I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND I FIND THIS GAME VERY GOOD IN HELPING ME TO KEEP MY MIND ACTIVE ESPECIALLY DURING THIS TIME.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO OTHERS.Show moreShow less
we have reached the moment when a simple casual game like coloring pixels became hardcore for only it's true fans, what a time we live in r/place book ruined the fun of this game. Was relaxing, fun with nice music. Previously there were already big or pixelated pictures, but nothing undoable. Then r/place book arrived, 16 pictures, each twice bigger than the previous biggest picture ever. It is soo overhelming, that you will get epilepsy alone by trying to finish these pictures. r/place color pixels in a community way, A LOT of people working on the same thing at the same time. You can't expect users do it all alone. If you like to max out your games, then avoid this. You will suffer because of this DLC. DLCs are also way too common for this. One every 4 weeks. This became extermly overhelming to me, to keep my game up to date and finished. Not because of the price, DLCs are cheap, but if in all honesty, i would pay 2* more if they would be 2* rare, so instead of 4 weeks there would be only one each 8 weeks, but more creative. The quality of the DLCs also gets worse and worse. Now it wont happen tho, i not going to buy more DLCs, as no way i finishing this r/place madness so no point to keep up the perfection, as there are now better coloring games out there with nice pictures. And actually better to color those than color soulless DLC pictures which was released just to keep the 4 weeks tempo.Show moreShow less
As someone with clinical depression, fairly often I have days when I am exhausted for no reason. It may not sound difficult to you, but on those days I'm not even capable of using a keyboard and mouse to play games I love like Dead by Daylight or Overwatch. However, video games are my only hobby (Asperger's) so what am I to do in that situation? Sit and watch videos, my hands left with nothing to distract themselves? This was the predicament I had for a long time. Since then I have found some games that require very little of me and I am thankful for them. Colouring Pixels is one. It is easy to focus on while not requiring anything from me. I can even put a video in a small window and play at the same time, keeping both my mind and body perfectly occupied and distracted. Thank you, Colouring Pixels.Show moreShow less
Main problem is that the game is tough on the eyes, It would be great if for the color that you have selected the corrasponding number tile would turn grey.Show moreShow less
I like coloring the pictures while listening to music, makes me forget about the voices. 저는 음악을 들으면서 그림을 색칠하는 것을 좋아하고, 목소리도 잊어 버림.Show moreShow less
I do recommend this game from a relaxing perspective but as A completionist with all the DLCs that add a load of achievements its more of a pain and you have to spend extra money so that's a no from meShow moreShow less
This game saved my life. I am 27. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide. After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side. Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I didn't beat the game, or play nearly as long as some of you. In fact, I may have only played this game a day or two.. With that being said, after doing so, I had a new found joy and hope for life. I was able to put behind me the pain and suffering that had been cast over me. I was able to experience other peoples joy and happiness. I was able to see the fruits of my "labor". I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ing minutes to this music long enough to realize that I was going to be okay. After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like hell but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so damn sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as. Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends. I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together. Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.Show moreShow less
Way too many DLCs being churned out that are attached to tons of achievements totalling over 1000. At first it was fun to play but once they started pumping out DLCs every month that aren't always of good quality, I got turned off by it. I thought they would focus more on improving the main part of the game, maybe they could add something to help auto fill puzzles that take too long or cause our wrists to strain? Some puzzles are just too big or are of poor quality that end up being really boring to fill in. If there are no signs of any improvements being made then this game will probably end up being uninstalled. Its just not fun anymore only tedious and boring with way too many DLCs. Using achievements as a way to milk money.Show moreShow less
Before I played Coloring Pixels i had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.Show moreShow less
I do enjoy playing this game, especially when watching something but I cannot recommend it. This is because the achievements can’t be completed without owning all the DLC. It doesn’t matter how many hours or money I sink into this game, as long as they keep releasing DLC (and keep adding achievements) I will not be able to complete it. If you've not played this game before, don't - the base game being free makes it easy to be sucked in.Show moreShow less
