They'll shoot you through walls, breach into your ship when it's already docked, they're out here running at mach 5, they're using unobtainable items, most of the top leaderboard is cheating with plenty of players posting obvious clips showing it, but devs still won't ban them. If you mention cheating in their discord they'll ban you there, players have also been banned in-game for commenting about cheaters in steam community posts. Could be a way better experience if the devs put some time into fixing all the exploits, which have been around since the game was open for pretesting, in August of 2022. They've known about these issues for 6 months now, but have done pretty much nothing other than adding Denuvo, which only helped for a few days.Show moreShow less

Got this because a Youtuber recommended it. I am no longer subscribed to their channel.Show moreShow less

The game was fun for a bit until I made the mistake of getting lucky and killing their top player in game, who also happens to be a cheater and also happens to be a game dev (according to the discord masses). I was banned the next morning without explanation and have received no response to my appeal for almost a week despite reaching out to multiple moderators. Great beginnings of a game, could really be something with some more development, but really low quality on support and professionalism. Back to Tarkov!Show moreShow less
It's like Tarkov but you don't need a PhD in weaponry to play itShow moreShow less
I really enjoyed this game throughout its first wipe in early access, took a break for awhile and after seeing the current state its in I felt compelled to leave this review. Marauders had a lot of potential, a light Tarkov-style experience that allowed for quick matches and offered a refreshing push-your-luck setup to raids, letting players go in as shallow or as deep as they'd like. Sadly, rather than continue to refine this gameloop in a way that retained this player agency and freedom they instead would rather force everyone to play like some twitch streamer who doesn't even think about extracting until everyone else is dead and everything not bolted down is in their backpack. Heaven forbid you just want to do a quick smash and grab and not play hide-and-seek with *Cult of Theta* Chad McLobbyWipe for ten minutes. I understand the goal is to drive PvP, but what makes PvP in extraction shooters so special is the variety of encounters one can find themselves in which comes directly from the freeform and open-ended nature of the gameloop. Restrict how players are allowed to engage with the gameloop and that all goes away. Force PvP all the time, the PvP stops being special. All you're left with at that point is CoD with a commute. Maybe that works if you're trying to cater to the clantag dunces who take pride in nothing more than topping the leaderboards of an obscure game only 900 odd people play regularly, but it certainly is not the approach that will lead to this game's success.Show moreShow less
- Board enemy player ship naked - Spam F1 - Steal their fire extinguishers - Evacuate ship - Sell extinguishers on market 10/10 would rat againShow moreShow less
The game itself is decent. Its like Tarkov in space but more simplified. However the game is apparently client sided and cheating is rampant. The first 2 days was doing great, but everyday there are more and more ESP/Aimbot cheaters. The Aus player pool is smaller than the rest, and there are specific named cheaters who have been abusing the game since several days, and they are still not banned. The report button does not work. Their forums are full of reports, and a simple google search will show you the level of cheating pandemic in this game.Show moreShow less
