"Developer is another one who put this game out, now posts updates saying they're releasing the next whatever...but its on their site or patreon. BS tactics and never giving updates on steam release. Steam needs to crack down on people releasing here, then moving everything to Patreon." Thanks for whoever wrote this down before me here on Steam, so I just had to copy, since I have exactly the same experience and opinion about this title and the dev team behind this title! Ofc., I hope the devs with some actual development on this title here on Steam will change my mind at some point in the future, prove me wrong, so I can recommend this title in the future. This is "an adult game", and that's why I got it. That's why anybody gets this. No one is getting this for the story. Does it have a story? Yes, and that's perfectly fine. What really annoyed me though is how I could not skip the story to get the "adult content". If you get buy this, know that the game, for some reason, thinks you got it for the story, will make you endure it's terrible story, and actively tease you with the "adult content" before actually getting to experience any of it. I was a full hour in before I saw anything (you know, the REASON you buy the game)! So, since the game used me as their captive audience for its god awful story, I have some critiques for it. The A plot is tired and cliche - the main character is trying to figure out what happened to his dad. You're forced into a friendship with the worst person on the planet, a completely moronic dude-bro named Dylan, who has an atomically annoying habit of interrupting any progress you might be making to actually see anything you bought the game for and takes you on some stupid adventure that is always a distraction and is always fruitless. The B plots in the game are very obscure, boring, lack any kind of depth, and do nothing for building upon any of the characters you meet. To that point, every character is shallow, lacks any kind of self motivation, and exists solely to help the main character on their mission. Only one other character (Alyssa) has any kind of hopes and dreams There's very little agency in the game - you're usually subjected to two options of dialogue, and both typically have the same outcome. On top of that, the decision that you're confronted with does not leave the question that prompted your answer on the screen! So, if you are like me and reach a limit where you can't handle the piss poor story any more and decide to just start clicking through all of the dialogue, you'll land on one of these decision trees and have no idea the context. Ever been in 5th grade during popcorn reading but you're not really paying attention? And the reader notices you and calls your name? And you start to sweat and get nervous because you realize you should have been paying attention and now you have to look like an idiot who doesn't know where you need to start reading on the page? Remember that feeling? This game makes you relive that feeling every time you're just trying to get your rocks off without killing an hour of time reading a disaster of a story! Oh. And one of the characters is named "Female Professor." Why not just "Professor?" Because professors can only be dudes unless specified? Just let me skip the story and watch the cut scenes. Let me experience the story when I feel like it. That's all I want.Show moreShow less
