Hitman: World of Assassination has now fully rolled out its Season of the Wizard. The update adds a new target, The Wizard, portrayed by U.S. rapper Wiz Khalifa, whose best-known track mentioned in the original coverage is "See You Again." It also adds several high-difficulty Elusive Targets, including The Drop and The Reflection, alongside Twitch Drops.

With a Hitman season like this, the real question is whether the new content justifies another run through familiar maps. If you are new, though, expectations should stay realistic. This is not a major expansion in disguise. It plays more like a strong weekend content drop for regular players. If you already enjoy stealth, route memorization, and hunting for accident kills, this season is an easy recommendation. If your patience for Hitman was only moderate to begin with, one celebrity target probably will not be enough to keep you around.

There is also a practical upside in the Twitch Drops campaign. Watching streams to unlock exclusive in-game rewards lowers the barrier even further, which makes this part especially convenient for players who prefer to collect extras passively. More importantly, the season is not relying on promo art alone. With community contracts and fresh challenges included, it avoids feeling like a flashy event that looks bigger in promo art than it does in practice.

Taken together, Season of the Wizard feels more like an update for returning players than a major push for newcomers. Its strengths are clear: concentrated content, low friction, and easy extra rewards through streaming. Its limitation is just as clear: the new material still depends on existing maps and the established mission framework. If you are already playing Hitman: World of Assassination, this is an easy weekend recommendation. If you have not started yet, it is better read as a positive signal than a decisive reason to jump in.
