Let me start off by saying that while I don’t dislike the game, I can’t recommend it, either. It runs well, the art style is lovely, and the core gameplay loop is fun. I like the “busywork” feel, and I appreciate that there isn't a timer looming over everything. That being said, the game is very repetitive. Not just the gameplay itself, but nearly everything surrounding it. The dialogue from the captain and customers almost never changes, the days feel identical, and unlocking new stickers or delivery locations is just more of the same. The later room unlocks seem interesting at first, but they don’t feel like meaningful progression because they don’t actually introduce new gameplay mechanics. I found storage to become frustrating very quickly. From what I've seen, customers only one request one package at a time, but will often drop off two or three, so the clutter builds up rapidly in the back room. This is compounded by the loading area where you “puzzle” packages into place for shipping. The game's placement restrictions can feel arbitrary, making it more annoying than satisfying to solve. Unlocking additional space helps, but it's never quite enough to make you feel like you can get ahead of the next day. If I were to offer some improvements off the top of my head: - Vary the dialogue to make the days feel more unique - Allow customers to drop off AND pick up multiple packages at the same time - Request the captain stop at a specific location for the next outgoing batch of packages - Make the customers give a name, not vaguery I want to stress again it's not a bad game. It just becomes tedious quickly, and the core experience never changes.Show moreShow less
I will give you the positive review for the cozy game. HOWEVER, it is conditional. The game is fun and initially organizing and compartmentalizing things is great. This gradually becomes an issue however as someone mentioned in another review people just don't pick ♥♥♥♥ up. There ends up not being enough space to organize things the way I want. Once you get the restrictions (I.e. cold room, etc) there aren't enough shelves for destinations nor enough places for large boxes. Toward the end of the game EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ package had a mate and I was making designs out of stamps to keep it all organized. So the first couple hours were great, really scratched that OCD organizing itch, the last couple hours I craved death and wanted to throw every package that got dropped off for deliver into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ water. There simply wasnt enough room on the boat and we had WAY to many large packages. Add a decline button for drop offs, or restrict night to pickup only, they can take those 4 package drop offs and shove em. Anyyyway, TLDR: cute game for the first half, wanted to kill myself trying to get the completion for the later half.Show moreShow less
I wish I could vote neutral. Its very cute and relaxed, the setting and graphics are great. I kinda enjoy it? I enjoy sorting and inventory management, I just wish there was more to the game. But in the first 20 minutes you've seen everything this game has to offer. There is no progression, every new room opened work exactly the same. You sort based on what the package needs and if its improperly stored it becomes damaged... Which means nothing. You lose 2 XP points for a damaged package, while you earn several hundred or over a thousand point for just a single day. Which means all those unlocked rooms and sorting stamps are essentially also pointless, there's no real incentive to use them except for fun I guess. The nighttime "magic" is very minimal, and the promised story and "narrative discovered through sorting parcel" is nonexistent. The entire story is a few lines from an NPC at the end of the game. It's not exactly a bad game, but it is pretty shallow in terms of gameplay mechanics and I feel like the store page kinda tries to hype up some aspects of the game in a way that I think borders on being disingenuous. I also wish it had more accessibility options because the game makes me quite motion sick, and that seems to have been true for quite a fair number of people. Beyond an FOV slider there are no real options that help. If you're prone to motion sickness definitely test out the demo before you buy.Show moreShow less
A wholesome game about organization and space management... with cute cats. It took me about 18 hours to finish the story and get all the achievements, and there's an infinite post-game if you so desire, so it's worth the money. I love how you can see the pile of packages slowly shrink and reveal more of the hallway. The progress in chipping away at the pile is perfectly paced. The graphics and music are simple but cute and suitable to the game. I like how you get extra decorative stamps that are completely optional but are there if you want to be creative or fancy. I ended up using them for "lovers packages" to better discern which goes with which, especially if they're residing in different rooms. Now, is it a perfect game? No. There are some issues. The things you want in the game come a little too late, and once you get them, they verge on breaking the game. Example: you'll have lots of incoming mail for residents of the island, and not enough cats per day come to pick them up. Once you get the home delivery pallet, you'll be all "thank goodness!" but after a few in-game days you'll find you have so little mail to be picked up that hitting the bell for "next" will do nothing (indicating it was supposed to be a cat coming to pick up mail, but there's none to be picked up.) Similarly, the repair shop is needed early on in the game when you're accidentally falling in the water or forgetting to check for special circumstances. By the time you get the repair shop, you're so accustomed to the game that you don't need it (also, the penalty for damaged packages is laughably low. I would argue giving the repair shop earlier and increasing the penalty for damage would make for a more fun experience.) Also, don't get me started on "lovers packages." If I just sent out all my packages to a destination, and a "lovers package" comes the next shift for that destination? You have to wait until another package to that place comes in. The game should be able to check whether or not there's a package available to "love" before creating a lovers package. Also, you can only check the love links at night. The game literally has a dark room! Why could I not move the lens there and check the links whenever I want? But I'm nitpicking. Despite those issues, this will really scratch the itch for a cozy game. I'm glad I played it, and who knows? If I have a little time to kill, I might just pull this up again and get mail for more cats. Recommended.Show moreShow less
The beginning of the game is incredibly satisfying, but the progression feels backwards. Every unlock adds new constraints, more destinations, more package types to manage but never gives you new tools, upgrades, or automation to handle the extra complexity. Instead of making you feel more capable or more in control as you progress, the game simply gives you more work. As a result, the further I get, the less fun I'm having.Show moreShow less
The game is very fun with friends, but I would love to see more identity/personality amongst the different cats, and the vague "My letter has a red ribbon on it." with no name what-so-ever is going to result in somekitten getting stabbed. It'd be super neat if customers could also come in to both drop off packages but also pick up one or more packages. My biggest want is to be able to place boxes across MULTIPLE different boxes. Being confined to only being able to set the same(or smaller) box types on top of boxes makes 0 sense. If I have a 2x2 and a 2x3 next to each other, as long as the top half is flat, I should be able to put a box across *both* of those boxes.Show moreShow less
The game starts fun, and it starts cozy but doesn't stay so for long. Everything sorta gets worse and wears on you pretty quickly. Very grindy, very repetitive. What you do at the start is what you will always do, but just more-complicated-without-reward. You get overwhelmed with packages, and there's always too little space to store them properly. The game expects you to be able to find packages by name, random lastname letter, or an assortment of other criteria. Problem is that you can't store the boxes in a way that makes sense to support the requirements, and often there are multiple boxes that meet the requirements, so you waste effort looking for a box that's not the right box even if it meets all the criteria. Then, cold/dark/other rooms are also small, and need you to be able to store by destination and all of the same criteria. Not enough space to store by package destination, fragile, heavy, etc etc etc at the same time. Just becomes a storage mess, and frustrating more than fun. Then they give you the means to repair packages when you make a mistake, but at some point I just stopped caring and gave away broken packages anyway because the effort involved to fix them is disproportionate. The game realistically doesn't give you the tools to play this in a way that stays fun. It just keeps stacking more and more and more, but doesn't give you any tools to be able to support it. There are no real unlocks, and no way to really improve your own life. You just get given 50k random packages from all directions and are just stuck with them. Fun, cute game, but the devs massively let the game down with how little there is to actually play it.Show moreShow less
So I just got the game at 10AM and I got 9 hours on the game... that means I haven't played the game for 2 hours out of the day so far... so clearly I'm loving this. Of course since it just came out there's gonna be glitches I'll address and I got recommendations. Glitches/Bugs: -Multiplayer glitch where they cant see two boxes from a customer, just one. -The sunroom; sometimes you cant go through the doorway because it still registers as locked? What I want; -A currency to upgrade the boat space (size and height) -The choice of which destination to send packages to -Ability to move shelves -Buy/Sell shelves -Ability to customize our cats {My Update 7/10/26} What I'd love to see down the line; -Ability to travel to those different post offices in the towns. Example being I travel to Port Windy and organize the boxes there. But each place has their own special rooms like Port Windy has a wind room and Foggy Mountains has a fog room. Each post office would be decorated differently to their corresponding town, along with different customers. -A house area we can decorate and buy furniture to use extra money for (Not super important)Show moreShow less
If you like the demo, just keep playing the demo. Gets repetitive very easily, the unlocks that you do get don't actually change the experience at all. My biggest annoyance is that you are never able to ship out everything that needs to go out. So you are sick with piles of Outbound packages that just sit there Cozy, maybe. Tedious, definitely.Show moreShow less
