Leaving a positive review because idiots keep accusing this game of being AI slop or some variation of that insult. While the game does sometimes give heavy "unity game" vibes, it has extremely creative levels, mechanics and gameplay that means that those issues are barely relevant. I have not played Act 2 yet but Act 1 and the free updates that came out afterwards makes this game worth the price, and I will be buying Biohazard when it comes out. Support smaller studios, and the next time you want to complain about AI, email Sam Altman or the Pentagon about AI weapons killing people and the planet, rather than going after creative projects which don't use them at all.Show moreShow less
I loved this game but wish I had been made aware that the devs chose to use AI generated pictures in the game. I found out too late to get a refund. Overall the game is well made, and I don't think you can justify using AI when you can buy stock photos for the same result. Generative AI is not only stealing assets from artists, it also heavily contributes to pollution by its sheer use of power, both things that i'm not in favour of supporting monetarily.Show moreShow less
A low income janitor that, because of the crappy healthcare system in America, can't afford his daughters hospital bills and has to take a side gig as a crime scene cleaner for a mob boss. The setting might seem intense but it's a chill game. There's no time limit, no enemies, just you and your cleaning supplies. It's a game where you can relax, put on some music while cleaning the crime scenes spotless, all while you IRL room gets messier and messier because no one likes to clean their room. Essentially PowerWash Simulator, crime scene edition.Show moreShow less
I have health issues. I cannot hold down the mouse button for long periods of times. I tried to reset the key-binds, but it wouldn't let me for the left mouse button, so I had to return the game as unplayable.Show moreShow less
Happy to see a simulator game that has a storyline and each level also tells its own story. The level design is quite good that it is fun to explore to figure out those well-hidden secrets. The game is worth the price. Need more levels or DLC plzShow moreShow less
Fun mechanics, but complete tonal dissonance with the narrative as I encounter gruesome suicide scenes only to have my character be in shock one second then make references to Spiderman memes & Tommy Wiseau's The Room the next. A vast majority of this games dialogue is just that - memes & references. I can't tell what kind of vibe the developers were even going for when it's also peppered with such dark moments. Further in the crimes get more over the top but a few of the early missions are just straight up gruesome with their presentation of suicide & murder/suicides involving mental illness that's soon played for laughs when the main character quips about it as he cleans. The cleaning itself is a fun experience even if the crime scenes themselves also make no sense "This victim was taken by surprise, she had no chance" but the room still looks like a tornado of blood hit it knocking furniture two rooms away. The upgrade system is interesting at best but nonsensical at worst as half your tools don't serve much function, a uv lamp to highlight blood? You can just use your cleaner vision and see it all highlighted anyway. Ultimately I do enjoy the core gameplay loop but the writing & presentation feels like an edgy teens dream.Show moreShow less
I love this game. I'm sad I finished it though.. I hope they make DLC and continue the story. The story and graphics are amazing.Show moreShow less
Total AI slop, couldn't even get through the first mission because of the horrendous AI voice. Nowhere on the store page does it specify that AI was used in the creation of the game, either. Don't recommend wasting your money lolShow moreShow less
The perfect game for my ADHD and Autism. The story is great, the gameplay even better. It felt very rewarding to see Kowalsky's place slowly improve with every mission you finish. It makes the whole progress seem more realistic. Also, bonus points for Dexter <3 I am really hoping for a second game one day !!! Edit after the nightmare update: The Nightmare challenges are so fun and well thought out. The update didn't disappoint.Show moreShow less
