I just can't let this one slide without reviewing (this is my very first Steam review). This game should be called "How To Be a Better Sociopath". I decided to play this because reviews looked good and I've been enjoying FMVs recently. At first the game play was fine and entertaining, but the more I got into it the more I realized you are supposed to be trying to say and do all of the right things to "win over" the girls...even if you don't believe in how you are behaving. Convince her you are a good guy, that you want a kid, that you are a vegan...whatever it is it felt dirty and creepy, and if this game teaches young or inexperienced daters that this is the way to behave, then it's teaching full-blown sociopath behavior.Show moreShow less

Don't know if it's a pluss or not, but I ended up with 0 girls, so I guess it is realistic. Big - for replay value.. and you should have more choises. This is like watching a movie, can be a bit boring.Show moreShow less

It's about a guy named Vinny who wants to date ladies in a dating app, during the pandemic. I didn't have a good opinion about FMV games and I went it with my expectations set to low. And while I wasn't blown away by what I saw, it was definitely largely above my expectations, and it felt engaging enough for me. I guess with a larger budget, FMVs can be fairly competitive to traditional games. Do be advised though, there might be a few bugs here and there where a few video parts may play twice. It's fairly immersion breaking but nothing game breaking. Also, I found the acting to be really good, especially Vinny's actor did a fantastic job in my opinion; but the script could have been written better in certain parts as well.Show moreShow less
It's cringy, you have to wait about 5 minutes between player interactions and it is run on bad stereotypes, I would ask for a refund if I didn't get it as part of a bundle. There are good FMVs out there, this isn't one of them.Show moreShow less
Cool, just like real life. Almost all the girls i match hate me, only my homie stands by my side. But i don't have to pay 39.99$ a month for it. I'll take this as a win.Show moreShow less

I ended up with no one. It's super realistic! :D 10/10Show moreShow less
I've played several of the other games from Wales Interactive and came in with my expectations set at a certain level. The acting was consistently good throughout the game and the dialogue regularly made me laugh. So why don't I recommend this game after spending 4 hours to claim all the achievements? Aside from it potentially not aging well after the lift of COVID-era lockdowns, I had no connection with the protagonist, Vinny. What's his actual backstory? Vinny's best friend was great at being supportive but gave me no insight into the character I was piloting. In one story, I was a vegan. In another, I was a meat eater. I had no idea whether my character was lying to everyone about everything or what he believed. It felt like, at times, *I* was supposed to choose what I wanted to do while other times were about what Vinny might want in order to "win" with the date. Also, the lighting in the scenes was wildly inconsistent. It was distracting having a five-minute conversation where the background lighting would go from natural daylight to dark and back to bright daylight again with no explanation. There are a lot of scenes in this game, clearly filmed at different times of the day, but it broke immersion to see the sunlight changing so rapidly between portions of the same conversation.Show moreShow less
