NO SPOILERS: I'm generally one to enjoy artsy games, but the story and themes of this one did nothing for me. Reading the reviews, I'm surely in the minority, but the story felt very forced in its pursuit to make me feel sad, and it wasn't effective to me. I felt like I had just watched an average movie student final project, very eager to make me feel things, but not sure why or how. The blinking mechanic was interesting though.Show moreShow less
Hard not to blink when you're crying....................Show moreShow less
It was an ok game. I was really determined to like it, but, for some reason, I didn't quite connect with the story. Sure, it was sad, but it felt to me to just be sad for the sake of sad. Maybe I wasn't convinced by the initial "before it gets sad" phase, or maybe the characters weren't portrayed as particularly complex or relatable. Either way, the use of the blinking mechanic definitely added to the style of the story, but, in the end, it wasn't enough for me to be moved/convinced. That said, while I can't truthfully say I disliked this game, I wouldn't say I recommend it in general.Show moreShow less
Teaches you that life passes by in a blink, even when you don't want it to. God, what a wonderful game.Show moreShow less
No offence to the developers but I just didn't like this game... it also doesn't work very well with people who ware glasses. The reflection of the monitor on my glasses made the game think I'm blinking everytime I move my head.Show moreShow less
I wish I never played this game... because now I can't experience it for the first time ever again. 10/10 wish I could blink back to 2 hours agoShow moreShow less
I can't recommand this game, I have glasses (i can't read on my screen without it) and the technologic behind can't reconize when I'm blinking or not (because of the reflect on thoses), I really tryed to fix my issue but nope, it's impossible for me (Fixing lightning, change my angle and my glasses angle) It's keep getting throught time instantly although i'm not blinking I really want to enjoy this game like it's meant to be and but I just can't. And I'm as frustrated that i'm sad about it :(Show moreShow less

The story seems incredible. The concept is fantastic. And, as it seems with other reviewers, the emotions really get to you. But none of that mattered, because the technology didn't work for me. Despite nearly 10 minutes of adjusting the webcam to match my blinks, it never worked. Once it seemed to work, it would continue to not work 20 seconds into playing. It appears that this is primarily an issue with people who wear glasses. My vision is very poor, so my lenses are extremely thick. This may be the reasoning for the technology issues. For this, I can't really fault anyone but my own poor eyesight. However, these technology issues created an increasingly frustrating experience of skipping past parts of the game in which I didn't blink. Because of these frustrations, I couldn't focus on the game, as I would constantly need to figure out how to blink or stare in the correct manner. I constantly adjusted my posture, my face's angle, and how wide I made my eyes. Absolutely none of it worked in correcting this issue. It's a shame, as this game seems like an incredible game. Even if I could figure out a way to bypass this problem, the first playthrough as already been done, so I cannot experience this game for the first time again. If you do not wear eyeglasses, I think this game is probably a steal. However, if you have extremely poor vision like me and must wear big, thick eyeglasses to see your computer screen, I think you may be better off watching a playthrough from a YouTuber.Show moreShow less
