In order to play this game, you must agree to the terms of multiple difference data collecting agencies, including amazon web services. Whether you are an educated gamer or an ignorant noobie, you should not allow these companies to access your personal information. This is not about the game. This is about invasion of privacy. It is abundantly clear that the priorities of Tripwire are not to bring the players a much wanted sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, but to collect, market and sell your personal information.Show moreShow less

EDIT (4/17/2024): Not only do the developers not care if there are hackers in this game, they will ban you for mentioning it. Additionally, they drive their spotlight players in the community to committing suicide. (Not kidding: https://www.reddit.com/r/Chivalry2/comments/1c6nomj/farewell_to_soter_dave/) One such instance was YouTuber Soter Dave (Scooter Dave) who held charity tournaments in Chivalry 2 and trained countless players on the combat system. Many players held him to be a shining example of what the best of this community had to offer. On April 1st, Dave posted a video on his channel (since taken down) that very briefly described how easy it was to hack this game; an attempt to bring attention to Torn Banner on the severity of the hacking situation in this game that so many yearned to enjoy. For this, Dave was dealt a permanent ban by the developers with multiple denials to appeal. Dave hasn't been the only person who has been banned for even bringing up the fact that hackers exist. This past Monday, April 15th 2024, Dave took his own life after being discarded and betrayed by the devs of this game. He dedicated an immense amount of time and effort into fostering a community of fun and competitive gameplay for more to enjoy. A kind and generous soul, all Dave ever wanted for this game was to be the best it could. This tragedy should serve as a reminder of how little Torn Banner thinks of their own player base. From here on, I will be boycotting any game released by Torn Banner and I will be uninstalling this game permanently. RIP Soter Dave. (If anyone at Torn Banner is reading this, please ban me. I will wear it as a badge of honor.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Devs actively do not care if hackers are ruining the experience for everyone. Proof: this guy's entire channel is dedicated to bragging about how he gets away with hacking because he knows the devs. https://www.youtube.com/@mrweenieofficialShow moreShow less

I love this game. It has so much potential. But neglecting devs are pulling it down and ignoring the community like they are some big studio. They made a great game, grabbed the cash and put the game on maintenance mode since their code is a mess to push it further. They act against community projects like polehammer.net, chivstats.xyz or chivalry unchained and hence give no space for passionate players to realise themselves. A great guy Soter Dave loved this game even more. Gave relevant feedback, constructive criticism and praise where it was due. Bought every battlepass just to support the devs and saying that they made a great game. All he wanted was for chiv to be the best version of itself. The game was his life. He made videos, run events, trained people... But he has been perma banned eventually by the devs since banning the guy who points out the game's problems is better solution then even acknowledging the problems. Sadly, this was also apparently a catalyst that worsened Dave's mental health issues to that extent that he took his life a few weeks after when he couldn't get the devs to acknowledge him and his situation and give him hope that the ban isn't permanent. He couldn't create content, do arranged charity stream... He hoped they come to an agreement. They didn't. Rest in peace Dave. I wouldn't advise on buying this game since then U are giving the devs the only thing that they care about... MONEY. And you get updates with reused content, poor quality filler content, no communication and potentially a ban when you say out loud what you see. Preferably get this game when it goes free for limited time in devs' attempt to keep it alive or from cdkeys for no more than 5€. Thank you for listening to my TEDtalk.Show moreShow less
