HOLD ON THERE STRANGER, SCROLLING THROUGH THE REVIEWS! HEAR MY WORDS, AND LET ME TELL YOU A TALE: A TALE OF DISAPPOINTMENT AND ANGER. LEND ME YOUR EARS, AND LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO TELL YOU... I've played a TON of JC2 and JC3, so I was excited to try Just Cause 4. I saw all the negative reviews, saying how it's trash and all that. But I thought, "Hey, I'm going to give it a fair shot. I don't really care about graphics, as long as I'm just having fun." So, I bought it at full price, and booted up the game, excited to cause some delicious mayhem! I wanted to like this game. I really did! But I did not. NOT AT ALL. First impressions went something like this: "Okay cool, bad guy likes weather. Wait, where are my attachable C4's? Maybe I unlock them later. Explosions! Huh. They seem pretty lack-luster. I feel like JC3's were better. Okay, well at least I can shoot these guys up. I'll just find some pistols a second. (20 minutes pass) Are there no PISTOLS? PISTOLS?! Okay, what about grenades?! Please tell me you at least have some dam GRENADES. It's like a staple in ever action game ever. No? *sigh* I'll just continue this boring mission. Wait, where am I going? Oh, okay over there at that tiny marker. I'll just grapple over there and- Woah what? WHAT THE F*CK DID THEY DO TO MY GRAPPLE? MY BABY! okay, this is fine. I think I can live with this? Now I gotta go meet with some dude and stuff and... what is even going on?! I'll just open my map, and... What. The. F*ck. Is. THIS?! WHAT KIND OF MENU IS THIS? Stay cool. Pretty soon, it'll become natural (it did not btw). Okay, finally. I can customize my grapple. Maybe I can fix it or something. Nope. Alright, well now I can add balloons and stuff. So I have to go to this menu, into that sub-menu, into that tab, into that selection, and then choose the addition, and then choose the specific type of addition (while holding down a key and cycling through them only with another random key) and... these are the worst controls. You know what? IO'm done. I'm F*CKING DONE WITH THIS BS!" *closes game and goes into steam to order my refund. (Also, there are only sport cars on the roads, so it doesn't feel special when you drive one. And, the cars are way too boring. Also, the controls for driving SUCK A*S.) I should also note that the liberation system that has been some of the best parts of the series is now gone, and replaced with a stupid squad system that you have to earn and unlock, and it's all just very confusing. Trust me. In summary, this game seemed to say, "Hey, if we just slap the Just Cause logo onto the front of it, people will buy it! Don't worry too much about gameplay or the fundamental fun parts about the previous games. It's all about that sweet, sweet revenue." It pays too much attention to the small things like radio songs and customizing how fast a balloon inflates than the basic point of a game. TO HAVE FUN. As I said before, I'm disappointed that I must write this negative review, but it's just a bad game... NOTE: HOPEFULLY, PEOPLE ACTUALLY READ THIS REVIEW AND DON'T BUY THIS GAME. I'M DOING YOU A FAVOR HERE WHEN I TELL YOU TO SAVE YOUR MONEY!Show moreShow less
I'm really torn on writing this review. Just Cause 4 does do some things very well, but other things are a major step backwards from JC3. As a sandbox, JC4 is great. The grapple has been further improved over JC3 with the new balloons and upgrades to the existing boosters and tether. There's a nice variety of terrain to explore and random stuff to blow up, and a lot more working utility vehicles with functional cranes and forklifts for example. Plus there's new weather control bases you can use to spawn destructive weather at will once they've been captured. Unfortunately, as a game, JC4 just isn't that much fun at times. JC3 got a lot of flak for the base liberation being repetitive and tedious at times and JC4 tried to address that with more missions. On the surface this seems like a good idea until you realize that the same few annoying mission objectives are copy-pasted multiple times with just slight variations. To make things worse, many of these objectives involve defending fragile items or hacking terminals with a countdown timer where you can't do anything else, and have to restart when interrupted. The endless respawning hyper-aggresive AI in Just Cause has always been a problem, and mission objectives like these just highlight how bad it is when attack helicopter after attack drone appears out of nowhere and does massive damage to the fragile item you have to protect. Worse, the controls are frequently unresponsive and the gunplay is sloppy, and the endless respawning enemies include way too many soldiers with grenade/rocket launchers that will ragdoll you all over the place. Not to mention that the DEVS REMOVED C4!!! This is why I'm torn on this review. The sandbox is great, but it's locked behind a lot of content that's more frustrating than fun, and the linear missions remove the freedom you had in earlier games on how to approach liberating bases. At the end of the day I've decided to recommend this game with major caveats. Get it on sale, do not pay full price for this. Use a savegame or mod that opens up the sandbox much earlier and save yourself the frustration of dealing with the poor mission design. The Good: World is more varied and interesting than JC3 PROPER TRACKED TANKS!!! Working actuators on vehicles like cranes and forklifts Improved grapple abilities Interesting weapons with alternate fire modes Cutscenes and story are surprisingly decent with lots of humor Friendly tanks/choppers will occasionally help you out in combat The Bad: Can't take over bases by blowing stuff up, have to complete annoyingly linear missions including dreaded escort/protect/hacking objectives AI is still as annoying and bad as ever with enemies appearing out of thin air right next to you Sloppy on-foot/grapple controls and gunplay Bikes are terrible to drive Less destroyable bridges compared to JC3 The Ugly: NO C4!!! Update: I got the gold edition with the DLC and finished playing through the DLC content, so here's a quick review of the DLC: Weaponized Wingsuit: Awesome, one of the best reasons to get the gold edition. Makes some missions much easier since you have infinite wingsuit missiles. More or less the same thing you get from JC3's sky fortress DLC. Dare Devils of Destruction: Mad Max style death races in JC4. The new vehicle variants with guns are fun, but the actual missions themselves are annoying score attack objectives that you'll need to replay repeatedly to unlock everything. 5/10, worth playing if you have gold, hard to recommend getting if you don't. Los Demonios: Bad, bad, bad. If you have gold, I wouldn't recommend even starting the mission arc. The rewards aren't even remotely worth it (a crossbow and the ability to spawn the super annoying demon bugs anytime), and if you start the mission arc you'll need to finish the awful missions to get the map back to its original state (demon bug infestations block you from completing some of the vehicle/wingsuit stunts until they're cleared). At least clearing the infestations involves liberation style destroy everything missions instead of protecting/hacking things. The first mission itself is fine at least and moderately interesting, but it goes downhill fast after that. Final boss fight is a new level of awfulness for the franchise worthy of a spot on the list of worst video game boss fights of all time. 1/10, don't waste your time on this content, it will actively make the rest of the game worse until it's fully completed. Danger Rising: Actually a good DLC. Lots of new toys to play with, interesting locations to liberate by destroying everything, and some more story content with Rico and the Agency to boot. Only negatives are some of the mandatory hoverboard challenges to open the reactors are annoying and don't make sense from a gameplay or logical standpoint. 9/10, great DLC pack.Show moreShow less
Just Cause 2 and 3 were as perfect an example of great games as you could find, Just Cause 4 however, is the ugly lovechild of lazy developers(Avalanche) and a greedy Publisher(Square Enix). The game was released unfinished on release and 5 months later it's still a total mess. Pros: Big open World. Tornado is fun. More tanks! Cons: Random crashes on high end system. Random fps drops on high end system. No water surface physics. No Sun. NO Day/Night cycle (1 hour day/10 seconds night!) 2D textures in a 3D game (see railroad tracks) Cutscenes are PS3 console quality. Ricos hair has white "dandruff" and graphically looks like console quality. Most graphic settings don't work AA is total rubbish and does not work. No Brightness slider No Gamma slider No FOV slider as promised. No Pistols No C4 No dual wielding guns No liberation. Save games get reset randomly World is empty with very few destructables. AI is awful, worse than ever. Vehicle control is terrible, despite a driving dlc being released! Submenus are direct console ports, merely changing tethers can mean 7 keypresses! As you can see it's a long list of cons, many of which just are not acceptable in a $130 AUD AAA game from 2018/19. The game randomly crashes and when the last patch came out many peoples saves were reset(including mine). For reference i have an I7 6700k and 1080Ti, the game is so poorly optimised even i have problems. The game doesn't even require you to liberate zones, you simply do a mission or a few of the (awful) side quests/stunts to level up your squad and unlock new zones. This attempt at strategic JC gameplay can only be described as a "risk the boardgame" style strategy and fails hard. The game is more a management sim with missions, not the interactive, die Hard, over the top movie like experience we have come to know and love about the Just Cause franchise. Take it from someone who pre-ordered this as a HUGE fan of JC2 and 3, only to be let down by both the quality of the game and the lack of any real action by the developers. The tech support of the forum goes unanswered for weeks at a time and for many people the game crashes regularly or resets their save games. Buy it when its 75% off or avoid it entirely. RIP Just Cause and shame on you SE.Show moreShow less
My friend who I play CS 2 with said if I post a review on this game and it gets 200 likes and 45 Awards that he will buy me a RTX 4090 and 2 dildos. So I'm just gonna leave this here. Help a brothaShow moreShow less
Just Cause 4 forgets its origins. In JC3 the game and it's story seem carefully crafted to NOT take itself too seriously and just enjoy its mechanics of mayhem and destruction. The witty banter, an over the top dictator, enjoyable destruction via wacky physics, and a whole mess of over powered weaponry entertained me through its main game and all its DLC. JC4 on the other hand takes a turn from some of those elements. Rico isnt as funny anymore and is border line brooding. He doesn't have any witty companions, the story seems to want to take itself seriously and some of those wacky physics are a bit too wacky. The departure from its predecessor came as a suprise to me and I believe is a direct result to some of the lesser gripes I was muttering to myself as I played the game. The choppy water was gone and had been replaced with really crappy looking water. I know, not a big thing, but the waves in JC3 gave life to that part of the game. It's hard not to notice its absence. Helicopter controls became worse and it was almost impossible for me to target enemy choppers using missiles. I hardly even know how to describe this issue with text. I literally can not shoot a missile at a flying enemy unless the aiming reticle is on them and turns red, but if that enemy is moving forget about it, because you have to lead your target only you can't because your reticle has to be on the target to get it to turn red so you can shoot at it unless its moving...ARGGGGGHHHH! Some changes, like removing grenades and replacing them with secondary functions on certain weapons have left me on the fence. Most of the secondary functions are great and enjoyable, but I personally like the staple of having grenades at all times. If that was something I wanted to maintain as I played it meant that I had to carry a specific weapon with me that had that secondary function. And since you can only carry two weapons with you I often times felt limited. Planted explosives are also gone which is something I miss. The map just seems so much smaller than JC3. I bet this statment is false, but I burned through it so damn fast it felt* smaller by comparison. The introduction of front lines where the rebels are fighting the enemy initially seemed like it would be a cool thing, but there was so little impact to whatever I was doing or how I was progressing through the game it made me wonder why it was there in the first place. Instead of liberating multiple small settlements to free zones now all one has to do is a single mission. And there are only 3 or 4 versions of that mission and they just aren't as engaging. It seems odd to look back at JC3 and find that the repetitive nature of freeing settlements by blowing up the same damn things was more fun, but there it is. I don't really hate JC4. I can still do goofy things and I have fun with the new tether options that are available. I gripe because it moved away from things that I liked or expected to see again from JC3. This game falls into the category of sequels where instead of getting the previous game plus more*, I got a little less with some changes that just didn't measure up to its predecessor. I haven't given up on this game, but I won't likely spend much time on it unless the DLC's bring something special with them.Show moreShow less
The game as a sandbox is the best in the series. Good graphics, excellent performance, incredible freedom, and polished mechanics. The extreme weather is also a pleasant joy, tornadoes especially. I hope the weather mechanics continue into future games. However, as a game for playing missions/objectives/story? An absolute joke. The missions and objectives are boring and repetitive, and the game isn't focused around destruction at all. Defend this, hack that, escort this, hack that. Good god, I wanted to end myself while choking down the story content so I could unlock supply drops and whatnot. Buy this game if you're up for the task of speeding through the story so you can focus on the excellent part of the game; the sandbox.Show moreShow less
TL;DR Version at the Bottom Right away: Im not trying to discourage anyone from buying this game, if you think it may be fun for you you should go ahead and buy it, but im trying to bring my opinion on this across to maybe help with your decision. To start off with the positive parts: This game is great fun, it looks pretty decent in my opinion (except for some terrible textures that are just flat on the ground, for example the train tracks) and the non Top notch graphics are partially to blame on the rather complex physics engine, a lot of the gameplay elements are just great, messing around with the Grapple is fun, Driving feels a bit weird but especially with the fast cars its really cool too. The aforementioned Physics Engine works wonders and the way the world interacts with your actions brings an unique feel to the gameplay. The first few hours i spend ingame were amazing, i started into it with basically no problems, lags or glitches, the only problem was its tendency to crash regularly, a problem i fixed by restarting my PC and since then it hasnt even happened once. Upon release (I got it 24h earlier due to preorder) I literally forgot to go to sleep, making my morning College class pure hell. The Deluxe Edition Content was fun too and playing around with it gave some great Moments. All of this sounds pretty positive but after a few hours of playing I started noticing the huge Problems the game has. The first thing you notice when you jump into the game is the absolutely TERRIBLE UI. This is definitely not an overstatement, the menus are confusing and messy (even more so than in the previous games where they werent pretty or practical either), you cant remap a lot of the buttons (not even the movement keys, everyone who doesnt play with WASD is furious about this), for example you cant remap the button that activates Stealth mode in a few Vehicles, which was problematic as I had my map on the same button, as the default is just terrible. But a bad UI in itself isnt a factor that should qualify it for a negative review, Skyrims orginal UI was bad too and its widely considered an amazing game. What really causes me to give it a negative review is the massive difference to the regular Just cause formula. Of course you hope for new mechanics, even if some of them were reworked completely, a lot of people wouldnt bat an eye, but JC4 did something I cant really forgive: Take out the thing that made the older Games fun to play for a long time. If you look at my account you can see that I spend 203 hours in JC2 and 206 in JC3 (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i wasted a lot of my life), in both these games i strived to achieve everything there was. I even dowloaded a mod that made it possible to finish JC2 on 100% by adding the 6 missing chests and the missing Water Tower into it, I collected every single Chest hidden away somewhere in the sprawling bases, destroyed every silo and every fuel station, even if they werent marked on the map, i got all achievements, even playing the game on the hardest Difficulty just for the achievement. I did something similar in JC3, these two are some of the very few games where I actually got all achievements, because even after completing every base in the game it was still fun. I would play days at a time if I had nothign else to do, sometimes almost non Stop. With JC4 i have played 9 hours so far and Im already somewhat bored. The reason for that is just what i said earlier, that they took out a big part of the game: The base Progression. To explain that: In Just Cause 4 you can find Bases and villages, just like in the previous games, but instead of the progression in these bases being linked to destructible world items, where with every fuel depot or Generator you destroy you progress in that base, the progress is linked to a row of sidemissions. Some of them are a bit fun, like for example destroying surveillance Zepelins, but most of these Sidemissions are what the Game calls Stuntmissions. These consist of 3 Types: -Wingsuit, where you need to fly through 3 rings in a time limit, a incredibly easy task with no challenge whatsoever -Speed, where you need to pass a ring going a certain speed (Pretty much every car in the game can go atleast 150 in afew seconds so its no problem at all) -And last anf definitely least the vehicle challenges. In these you need to pass a ring using a certain vehicle. That doesnt sound to hard does it? Well the problem is that you dont always find that vehicle close by. I had times where i ran out the location of said challenge and just stumbled upon the right vehicle. But there were multiple times where i searched for more than half an hour for the vehicle, just to then drive it to the stunt, drive through it and then just go to the next one. You could also destroy the Chaos Objects, do the one time side missions that come with some of the bigger bases, and then see the base as liberated, but most of the functions of the grapple are locked behind these Challenges and every time you return the Chaos Objects will just be there again, making the whole ordeal feel exceptionally pointless. And yes i said that there are proper side missions for the bases. These pretty much consist of a few points in the area you have to visit, a few enemys you have to kill and then visit another place/escort people out of the base. And thats it. No epic firefights, no creative solutions that actually do anything toward the completion of the game, nothing. But thats not all there is, the games is also plagued by a bunch of gameplay choices that could best be described as bizzare, theres neither sprinting nor crouching, Vehicles and Stationary guns now have limited ammunition, remapping buttons is barely possible as you cant remap them to buttons that are already used, meaning that if you want to remap aiming down the sights to right mouse button, and the secondary fire mode to the middle mouse button (so basically just swap them) you need to: -Take one of these function and map it to a random unused button -Take the second button and map it to the just freed button -And then map the Button you set to somethign else to the original second button I mean who even decides something like that. In addition finding the areas of the game where said Stuntmissions are located happens in a weird way. Where in JC2 you had small markers for undiscovered locations, and JC3 atleast told you what you were missing in the area there seems to be nothing like that in JC4. As a result of that you basically need to fly over the whole map and hope that you discover every random tiny village or "special" Landmark (Whereby some of these Landmarks can jsut be random Lakes or Waterfalls, or even worse a small tiny Lever in the middle of nowhere with very few clues where they actually are. Conclusion: In the end Just Cause 4 isnt necessarily a bad game, its mechanics are fun, the Gunplay is fun and I will definitely spend a bunch of time playing around in it, driving my cars into the Tornados (Those are real fun), turning a Forklift into an airborne vehicle or just causing Mayhem, but the longer I play the more I think its somehow a downgraded version of the JC3 Gamplay in a JC2 skin. And the more I play the more I want to go Back to the third part and just blow up some Stone bridges and trains, both of which are things you apparently cant do in the fourth installement (And i tried). All in all it isnt bad. it just isnt what I wished it would be, and quite frankly, what it could have been. Also its obviously just a bad port, sometimes the onscreen button promps show console buttons. TL;DR: The Game isnt bad Gameplay wise but due to a few bizarre Choices fails to capture the actual Jsut Cause Spirit (No actual Base Liberation, No proper Key Remapping, Bad UI (Altho considering the past games this may be part of the Just Cause Spirit)) ~SnowShow moreShow less
Just Cause 4 Just Cause 4 introduces us to extreme weather and mods for the grappling hook. It all adds up to outrageous fun and over the top chaos. Curator Info: Follow our curator page: OCG-Curations if you like and want to see more reviews like this one. Story: Set in the fictional South American world of Solis, Rico Rodriguez returns in Just Cause 4 to spearhead a rebellion against the Black Hand, a private military organization. The inhabitants of Solis have had enough of the tyranny and injustice and recognize Rico as the man to lead them to freedom. Rico helps the rebellion become more powerful by performing strategic missions, gaining them intel, weapons and military hardware. The more missions he completes the stronger the army becomes, claiming territories, and gaining a foothold in Solis. Along the way Rico discovers the truth about his past and must fight his fiercest opponent yet, Gabriela Morales. Gameplay 🕹️ Just Cause 4 is set in four distinct biomes: Rainforest, Grasslands, Alpine & Desert. Each biome offering its own individual, fully simulated weather event. Tropical storms torment the rainforest, tornadoes twist around the grasslands, blizzards barrage the alpines and sandstorms shroud buildings in the desert. Getting to witness these events takes time and I have only managed to experience two of the weather events so far. Tornadoes draw Rico towards them, especially when in his wingsuit or parachute. It is a battle to get away from the suction created and if he collides with one, he will be killed instantly. Tropical storms are great fun. Torrential rain and gale force winds batter the landscape and send objects flying chaotically around. If you are in an elevated position lightning will try and strike you down and you must try to move fast to avoid it. This is all happening whilst trying to defend yourself from Black Hand minions and complete your mission. It is a sight to behold and looks and feels very effective. Your movement is restricted by the winds and you can only walk slowly whilst battling against the storm. Your grapple hook still works though so you’ll find that is the only way of moving around at speed and avoiding the lightning. I am looking forward to seeing the sandstorms and blizzards but I have not yet reached those biomes. If they are as impressive as the other two then it should be worth the wait. The purpose of the game is to lead the Army of Chaos to victory and discover the truth about your past. By completing missions, you will gain chaos points. Gaining enough chaos points spreads hope and belief amongst the rebellion, and earns you extra recruits in the form of squads. The game is all about chaos and actively encourages you to blow up as many things as possible. Objects marked red and white are chaos targets and destroying these in whatever fashion you like adds to your score. There are so many different ways to go about wreaking chaos. You can use your modified grappling hook to manipulate objects in a variety of different ways or hop inside the numerous vehicles of destruction and blow everything to smithereens. Explosions are so much fun and even after completing the mission you will be scouring the map for things to blow up. It’s just too cool to resist. The land of Solis is divided by territories and each territory has a certain number of squads you will need to invade it. You may also have to complete a special mission within that territory before you can overthrow the regime. Once you satisfy the criteria for that territory and move your troops in, the front-line advances. You can only attack an adjacent territory to the front-line. I have to admit I got a bit confused about the front-line and how to control its movement. Earning extra squads is not easy. It takes time and I found I was using them on territories I didn’t really want to invade but was forced to because of the limitations set upon me. This does tend to hinder the progress of the story and you’ll find that to continue the storyline you will need to invade a certain territory. If the territory is away from the front-line then you’ll have to work your way through a number of other territories to get there! All costing squads which you will need to earn by causing chaos. Luckily that part of the game is awesome so it’s not too much of a chore. Within each territory is also a varying number of challenges for you to complete. Sargento will help coach your army by setting you training goals to complete; Javi asks your assistance in finding historic relics and Garland employs you to perform stunts and speed tricks. There are 124 wingsuit challenges, 185 speed challenges and 127 stunt challenges. These will keep you busy for a long time. Completing these challenges will earn you points which you can use to buy mods for your grappling hook. There are three types of mods: Retractors, air lifters and boosters. You can change the way these behave with the mods adding extra length, speed or height to the effects. You can be as imaginative as you like with these mods. I found it great fun to attach boosters to planes on an air field and watch them shoot across the runway careering into other planes and exploding. You can lift explosives and shoot them or grapple enemies and fling them around. My favorite thing is to tether enemies to the ground and then attach boosters and watch them flail around headbutting the ground. The possibilities are endless and a lot of fun to experiment with. There are also numerous feats to perform like longest freefall or longest wheelie on a bike. The statistics are displayed and you can compete on online leaderboards. I found it difficult to locate vehicles needed for stunts and speed challenges. A lot of these challenges stipulate that you need a certain vehicle to complete the challenge. These are not highlighted so you need to find them. I would have much preferred a location finder. Combat is immensely satisfying with whatever weapon you are using. There is a plethora of different weapons to use. They sound amazing and it is the combat that keeps you coming back for more. There are a variety of enemies each with their own AI. Some will stand still, some will try and dodge bullets or take cover and some even roll around and disappear with some sort of future tech camouflage. It’s so much fun. Missions are a little repetitive and you’ll find that you perform the same type of mission again and again. These usually involve locating breakers or consoles to activate. Sometimes you will need to deactivate these within a certain amount of time which can be quite challenging. Sound: 🎵 Superb sound effects throughout. Guns sound awesome, explosions are meaty and satisfying and the characters are well voice acted. Graphics: 📺 I had most settings on high or very high on my Radeon RX 580 and I7 8700K and they achieved a steady 60FPS throughout. Environments and objects were gorgeous but I wasn’t so impressed with the characters faces. Conclusion The game is outrageously fun. After 32 hours I am still enjoying it as much as when I started. Missions are a little repetitive but when the combat is this good, and the variety of weapons and vehicles is so vast, and when there is always a new angle on blowing something up then it never gets tiring. The weather effects and an extra dimension to the gameplay and make the whole experience even more hectic and enjoyable. The grappling mods are interesting and with a bit of practice introduce a whole new set of possibilities. Highly recommended. This game was received free through curator connect.Show moreShow less
I don't usually go out of my way to leave negative reviews but this one is special. This isn't a review to hurt the publisher, it's a warning message to consumers. This port is an absolute disaster that should be avoided with Square's track record on patching their games (See Nier: Automata). Graphics as others have mentioned are shockingly bad on PC (I set everything I could to very high). I don't expect Uncharted / God of War / Red Dead 2 levels of detail here and I don't normally care too much about the technical merits of a game but in this case everything sticks out like a sore thumb constantly. It's not just bad textures under a microscope because people are being nitpicky. You can't help but see it everywhere. While I think people are being hyperbolic about comparing this to a PS2 game there are definetly things that remind me of mid gen PS3 / 360 titles in a non-flattering way. Just Cause 3 had it's performance issues on console but it's an otherwise beautiful and vibrant game. Just Cause 4 feels like a B team took on what Just Cause 3 accomplished. It's hard to feel like this is just a bug when the game launched this way and everyone is seeing the same things. Including console players who should have builds locked to specific hardware specs. Outside of the graphics this game is just a terrible port in general. The WASD keys can't be remapped and the Menu itself is simply awful. You can click on items in the graphics settings with no feedback that anything has actually changed and an apply button that seemingly doesn't work. Pressing escape does nothing in half the menus to bring you back (It's all bound to right mouse which is not communicated at all) and left clicking on the back button does not in fact bring you back to the previous menu. It's like no one even tested this stuff with a mouse / keyboard. The most unforgivable part of the port. It crashes constantly. I had the game crash 7-8 times on me in the hour I spent with it. It wouldn't even launch for me until some significant forum searching where someone suggesting turning off steam cloud saves which worked for some reason.Show moreShow less
