Batman says good bye in the first cut scene and my game turn off. Realistic 100%!Show moreShow less
I'm a big fan of the Batman games and the characters, but this game has some rough edges. This is not an Arkham game. Think Arkham, but designed around multiplayer. Controls are watered down and you don't have the Arkham gadgets or puzzles. There's an odd loot and crafting system like what you'd expect in larger multiplayer games. While there is some stealth this is more of a brawler. Most of the content is repeatable activities around the city, but there focused story missions that are locked behind completing some number of those repeatable activities. The co-op works very well. It's a lot of fun to run through the game with another player and I've enjoyed the co-op I've played so far. They also did a great job of designing this piece. If someone joins your game they can't jump to the next set piece or skip cinematics. The city is huge and has many buildings you can walk into without seeing loading screens. I think the denser city is cause of the performance issues. You'll see frames drop to the 40s in the denser parts of the city. I have a pretty decent computer 2080ti, ryzen 7 3800x, 16g ram, and I've installed to a SSD. I've spent hours trying to tweak settings based on tips I found online, but I still can't get a constant 60 while driving around the denser parts of the city. Hopefully the devs fix performance. I've finished the story at this point and the plot is pretty good. I was able to complete the game in ~30 hours. It feels shorter than previous Batman games, but I think that's fine. 30 hours is a lot and I plan to keep playing co-op. If you still want to try it, buy from Steam so you have the option to refund. It has a good story and a large cast of characters. If you don't care about performance, grinding, and like superhero co-op games you'll enjoy this. I'm having fun even with the issues I've pointed out. I'd recommend waiting for performance patches though.Show moreShow less
Alright listen up. You'll see a lot of conflicting information about this game, and it's clear that going into it for the first time, if you expect a follow-up to Arkham Knight, you're in for disappointment. Gotham Knights is not an Arkham game. By the developer's words, it's not in the same continuity or universe as the Arkham series. What's causing confusion is the likeness that GK has to the earlier Batman games, and the strong, clear influence that they had upon it. The gameplay has similarities, but tries to do something else completely that's not quite as well-oiled as an Arkham game, at least for at the beginning. It works its way up the fun ladder with a rather classic power fantasy climb to power, but as opposed to Batman games, starts you off with less and gives you specialized characters to choose from rather than one Bat-God to raze the city to the ground with. The story and narration are quite good (and it IS quite narration heavy, which I absolutely love, sign me up for a 10-15 minutes long intro cinematic anytime). It doesn't happen during one single night like the Arkham games, and everytime you come back from mission you unlock a little more stuff based on what you did during your last night on patrol. The gameplay reveals itself relatively slowly, and the enemy and player level mechanics are a little weird at the beginning, but work pretty well in the end. It's a pretty game, with lots of content, good narration and a solid dive into one of the very few decent DC entertainment products we're ever gonna get. I've been lucky enough to get very little optimization issues other than one crash, and yeah, the slower pace and grind (if you can even call it that, cause it's not much of a grind) won't please everyone. It's maybe not a game of the year contender, but by no means is it a bad game. If you jump into Gotham Knights expecting Arkham gameplay, you've got no one to blame but yourself, but if you can appreciate it for what it is rather than what everyone's insane expectations were, you'll like it. Although, fair is fair, the price is insane. If you wanna wait a bit for stability updates and to get the game on sale, that's just smart thinking right there.Show moreShow less

idk why they made this game so difficult to play as bat girl. I keep trying to attempt stealth but the clap of her ass cheeks keeps alerting the criminals.Show moreShow less
There are way too many performance problems and somehow the game doesnt care if i am playing on max or lowest settings. I just get constant low FPS. My screen is also stuck in a blurry vision. Can't recommend it like this.Show moreShow less
