EDIT: You can get a logitech G29 wheel working in the game and it is pretty fun but requires jumping through lots of hoops. Turn off steam controller configuration and you will be able to map your controls in game under the unknown device option. It wont let you navigate menus without a keyboard but you can use logitech G hub to map the buttons to the corresponding keyboard buttons making it work. Use G hub to turn down steering range to 200 or so degrees depending on preference and adjust sensitivity up to 50 or so to combat the deadzone. Far from an ideal solution but its very playable and fun with a wheel. For those saying "it's an arcade racing game, why use a wheel?" Umm have you ever been to an arcade or played an arcade racing game? They don't use gamepads, they have steering wheels and pedals. Wheels aren't just for sim racers. While it does play better with a gamepad and doesn't require a ton or tweaks and work-arounds, a good wheel really adds to the fun factor of this arcade racer since its on an arcade cab made for driving games. Original Review: EA has removed steering wheel support from this "remaster" despite the same wheel being supported in the original version. How do you add nothing of value and remove core features and call it a remaster? Refunded and went back to the OG version.Show moreShow less

I already own the 2010 game so i played the same stage for comparison. Apart from the introduction of graphic settings (antialiasing adds a lot), and a few environmental items, the game is exactly the same. It's a pity, i was expecting much more. I will request a refund. Update: I got a refund after 10 minutes gameplay but i bought the game again on Black Friday Sales for half the price. The game still has many problems, it crashes every time i try to quit, and they still haven't patched it.Show moreShow less

My father diagnosed cancer about 2 years ago. It was so hard for him and our family. Depression was part of our daily life. Suddenly i remembered back in early 2000s we were playing NFS 4. I immediately started searching for latest racing games. Most of them was open world style which is so confusing for my father. Eventually i got this game and my dad loved it. He loved wrecking cops and he was laughing out loud as ♥♥♥♥ while doing it. When i got home from work everyday he was playing this game with my pc and i was watching him everyday. I lost him about a month ago. Pain is still here and always will be but remembering him while laughing is relieving. I just want to thank you the developers who made this game. YOU sir you made my father happy. It means a lot. Thank you. I still remember him rotating that ps1 gamepad while steering left to right, right to left. Life is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.Show moreShow less

Exact same game as the original. Slightly improved graphics. FRAME RATE CAPPED. It has been 10 years since its original launch, and its like they haven't considered any of the innovation that has happened since then. All of this could have been done by releasing the DLC and a high res texture pack for the original. Not worth its current price.Show moreShow less

As someone who owned HP2010 on PC originally, this remaster is extremely welcome. Pros: All DLC that never made it to PC is included Improved visuals Multiplayer is revived and has crossplay Improved car color picker with custom options (it has RGB values you can select!) The cars sound incredible; Forza and Gran Turismo, eat your heart out Cons: 3 "missing" cars (Carbon Motors E7, Stirling Moss SLR McLarens) 60FPS hard cap No wheel support Caveats: Carbon Motors went bankrupt, so there's no way to license that vehicle. Additionally, Stirling Moss died earlier this year, and I doubt his estate is licensing vehicles with his name for use anywhere right now I'm betting the 60FPS cap is due to FPS-bound physics; this was an issue with newer NFS titles, as well Nobody seems to remember that HP2010 originally shipped with either no wheel support, or it was extremely lacking. This was later remedied. With all that out of the way, would I recommend this game? Yes. Is it worth $30 USD? Probably, but that's your choice. I know I pre-ordered it because HP2010 was the last NFS I actually played, and I don't regret the purchase at all.Show moreShow less

Every other time I try to launch the game, it turns into a troubleshooting session. Sometimes I only have 15 minutes to play, and instead I spend that time restarting the EA app, clearing its cache, and trying to figure out why the game refuses to launch through Steam again. The game itself is fine. The real problem is the terrible Steam + EA app integration. You buy the game on Steam, but you are still forced to rely on an extra launcher that frequently breaks and fails at its only job: launching the game. A constant source of frustration and easily the worst game-launching experience I have ever had.Show moreShow less
