Let's first point out the obvious... 1. Loyal players were constantly banned for playing the game... THAT'S IT! There was no actual reason to the bans, just stopping their loyal player base from playing the game from the very beginning. 2. The game had WAY too many bugs and exploits (which was also a ban if you happened to discover them). Many of which, the devs refused to fix. 3. MANY moderators would team and target other players that were better than them. They know who they are and they know what they're doing. I've played both Deshit 1 and 2 only to be banned for a few days for winning a game or two against certain moderators. 4. They also keep adding deshit roles essentially ruining the whole point of the game and displacing many players driving their own community away. 5. Last but not least, they made the game free after letting plenty of people purchase the game... I mean, I guess they made the $5 DLC free for the players who already bought the $15 game. Seems fair right? NOT! Just kidding, this game is a bag of mildly wet garbage that leaked out from the bottom onto a perfectly brand new carpet. TL;DR This game is not good in public matches, it's performance is horrendous for what you would expect and the cheating problem from previous games is left unresolved. It has potential but in it's current state it's unfinished, unpolished and rushed. Only buy if you have other friends to play with because public matches are a mess and will never represent true gameplay due to trolling. Deceit 2's release is extremely disappointing. The release is extremely rushed and unpolished it almost feels like it's done intentionally to grab as much cash as possible and drop the game similar to what they did with their previous game called Mavericks. The gameplay loop tries to be complex and have many variables but once you boil down the useless things it becomes extremely simple. There are tons of items in the game 70% of which are useless. The tasks are repetitive and the only one that encourages cooperation is almost impossible to use in a public match without friends. There are also severe performance issues that have been present since the very first closed alpha they did and they are left unresolved. This isn't a dealbreaker for people with good systems but keep in mind that even high end systems will not perform as good as you'd expect for how simplistic the graphics are. **A patch has been issued that's supposed to increase performance on lower end systems, from my experience there has been no significant impact but according to some people there is a noticeable change which I'm unable to confirm on multiple mid to high end systems.** On top of that, the community moderators are extremely incompetent and will give personal attacks to anyone that has anything bad to say about the game. It's an extremely toxic community and it's moderation feeds into it. One of the arguments is that the game has hours of content due to it's "progression system" where the items and cosmetics are locked behind a currency which you get by playing. This in my opinion is not progression rather locking """mostly useless""" items behind a wall that requires you to invest time into the game. Cheating is left unresolved with a simple band-aid fix of throwing the free version of EAC into the game being done. Throughout the years we've seen plenty of incompetence from the developers on patching exploits and fighting cheaters. This is understandable obviously it takes plenty of resources from the development of the game hence why they stacked up on moderators but they're immature unpaid workers which don't resolve the problem at all. Even without third-party applications you can obtain an unfair advantage by glitching out of the map on numerous places which was reported by me and a few friends that got together to hunt for bugs like this. We reported all of these issues to the development team but they're left unresolved in this release which goes to show even more that it's rushed and the team is turning a blind eye to these glaring problems. To close this all out, I want to say that this game has potential to be good and have deep gameplay with multiple variables that keeps you in the loop for hours. In it's current state it has 5 hours of gameplay (if you can suffer through the forced progression system long enough)Show moreShow less

played 120+ hours of deceit 1 and i never write reviews but holy cow man this needs a name change, nowhere near the original deceit, completely different game. full of glitches and unbalanced gameplay, everything is moving too quickly, votes keep getting casted up in your face, people keep downing eachother non stop, its just an overall terrible approach to a second title of the series, delete this lolShow moreShow less
