Having played 5120hrs before I gave up and uninstalled, I can safely say when the 0.3% rng is kind to you it's really a feel good moment but more often then not, you will find yourself having to spend till you can exchange for the SSR in the shop. It is getting on my nerves that I have to spend over SGD $600 just to get 1 SSR if I am down on luck... So my advice to anyone who wants to try this is, if you are not willing to spend, you will never be in the top tier of pvp events... more importantly, the gacha rate is really horrible...Show moreShow less

(Sorry for this poor readablity. Steam updated this review window not to break lines!!) First of all, I am not a native speaker of English. I'll do my best to translate what my gaming experience has been so far. I have played VV on Steam platform for almost 4 years. I believe I've never missed a day for that long period. (Of course, I've missed 'the fxxxing CHECK-IN' once or twice.) Since I started this game on DMM (a Japanese platform) first, 1 year after its service began in Japan, I just wanted to have a look at the missing part in the Steam version without too much expectation. In the beginning, they even offered some cool original costumes for steam. But, at this moment there is nothing new, or better in this Steam version. Rather, it is a much poorer version of its original game in DMM version. I haven't gotten rid of this game yet because I've developed many girls up to almost level 80. However, the recent update including 'The everyday everyweek ARENA' has changed my view a lot. I will not have this game running any longer on Steam platform because they(Koei Tecmo) have discriminated against us, world users for many years. Furthermore, The Arena definitely crossed the line. It broke its last leg. (I'm watching their next move at the moment, but I won't be very patient.) Even before the arena update, there have been a number of elements of discrimination against world users: 1. anti-user-friendly updates (They could install the "Arena" which has never existed in DMM.) 1-1. poor user interface (DMM has improved it in the shop menu months ago.) 1-2. still no 'ONSEN(bathhouse)' but only 'Lesson' (DMM installed it 1 month after Koharu arrived.) Koharu first appeared in Steam on November 24, 2022, in other words, 4 months ago. 1-3. no bonus in taking a picture (DMM offers 1 full FP refilling a day only if you take a picture.) 2. poor chance of having freebies (DMM has a live broadcast almost more often than once in 2 months, where they send you 2 SSR tickets, 5000 v-stones, and plus. They did it in February 21, and now due on March 28, and all the freebies come into your account automatically.) They rather made a system called "check-in" where you must sign in the game everyday for 28 straight days, or you might not get the final gift, 5000 v-stones. I have signed in the steam VV every single day since I started, but I missed the February gift because I forgot to click the small red dot once. 3. poor number of holding collaboration events (DMM usually 3 to 4 times a year, but Steam probably once or twice a year?) In this collabolation events, they geneally offer better chances of earning SSR trend swimsuits(3.3%), and there is a good chance to get SSR cheer boards which are essential to make your teams stronger. Even right now, DMM is holding "the 25th Atelier Collabolation Event" while DOAXVV on Steam is excluded. 4. one water bottle one day (DMM 7 bottles a week, you can get them any time in one go.) Therefore, we have been forced to sign in the game every single day again, or you'll miss more bottles. 5. different goods used to get 'the EX remover oil' (DMM: with Venus POINTs which are very easy to earn, and you will probably have more than enough in a few weeks.) However, in Steam, you will have to sell your SSR costume to get 10 Venus COINs to get one EX remover oil. Even that oil is available only once a month, which DMM offers 4 times with spending a very small amount of Venus POINTs. Consequently, in Steam, you cannot swap the EX oils from a girl to another as easily as in the DMM version. This makes a huge difference in playing the SAME game only because you play it on Steam. In short, You will have to buy more EX oils for your girls in Steam with more of your hard cash. 6. "THE ARENA" (DMM: There has never ever been a system or update called "ARENA" on their platform.) Basically it is a PvP content. You must do it 5 times a day, more than 20 times a week, and if possible, you should get the highest rank possible because you can earn very rare goods to make your teams stronger, but this is not going to be easy. These are the discriminating elements that Steam version of DOAXVV offers to world users so far. After the 1st installation of the Arena, Producer Sakuta said: "Actually, a little while ago, the international version (overseas version) implemented a PvP mode called 'Venus Arena'. MANY OF OVEARSEAS OWNERS ARE MOTIVATED TO COMPETE WITH OTHERS, rather than to complete in themselves how strong the characters they have raised are. I put in a place where you can experience it on a trial basis." (You can check the original Japanese interview: https://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/interview/1455186.html ) Koei Tecmo has sold us a game called "vacation" where you can take pictures with pretty girls without COMPETING STRESS. Some of us, world users have spent lots and lots of money to make the girls happy and make them look even prettier. I really want to know whoever among us wants to compete against other owners. The base of gaming was actually not even designed for competition. Girls never listen. They don't follow the owner's directions at all. They do whatever they like. But we were fine because we never wanted them to be that strong. They just need to be pretty as they are now. Why do the girls have to be competitively strong? For what? To win the high rank in the Arena, you MUST have powerful costumes such as birthday special suits, which costs about $250 to $350 per one suit. But not once, because every year they make a new version of birthday swimsuits with more power and abilities. So at least 6 girls, if you are serious about this game, then, 9 girls must have their birthday swimsuits, (more than $2,000 now) but this is just the first step. You need to have all the skill sets, EX oils, SSR cheer borads with spending all your hard cash and hours and hours of grinding. Does Koei Tecmo really believe this is not a stress factor for users? Am I the only one who is so upset and sensitive on this factor? I feel already a huge stress even looking at the ARENA logo on the main screen. In conclusion, I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOAXVV on Steam. My view on this game is NEGATIVE because Koei Tecmo discriminates against world users. I apologize if there is poor English usage in this article. Thank you.Show moreShow less
This Valentines Day, my family and friends often wonder why I never got a single girlfriend. They are starting to think that I am gay or otherwise I keep telling them that the reason why is because I have better things to do than looking for a partner I even find it hard talking to girls while maintaining eye contact because I just can't. But the truth is that I am very immature. How can I even take care of a woman, if I can't even take care of myself? The truth is that no one really knows how to be an adult because everyone eventually just becomes one. Everything that happened until now is all because of the help of my parents and I am very grateful for that. One day, When I can finally stand up on my own two feet and finally have a woman who loves me for who I truly am, I will look upon this review and realize that I have finally made it.Show moreShow less
This game is a scam, well I think you're all aware of this. First if you want to play this game in free mode, than it's just fine with time and patience you can get most of the characters and the swimsuits, it's pretty well balanced. Just go ahead and "play" for free, but do not engage with it's "paid system". For instance if you want to get an event special swimsuit you'll first need to buy the paid gem stone ( you can't earn it in game/ the non paid version can be earned by playing volleyball). But the main problem is First you need to spend at least 50 to 40 dollars to do a single gacha pull (AKA Lootbox). You will receive 10 swimsuit based on their appear rate and also receive 10 "special items" (sometime it's a candle/badge etc) with each pull. Second you'll need 200 "special item" in order to exchange the event special swimsuit. That means you will need to play gacha 20 times in order to exchange that specific swimsuit, that is if you're lucky enough to get it during the pull. Third the 'paid' gacha it is practically same as the non paid gacha version, the only differenc being the swimsuit you will receiving will be for the specific character. Of course the rate in which the swimsuit will appear will be connected to it rarity, (R) Rare around 2.5 %, (SR) Super Rare around 0.9 %, (SSR) Super Special Rare around 0.1~0.7 %. So basically you will be receiving mostly R & SR swimsuit on a paid gacha. In order to get that specific swimsuit you'll need to spend around 550 usd for f*ck sake, I don't know why the hell they even bother to put an R swimsuit on a paid version (of course we know why), I don't know why you need "2 f*ucking hundred special items" for exchange (of course we know why). As you can see the paid section is very unbalance with no guarantee of you getting the prize and the prize costing too much to get. As final note DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME.Show moreShow less
The time I spent playing this game could've been spent ◴ ▸studying ▸applying for jobs ▸making friends irl ▸getting a gf ▸spending time with my family ▸working out ▸becoming a better man in general Before I played DOAX Venus Vacation, I had a small penis, no friends, no girlfriend, depression, and absolutely no life. These things haven't changed, but the game is pretty good. 10/10 would never uninstall this game and correct my life.Show moreShow less
I don't like Koei Tecmo, cause they are very greedy. DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme Venus Vacation is an extremely costly free game. Everything in this game is designed to suck out every dollar of yours and thereby there are very complicated mechanics to drive players invest as much money as possible. But gotta admit the characters and the bikini things are pretty tempting...Show moreShow less

It's a good game ON DMM. Recommended to play on DMM Games. It is basically a waifu game, where you select your favourite girls as your partner to play with. You can take photos, with various poses and outfits for you to choose from (after earning them through events and throwing tons of gems into the gacha). It is quite a relaxing game after a stressful day, where you can interact with the girls to pass time, etc. It is definitely playable as a free-to-play game, even if it's gacha-luck-dependent. Other than the fact that this version is in English, it is missing alot of contents... definitely not recommended to play on Steam. The english texts also felt very awkward, they just seem so out of place... Hopefully it changes for the better in the future. It's really nice that they are trying to reach out to a greater variety of audiences/players. Well, at least I can inter--- w-w-whWHAT?! I CAN'T TOUCH THE GIRLS?! NANIII!? The girls don't react to your touches... they don't... they don't...! No. N-n-n-n-n-nnNO!!! They at least should have Tama--- *UNINSTALLED* ひどい、本当にひどいぞう、泣きそうよ。 DMMゲームに行って遊ぼう。Show moreShow less
