I want to start off saying that I liked this game. I had been waiting for it for months, so I was super excited to play. The story line and missions are cute, the characters are likeable, but there are several things about it that simply make me want to say 'no'. It is incredibly glitchy, the physics of the body is just off, and like others have said: it is INCREDIBLY short. Painfully so. Amongst other things So yeah, the game is nice and cute, but not this expensive cute. If you get this game, make sure to get it with a BIG discount, because full price, is 100% not worth it, as much as it pains me to say. Maybe in a few months, once they fix a lot of the issues, my review will become moot, but in the meantime, I can't, in good conscience, recommend it.Show moreShow less

I was so excited for this game. I had it on my wishlist for almost a year I think- if not longer. It was incredibly cute- and I enjoyed the story. But, it only lasted me maybe 2 hours to get through the main story, 3-4 to find all the things to unlock. 4 hours of game play for a $22 game (got on sale) is not a great value for me. If it were less expensive I would have recommended it. But it just doesn't have the bang for your buck I appreciate.Show moreShow less

This game has GAME BREAKING BUGS and is VERY SHORT for the price. This game is beautifully crafted and carefully thought out, but it feels rushed. Despite the adorable atmosphere, it is rife with game-breaking bugs, most of which could be easily remedied by a novice programmer. I will list them below: - Inability to complete some missions (e.g., tennis balls cannot be picked up) - Cutscenes are ruined because of poor scripting (e.g., timing is off when meeting the raccoon, or teleportation outside of the trash can) - Graphical glitches in portals - Clipping through walls - Getting stuck in surfaces (thankfully, there is a button to remedy this in the settings) - Chameleon actually invisible in the park (ironic, as he says, "but you can see me!"). In fact, I happened upon him purely by accident. - Fan blowing the kitty across the map (physics issues) Additionally, the excellent gameplay encourages the player to explore and try to climb up to high places. Rewards like hats can be found, but these are very easy to reach, and I find myself able to climb/reach places I am probably not supposed to. This aspect of the gameplay reminds the player how small the world really is. There are no additional rewards or Easter eggs to be found in such locations. Also, I appreciate the gameplay dynamic of the fish, but the player doesn't need to collect all of them to complete the game. This is more an oversight than a glitch, though. This entirely makes the act of climbing feel more like a chore than it should be. The dialogue could use some UX refining. The conversation between Beetle and the other cat is far too long. Not to mention, you don't even see this other cat (weird, given her prominent role in the game). This appears rushed. Overall, this game is really fun and very cute, but shortcuts, lazy programming, and the limited nature of the world all take away from what would have otherwise been a gem. The fact that this game isn't in early access makes me think it was rushed for a cash grab. If I am wrong, please do some more UX testing and see what others think. A cute cat does not a good game make; that is a distraction.Show moreShow less
