Edit 13.05.2022 Since my first review and the developers response, the product has changed and. Drago Entertainment has addressed the criticism and defused the mechanics as far as can be seen. With the version 1.0.2.46397 is also the CrashReportClient.exe disappeared. Whats left? Social platform ,- and advertising remains and they are optional... I have not to mention that companies like Facebook (inclusive Instagram), Twitter and Co have their own mechanics to track users with pixels and Cookies but in this case users must take action to activate them. Unfortunately, Drago Entertainment do not respond to a request made. Thus, a hundred percent statement on current mechanics is currently not given The original review and dev response was archived on steam and website as well.Show moreShow less

TLDR: Do not buy the game atm. It's lag drops, spikes and overall bugs are bad and keep stacking up with each update/DLC. I had tons of fun playing the original release. Game ran fine and had almost no FPS drops. After each DLC or content update the game gtot worse. The dev DRAGO Entertainment promised to fix the issues but in stead kept releasing paid content without fixing the base problems. After several DLC's and extra content this game is a mess! The lag spikes are HORID (my system handles Alan Wake II 1440P at 100FPS+) and there are more bugs then from the start. People have been complaining about these heavy drops in FPS since 2021/2022 and Drago just ignores it, Of course, because this Dev knows that it's a problem with the base code they can't fix. Stacking DLC after DLC and emergency patches on buggy base code does not work. Tidal Wave does not expand your Gas Station btw, it's a seperate game mode that adds nothing. Skip that one anyway. My advice to Drago: Stop releasing money grabbing content and fix the base game first like you have promised over and over again but did not follow through. My advice to potential new buyers: Skip this game. There are several other games now that scratch the itch this game does without lag / fps / messy bugs that Do have better support.Show moreShow less

Pleasant game to play for awhile BUT: then you discover the hard way that this is a development platform for a list of spin off simulations. As noted by another reviewer DO NOT get the airstrip DLC until you have completed the basic game. If you do, your progress on basic gets mucked up beyond explanation. I theoretically have the "Can Touch This" (Hammer would be embarrassed) add on, but no indication how to activate it, while the airstrip DLC auto installs and (unfortunately) takes over the Station game. The Store page for Drago shows many, many spin off simulations but, like so many games now, the basic game seems to be more a beta at best and Steam is mostly a mechanism to raise money to develop more incomplete, glitchy games. If this game is offered at a deep discount then OK for awhile but DON'T buy the airstrip DLC at any price until you have the station of your dreams cuz it frags basic game. AND basic game is very glitchy (the highway out front ties up with accidents that are best cleared up with... the BROOM? Look at some of the screenshots) . It appears to actually be a proving ground for other projects. WAAAY TOO MANY games like this around. Spend your money wisely.Show moreShow less

Finish the main quest already, the game feels like Cleaning and Painting Simulator, not the Gas Station Simulator. Most of my time is doing the cleaning and painting my Gas Station than running it. There are some issues in this game: 1. Game crashes too often. 2. Cleaning still the issue, customer generate way too much mass in late game & staff cleaning speed is too slow. 3. Painting need to be done too often, staff can't do painting. Maybe a option to pay painting company to do painting 4. Delivery system is very bad, some item (car parts for example) only 1 click per item at a time. Need a bulk purchasing option. Show moreShow less

Starts out fun, but instead of evolving into a management sim once you've done your share of manual labor, it decides to introduce respawning sand piles that you have to remove with the clunkily controlled excavator if you don't want cars to get bugged. The rewarding feeling of having a neatly painted gas station doesn't last, because within a few hours the paint starts degrading and you can do the whole thing again. Fun! Car washing seems to be inspired by PowerWashing Simulator but completely misses the satisfying feeling and just feels clunky instead. Also had 2-3 crashes, but luckily only lost a few minutes of progress; and some general bugs, like weirdly moving people, and objects not following you correctly or clipping through the floor once grabbed. Overall a good attempt that suffers from questionable design choices, lack of automatability and bugs.Show moreShow less
