NEKOPARA Vol. 1 is a visual novel about Kashou Minaduki, who leaves home to open his own patisserie, La Soleil. Among his belongings are Chocola and Vanilla, two catgirls raised by his family; they plead to stay and end up helping him at the shop. After a little tinkering got R18 version up and running, so i will spend holidays shagging drawn virtual anthropomorphic cats, and only God can judge me. Now let's get serious. If you're on this game's store page, you already know what you're looking for. If by mistake you stumbled upon this and don't know what to do, i will explain: 1)This is an eroge, which means it's a picture book with music and drawn porn disguised as a game, where you "play" as self-insert main dude and swim in ♥♥♥♥♥♥. 2)Steam version have porn removed. Apparently game about having your own bakery with harem of submissive catgirls made by hentai artist is also suitable for children, so god forbid they see any adult content. 3)With a clever use of hands and internet you can still enable it 4)There's a slider that regulates how bouncy boobs can be: from "british royal guard" to "screw physics, full Gainax" mode. 5)There's 3 languages avaliable: english and two types of extraterrestial doodles. 6)You get Steam achiviements if you play it with extraterrestial doodles. 7)Art looks good if you're a fan of generic anniemays. 8)Actually animated. 9)In Russia it's possible to end up doing time for playing this. 10)Music is upbeat and voice acting is... ugh... 11)There's also apparently some kind of story. 12)Stuff like this stops me from reading serious vns. 13)There's nothing wrong and shameful in playing this. 14)Really. If you ask me why should you buy something like this on Steam - hell if i know. I have no idea why its here in the first place. It’s truly a dark day for humanity when a man has to pay money for game with promised nudity and feline fellatio only to find out that all of the nudity and pus*y pus*ies are behind another $10 paywall. It is an insult to my very sense of perversion that Steam and Nekopara think they can take advantage of my gruesome desperation with false labels and promises only to give me the ol’ masterbait and switch. Here I am wasting my time downloading a game, listening to “~nya~” every two seconds, about to tear my hair out only to find out that the game I downloaded, the game I purchased for the sole reason of committing digital bestiality, is actually a hollow shell of what I was promised. I don’t even want my money back, Valve. You can keep your filthy money, at least one of us gets to get off that way. I have to type this review with one hand since the other is icing my blue balls. All I wanted to do was take a calm evening after a long day of work and f**k some cats. Is that too much to ask!? I don’t think so. I’m a humble man, a man of God. I don’t think I was asking for too much here. Not the actual full version of the game! If you like games with deleted content and scenes that have been stitched together when really you're looking for the actual 18+ game don't bother buying this here! Look else where on the internet for it. When I buy a game I want to play it as intended not some butchered half ass stitched together frankenstein piece of ♥♥♥♥. The cat girls were cute, but the developers overdid the "childlike innocence" and instead it came across as the cat girls literally having the mind of an 8 year old. Unless you are a pedophile, that's most likely not a turn on. I personally wasn't particularly interested in the sex parts and thought it would be cool to play it for the story as the cat girls were adorable and the art style is very beautiful. Sadly, the story sucks and is bland, there is nothing really going on. Spoilers: You are a guy opening up a cafe, your sister's 2 cat girls mailed themselves to your cafe, you end up setting them up with their own room. You go shopping together and do mundane boring things as well as eat takoyaki while the cat girls act like children. It is really very boring and given that this eventually wanted to lead to sexual stuff, I think they made it very unappealing. Even as a porno this fails because you would have to scroll through huge walls of text to get to any sex parts. If you like boring visual novels with girlchildren "love interests" and no plot, sure, you'll love it. If you were expecting some kind of story? Nah. Not worth the money.Show moreShow less
