years without a new character; this wait feels like cultivating a unique martial art.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Super Saiyan 4 Goku will officially launch next week. This news is like a legendary hero rumored in the Jianghu for ages finally agreeing to step out. On Wednesday, April 22nd, this long-awaited martial arts tournament will begin. The character will be released via a DLC pack, including exclusive content and twelve color variations.

Speaking of the game itself, the combat feel remains at a high standard. In this fast-food era, willing to invest effort into old works is truly a testament to integrity. Unlike some domestic online games that dare to sell nostalgia and scam money just by reskinning. After all these years, it's still the same old problem, making players feel disappointed by the lack of ambition. But calming down to look, the secret to longevity lies in respect rather than simple consumption. How many domestic blockbusters were one-hit wonders, simply because they forgot the original intention behind their journey.

Looking at that red fur, the flavor of Chinese Paladin from back in the day floods back. If domestic games could treat old works this way, why worry about players not sticking around? We don't expect every step to be perfect, just don't treat players like leeks to be harvested. Hope that someday in the future, domestic Wuxia can also have this kind of confidence. Let those characters who accompanied our youth come alive on screen once more.
