Look, it'll be fun after updates. But right now it feels more like an extremely early access game. I know that it's new, but after the years of work in Hell Let Loose, wouldn't there be a better release for this game?Show moreShow less
The game feels like hell let loose, different setting that's it. 90% of the complaints / negative reviews are due to the full servers. Be honest with yourself which game doesn't have that problem at launch? Also VIP server requirement is for the community servers. Bad graphics? Simple - by default the game is put on low, change it :) Already helped over 15 players in game with this. Otherwise the performance is great, zero issue's. A lot of people bought the game that have never played hell let loose before. The way they play just shows it lol They die every 5 seconds.Show moreShow less
Basically every server now requires VIP to join and they do not list how many VIP slots are reserved and only show empty slots. This makes joining a server not only tedious but overly complicated.Show moreShow less
Played both playtests and a ton of HLL before this. This release is a large improvement over the playtests. Runs great, servers are full, cooperative players. Same HLL you know and love with new maps textures weapons and features. Well worth it. If you play it like a battlefield game you are going to have a bad time. Dont listen to negative reviews from players with less than an hour. DLSS works great framerate and my pc has no issuesShow moreShow less
Just buy ARMA Reforger and play on the Vietnam servers. This games feels like cheap slop.Show moreShow less
It's "Hell let loose" but in Vietnam. Kinda jank & the guns sound a little rinky-dink. Nothing an update or two won't fix. Runs well on Linux.Show moreShow less
Hot Garbage. Rising Storm Vietnam released ages ago and is somehow still wearing this game like a customized tailored suit. Visuals & Audio: Pretty, But Empty. The graphics and sound design are exactly what you expect from a game that spent 99% of its budget on looking pretty for the launch trailer and 1% on actual game mechanics. UI & Networking: I tried to join multiple servers, only to be lovingly embraced by the message: "Queue Full." or something about a VIP requirement. Figured it was some kind of bug so I restarted the game. Instant crash on boot. Fantastic. The only open servers were completely dead. Want an actual match? Better prepare to sell your soul and join one of the many sweaty, overly serious milsim communities that haunt this genre. Graphics & FPS: The One Bright Spot High-End PCs: Handled it like a champ. Smooth gameplay. Mid-to-Low PCs: Expect a modest 60-70 FPS average. Honestly? Not terrible. Gameplay & Physics: I didn’t even make it to a live match after too much time passed so I spent my time testing vehicles in an empty server, which was a wild ride. The Flight Test: Cruising around was... fine. The graphics held up. The Physics Engine (Or Lack Thereof): You’d think that nose-diving a Vietnam-era US helicopter straight into solid earth at terminal velocity would reduce it to confetti. You would be catastrophically wrong. I dove nose-first into the dirt at max speed, bounced off like a Super Ball, and walked away without a scratch. Thinking it was a fluke, I treated my chopper like a skateboard and pulled off a kick-flip into a sturdy oak tree. Same result. Indestructible. The True Nemesis: What finally brought my aircraft of the gods down? A gentle, slightly aggressive landing in an open field. That did it. Final Verdict If you actually want to play this game, wait at least 6 months for them to iron out bugs that a literal free AI model could have patched in 30 minutes. Until then? Just wishlist the thing and go play any of the other five finished games in this exact same genre.Show moreShow less
Most of the comments that you see are from people with potato PCs or short attention spans. You will see.... 1. Game is bad because it crashes 2. Game is bad because I cant get into a server 3. Game is bad because I have to do a tutorial 4. Blah Blah Blah So...... I have never crashed and I get into games right away with my homies and the tutorial took 5 mins. Simple humans just want to complain about anything these days, this is why most games are DOA anymore.Show moreShow less
This game is too buggy right now don't buy it. Also they didn't put traps in because of "moral" reasons but we have napalm and everything else, very questionable decision.Show moreShow less
