"The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Application or any Service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to You." This is why we read the Terms of Service. Not only does the game lack basic functionalities such as proper keybinding and proper matchmaking, but the game can also be discontinued for any reason, and you don't get refunded for it. This is a game with offline functionality, and they're allowed to get rid of it for any reason at all? Even worse: "Updates may modify or delete certain features and/or functionalities of the Application. You agree that the Company has no obligation to (i) provide any Updates, or (ii) continue to provide or enable any particular features and/or functionalities of the Application to You. You further agree that all updates or any other modifications will be (i) deemed to constitute an integral part of the Application, and (ii) subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement." If the game is updated to completely remove what meagre functions we have at this point, there's nothing you can do about it. This game reeks of corporate intervention, and Viacom once again shows why they're such a terrible company. If I am wrong, you are free to tell me otherwise in the comments, but otherwise, peruse with caution. And for those who argue "They would never do that," what consequences are they going to face if they do? You already agreed to these legally binding terms, and they aren't obligated to refund you if they do anything to remove your ability to play the game.Show moreShow less
Legit the most unfinished fighting game I've played since Vanilla Power Rangers Battle For The Grid on Switch 1. Unfinished characters, glitchy training mode, no ranked match, no lobbies, no system configuration settings, and AZULA But the gameplay is sick and I hope they get to see their vision through. They should of put an Early Access tag on it if anythingShow moreShow less
Game of a big 2026 doesn't have any settings in it. You can't change any graphic or movement options and the game wants you to play on arrows bruh. Sorry but this is unacceptable in 2026, you just can't play the game. EDIT: The game also doesn't have ranked mod or spectator feature (which will be added later but still it's like basic mandatory for a fighting game on release why is it not in the base game?) There can only be 2 people in one room as well which kills any opportunity to make a proper online tournament or event. Some combo trials are also broken. Demo bot can't do its own combos. This game should have been in development for another half a year and come in late autumn/december or something like that.Show moreShow less
The Elements Feel Amazing I’ve wanted a proper Avatar fighting game for years, and this is honestly everything I was hoping for. The first thing that stood out to me was how different each character feels. Swapping from an earthbender to a firebender completely changes how you approach a fight, and that makes every match feel fresh instead of everyone playing the same. The visuals are spot on too. It genuinely looks like you're playing an episode of the show, and seeing all the bending effects flying across the screen never gets old. More importantly, the gameplay actually backs it up. It’s easy enough to jump into, but there’s clearly a lot to learn if you want to master it. You can tell this wasn't made just because Avatar is popular. It feels like a game made by people who actually understand why fans love the series. If you've been waiting for an Avatar game that does the franchise justice, this is an easy recommendation. Worth Buying! 🎅Would Appreciate If You Follow My Curator Page🎅 Would mean a lot if you supported me there, would help me create more quality reviews.Show moreShow less
Leaving a bad review out of principle despite liking the gameplay. -features advertised in LAUNCH trailer arent in the game like RANKED mode -Some trials are literally broken and cant be completed, the AI cant even do them in the demo -characters like Nightmare Korra, and Avatar Aang are clearly unfinished, Ozai unpolished etc etc. - not all preorder/deluxe editions bonuses are in the game?? (no Samurai Appa Skin, no voting and no unique HUDS) I feel like this is Paramounts fault forcing the game to release close to the Avatar Aang movie because no one in there right mind could have thought this game was ready to release in this state. needs a few more months in the oven. DO NOT buy yet **edit** devs responded and I'm glad with the response! Will happily switch to a good review once all the promised features are delivered :)Show moreShow less
Game is insanely peak all negative reviews at this time are about button remapping/combo trials issues/ranked mode not being in game. The actual GAMEPLAY is unimaginably goodShow moreShow less
Dropping a negative review for several reasons: - First and foremost, false advertising. The game was promoted as having Ranked Mode and such, which while is a feature I do not care for, still doesn't change the fact that the game was promoted as having it and released without it. - Secondly, voice lines randomly cut off during gameplay, but only in specific modes like combo trials. Which brings me to the next point: the "demo" video sometimes messes up the combos it's trying to demonstrate, which... I don't need to explain why that's bad. - Thirdly... How come we don't so much as have difficulty settings for what little offline content is actually there? This is a very basic thing that even barebones home ports of arcade titles from the 90's had! - Fourth... 3 characters strangely did not have a trailer before launch, Ozai, as well as Avatar State Aang and Korra. Now we know why, it's because they were outright not finished in time, and now the roadmap is advertising their completion as something casual like bug fixes or balance adjustments, even though needing to mention that characters need "additional sprites and animations" post launch is kind of silly. - Fifth - No graphic settings, or key binding on keyboard. Certain button shortcuts don't even work properly. In order to do EX Special Moves, you must press X + A + B simultaneously, which isn't the most intuitive thing to do on a controller in such a fast paced game. The solution would be to assign that button combination to a single button, right? Wrong. If you go and use that shortcut mid combo, it almost always triggers Super Move if you have enough meter for it, even though Super Moves are done with a quarter circle forward motion and the aforementioned button combination. Was this even tested? - I also have to mention that this game is a prety good example of why I never want to pre-order anything again, I can only access the character colours, but not the Appa skin or the ability to vote for the character pass. While I did not buy the deluxe content, others have complained that what they payed for is also missing. The wording on the EULA, although more direct and honest than most, is also deeply concerning, as it asserts that you can just have the game taken away from you whenever the publisher so desires and claiming you do not have the ability to do anything about it, should that happen. Sounds more like we payed that one stingy rich friend in the playground to play with his toys and he'll just take them back in the middle of the play session if he decides you're a meanie head and that he doesn't like you anymore. How nice. The developers' nonchalant attitude about the whole ordeal also does not serve to ease the tensions at all. If anything, it makes this whole situation feel planned in some way. It's clear that the game needed a couple more months of development time before launch. It is ludicrous that the game was deemed acceptable to release in this state, and I can't help but wonder if this was another case of a fighting game getting screwed over by the publisher or if some other manner of incompetency is at play.Show moreShow less
they rushed the game out to tie in with the movie that got leaked, don't blame the devs, they're going to fix everything, game is gasShow moreShow less
love the game but some things will need to be fixed for sure. 1. I pre-ordered the game not just the base game I got the deluxe and I don't have to appa samurai skin kinda pissed about that not gonna lie. 2. no difficulty selector is kinda ass. I may be trash but the cpu are just spamming the grab almost the whole time like really. and 3. needs to be not so bare bones its just seems like it's just not much to start with.Show moreShow less
