01About Keep on Mining!
Keep on Mining! is a short incremental mining game about breaking rocks, gathering ore and turning it into bars. Spend those bars on permanent skill-tree upgrades, or craft stronger pickaxes from different materials. Level-ups offer a choice among three random talent cards, though each choice also increases rock HP. Unlocking the Mine adds automated mining and bar crafting. Steam player reviews: 93% positive from 8,357 reviews. Release date: July 30, 2025. Steam PC version: Windows.

Please add some kind of ascension to the end game, a way to improve the relics, more pickaxe more everything. Great game but too short sadly, i just 100% the achievements, there is a primitive form of endgame upgrade but its not enoughShow moreShow less
A decent time waster but nothing more. There's no builds that change the way you play, there's no strategy. You spin your mouse in a circle for 30 seconds then buy upgrades and repeat. Every upgrade makes you do the same thing, there's no variation in the 3 hours of gameplay this game provides.Show moreShow less
I don't usually write reviews, so forgive any grammar issues or the execution of this one, lol. I'm pretty sure I've 100% completed the game, unless the mine has a specific completion point. I'm just going to give a blunt review: I feel like the best part of the game was the first 20-30 minutes. When I got **lighting**, I was like, "Oh yeah!" It felt good and I got excited. The dopamine was flowing! However, about halfway through, it just lost its **pizzazz** (or however you spell it!). I even tried to keep mining when I knew I had upgrades that would allow for bigger jumps in power, so I could really feel the increase. But those jumps stopped feeling good, and it got to the point where I just hit "continue mining" and left my mouse in the center until I needed to restart. Although I'm not unhappy with how much I spent on this game, for people reading this, know that I'm addicted to these types of games. I've honestly gotten a lot more depth and dopamine from free games. If you have some extra cash and need a quick hit of dopamine, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, there's definitely other stuff out there. Hopefully, it gets some updates, maybe a little extra content or a progression tweak—who knows!Show moreShow less
First of all: If you're looking for a simple and fun game that's finished in just a few hours. You should totally try it out, but I have my reasons for not recommending the game: I enjoyed playing the game, but the reason I'm not recommending it is because its such a short game, you can beat it in an hour and it's not getting any updates while having some issues in balancing. I'd appreciate it a lot if the devs added more content, I personally don't like to keep buying new games over and over again just because the last one made money. Edit: Instead of adding maybe a (free) DLC or update, they're just releasing an entire "sequel" to the game. This just seems like greed to me. Very disappointing.Show moreShow less
Keep on Mining! is a fun addictive clicker game where you hover your mouse over a game board and mine ores. As you play and level up, you unlock all sorts of benefits, the unlocking system is a massive mine in itself. The goal of the game is to eventually craft the Diamond Pickaxe. I personally 100% the game in 4.5 hours. + Despite being a clicker type game, you don't have to click at all. You just have to hover your cursor over the area you want to mine and the game reaps the rewards for you. This is much easier on the wrists. + The unlocking tree system is enjoyable, lots of branches and different things to unlock. + Despite a million things happening on screen near the end of the game I experienced zero slowdown. + The game can be run on a potato. - The game is very repetitive. Solid clicker game to pass the time and relax. Overall: 8/10Show moreShow less
I don't think this game is bad and it definitely deserves its price yet I am ranking this game negatively as it has way too many weaknesses to recommend it 4 hours is what it took to 100% it btw The Mine, the one way to generate passive income is simply never worth investing a single penny. I understand if the game was a longer, more idle focused experience, but as it is, playing actively was more effective in every conceivable way. The artifacts were great, but considering you have a whole 2 talent slots dedicated to finding them, you'd expect there to be more to them. The talents themselves swing between amazing and awful, and considering just how big the gap between obtaining a new talent is, many felt insanely underwhelming, especially in late game. The D100 especially, I got a single roll in my 100 runs since I unlocked it, which checks out statistically, but it feels sad to grind levels for half an hour, for an ability that only triggered once. Maybe the 5x effect should be nerfed and more effects for other outcomes should be present. Generally, maybe the talents and artifacts system may have been better nerfed, yes this reduces the mechanical complexity of the game, but a single solid system feels better than 2 underbaked ones. The game had a perfectly slow beginning, a way too exciting middle and a very boring end. I feel like all the fun abilities, lightning, plasma, beams, dynamite, should have been spread out more between ores. So you unlock them more gradually and make the experience more exciting throughout the whole game. The way how all upgrades for the last 3 ores felt marginal, was a bit sad. "More Talent Points" should have been retroactive. I didn't even get to benefit from the last one at all, as I unlocked it so late, the next talent unlock was literal hours away and not worth it.Show moreShow less
Satisfying and addicting incremental progression loop for brain damaged people like me. Plus I love big talent trees. 7/10 needs more rocks.Show moreShow less
It starts off okay, but becomes very repetitive into the mid-game, and hits a cliff as it drags out toward the end. No notable mechanics to help it stand out in the genre.Show moreShow less
It took me 4.5 hours to complete. I had a lot of fun with it! Good job to the developer(s). There is an upgrade you get at almost the end of the game that was a game changer too! Getting new upgrades was such the dopamine hit. That's the point. Lots of fun.Show moreShow less
The game is short and reletively fun but the main reason im not recommending it is the end game grind. For the first few hours there is a good loop of getting meaningful upgrade you can feel, but then as you start getting into the second half the game you reach a point where all the requirements for upgrades get absurdly high and do basically nothing. I suspect this is the point where the developer realized their game was going to natrually end but wanted to extend play time to get past 2 hours. So you spend the rest of the game in this loop, of doing round after round to get upgrades just to "finish" the game, always kept right at that edge of hitting critical mass where you break the game. It doesnt mater how fun it is at first if the second half is just gonna leave a bad after taste.Show moreShow less
