I went into this game, only having seen the steam reviews. I accepted something to just quickly read through and enjoy, but what I got was a poorly paced mess. I'm not new to the slice of life genre, having played Clannad and Rewrite, but this game is only about 10 hours long (depending on how fast you read) and the story doesn't start until about 6 hours in. The way it starts is with a plot twist designed to "subvert your expectations" what it does is make you feel like all the time you spent with these characters was wasted. 8/10 This isn't the first game to try to depict a love affair between a human and a robot. The famous anime PLASTIC MEMORIES, which is also published by ANIPLEX, is inextricably linked and similar to this game on many levels. As a short visual novel game, the game is destined to be unable to avoid the fatal flaw of short stories: the plot progresses too fast or some characters are not created enough. But anyway, one flaw cannot obscure the splendor of the jade, this game is also very impressive. The game's discussion and description of the love story between robots and humans are relatively deep, and the game's worldview is also more interesting, but some parts still cannot make players feel enough interest. The voice actor of ATRI is outstanding, her energetic performances bring the characters to life to a great extent. The music of the game is immersive, and the scenes and illustration are also pleasing to the eye. If you are interested in such a theme, then this game is definitely worth a try.Show moreShow less

Ultimately, Atri is the least interesting character in a game named after and focused on her. The entire plot depends on the player growing attached to the robot girl, but I don't think they got there. The MC and the other central characters fare a little better, but it was very hard to get emotionally invested in any of them. The world itself is the best character, as we see a future where the seas have risen and overtaken much of human civilization. The artwork truly does the setting justice, and is the one aspect of Atri that I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm fighting to resist quoting Lord of the Rings here, but the story here is best described as very thin, stretched over too long a run time. I would be more likely to recommend the game if it had been written as a three hour short. Your mileage may vary but I've been playing off and on since July 4th weekend. It's now August 15th and I simply can't find it in me to get all the way through the story without skipping.Show moreShow less

Atri -My Cuck Moments- It has become apparent to me that everyone who reviewed this VN positively has never played another VN besides this one. This VN is made for the loneliest people on the planet. They are blinded by semi-decent looking cg's and relaxing but ultimately repetitive music and as such forgive a very poorly written plot, with a very unlikable main character. The endings are forced, there being no reason for the bad ending to exist. It feels like you had both not enough and too much time to spend with the paper-thin characters. Forget the fact that it takes HOURS for anything remotely interesting to happen. Forget about the 1000 times they reuse the cg's. But the atrocious conclusion to this mess is perhaps the most insulting slap on the face. The title of this review is accurate. *SPOILER ALERT* both love interests get cucked somehow. Nothing feels earned, and nothing got my cold dead soul to warm up. However I must thank this game for the following: now I know better than playing a VN that just has good scores on Steam.Show moreShow less

I went into this game with mixed feelings due to IMHHW's writer, Yet it has honestly been a absolute blast, -The soundtrack is incredible coming from the amazing Matsumoto Fuminori known for his Sakura no uta and Grisaia series Soundtracks -Character design and styling has a unique visual look which makes them stand out from each other giving a brilliant look overall -And The voice acting is done incredibly well!, Atri's noises throughout the visual novel are incredibly heartwarming at all times! (BECAUSE SHE'S TOO DAMN ADORABLE) The story is really a mixed bag at my current progress since it's Enjoyable thanks to the characters but it's plot almost 8 hours in is kinda uhh yeah very unnoticeable but that doesn't stop people from enjoying it, myself included. i think each characters writing is very well-done, each built up with different personalities yet perfected to a point where you will learn to love them all throughout your play time. Would i recommend this, As an AA (All ages visual novel) Yes! the price for it is very fair for what the Visual novel offers Edit: 12 hours in and i finally finished the visual novel, and the story improved greatly in the final moments, such a bittersweet story definitely a good ending!Show moreShow less

CG数量不多质量较高, 人物的动作也不能算作丰富, 但是背景很漂亮, 通过微缩平移, 局部重绘的方法得到的演出效果非常好. 有几张CG和立绘在涉及到人类肢体的地方,我觉得有一点违和. 声优的演绎很出色, 没什么可挑剔的. 正面人物设定都是挺讨喜的, 塑造的也不错. 情节上较为平缓. 日常表现的很好, 温馨的, 喜悦的, 悲伤的情景自己都能带入进去. 逻辑上存在一些可以忽略的前后不一致的地方. 音乐也是很棒的. 系统支持同时显示两种语言, 这一点很让我满意. 游戏时间不算长, 但是我玩的过程中除了跳过重复文本的时间, 其它时间都是很享受的在阅读. 如果没有真结局, 我是一定会推荐的. 但是, 因为真结局的存在, 我不能推荐本作. 或者说我不推荐看真结局.Show moreShow less
