I saw this game and though "Oh wow, Need for Speed Most Wanted! I loved playing this game as a kid on my PS2!" I bought the game, installed the game, realised the graphics looked a bit different. Thinking, "hmm... perhaps they also remastered it a bit as they ported it to PC...". I go through the tutorial, get to free roam, drive directly onto a road that suddenly has a big border of red X'es across. I drive into it, and it prompts me to buy a DLC to drive into this area. I alt + f4 and request a refund.Show moreShow less
playing this game after 8 years on ultra settings remembering the happiness days when we just sit on the PS3 after a long day on school without any life problems... nostalgia 10/10Show moreShow less
Great game, slimy publishers - They've not bothered to code an overlay for controller inputs so you have to guess what button does what and cannot remap them, - There is no config file to change settings - The "dlc" content is pre-existing base game content that has been sliced out of the game and locked behind a paywall. - You can own the game on steam but still have to launch it through origin Please don't support these slimy business tacticsShow moreShow less

Kinda ironic to see the famous E46 BMW M3 GTR being locked behind a $20 DLC while this car is literally *the* icon of the Most Wanted series. Yeah EA, you suck.Show moreShow less
This is not the game from 2005, it's the 2012 version. stop leaving bad reviews because you couldn't be bothered to check what game you were buying. Although too be fair steam needs to fix it's release date for games like this that hasn't been on steam until now.Show moreShow less
Nope this is not the Need for Speed Most Wanted from 2005. Nope this is not a remake/remaster either. This is some poor offspring child left to explore the world on its own, pure cashgrab. You have no garage to swap between cars or upgrade them. You have to drive around and look for parked ones to switch them and tuning works in game by pausing, but its very poorly done, there is no freedom, you literally switch between few options and those options must be unlocked first by finishing some races. Your car can suffer from crashing into other cars or terrain to a point where it gives you a black screen and resets and boom you are ready to go or you can drive through a gas station to fix your car and change your color. On top of that, half the cars you see are microtransactions, therefore, pay up or ignore. The only good thing about this game is the day and night cycle. But I didnt buy a racing game to look at the sunset did I?Show moreShow less
Not bad but I prefer NFSMW (2005) and I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up. /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__) \二つShow moreShow less
Remember the original? Starting off with slow cars, customizing them visually and tuning them to their limit? This is NOT that. I've never played a game which fueld so much anger while playing it. - No progression - Find a car, drive a car - generic upgrades through races - 6 races per car !? - be constantly reminded that you do not own all the dlc's by finding dlc exclusive cars, regions and races and press Y to open the store - Crash constantly without being able to prevent that - Watch crash cam's which look boring as hell and steal each time 4 seconds of your life. - Drift your way through the world without any ability to fine manouver your way through obstacles, Hit or miss (Take this with a grain of salt, I usually play Rally games without assists. - No story what so ever. "Here is a flashy 20 second cutscene which introduces a most wanted car" thats it. - You get voice lines at the start of the game and at the end for a total of 1 minute of story. - All cars drive like maniacs. Crashing is certainly not as fatal as i thought. - Rubber band AI anyone? I finished MOST WANTED 1 with 4 busted tires and came in first. If you can only drive 215 km/h, so can the enemy with totally fine tires. This game is one of my absolute worst purchases in the last decade. I have no idea why EA is still alive with crappy games like these.Show moreShow less
