This game perfectly scratches that co-op puzzle itch we all get from time to time. It's got a great breakdown of puzzles that require communication and synergy between you and your partner. The artstyle is fun and perfect for the mood of the game. So why am I not recommending this game? We beat it in 2 hours. There's simply not enough here to leave you satisfied. A real shame.Show moreShow less
Thank you Clever Plays for the friend pass system. Other devs *please* take this approach going forward. I want to play your indie 2 player coop game, but convincing another player to buy a game just so they can play it with you is frequently a deal breaker. Operation Tango is good evening's worth of entertainment, but it is just that. The game is short, it took me about 45 mins per mission and there are 6 missions. There is no replay value here, it's a one and done deal. However, for your money, you are getting a fun, stylish asymmetric coop puzzle game, dense with variety and invention. The game throws a new mini puzzle at you every few seconds with minimal repetition. The focus is on keeping forward momentum going and minimising frustration, so the puzzles are relatively easy and checkpoints are plentiful. If Clever Plays continue this format with a sequel or DLC I will be back.Show moreShow less
Puzzles are well designed, but the game was MUCH shorter than expected.Show moreShow less

The game was so fun but it really needs a LAN mode. I really really love when there is 500ms ping between my wife and me in the same room /sShow moreShow less
This game caused me to get a divorce.Show moreShow less
A friend got this for me sometime after the game came out. The first 4 levels were fun! Then a known bug hit us that's been in the game since launch. The only way around is to use their workaround and skip levels, but all level that have lockpicking for us at this point just bugged out and kick us. We ended up uninstalling since we were at the end of the game. I sadly cannot really recommend it despite being fun. It has game breaking bugs with only work arounds that skip whole levels and not actual fixes. There's a whole forum where people were talking to the devs about it. I guess it's no surprise the bug is still in the game. We followed everything we were supposed to do to try and fix it, but oh well.Show moreShow less
I'm doing my due diligence to tell both the devs and gamers that this was a REALLY good time--I only wish there were more of it. This is possibly one of my favorite co-op games of this genre. While the solutions to the puzzles aren't terribly difficult in themselves, the bulk of the challenge and fun comes from your attempts to relay valuable information and convey nonsense symbols, sometimes in a timely manner. There's something so incredibly gratifying when you and your partner are trying to figure out exactly how to get something done, and then something clicks in your head--"wait, that thing you said? I actually need that. Oh, you need help getting into that room? I can help you with that." There were moments that felt like we were going through the escape rooms of the "We Were Here" series and others that had the same intensity as "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes". If you loved those games or just plain co op games, I think you'll find something to love in Operation: Tango. At the time of writing, my friend and I have put in 3.8 hours, having completed 1 run-through, and we plan on replaying the campaign again with the roles reversed. $20 bucks for 3.5 to 4 hours might sound a bit steep, but the devs were kind enough to offer a Friend Pass so you really only need one copy between 2 players. That being said, the devs have said they'd make more missions depending on the demand of the community. So I'll end this review by saying that this was a solid time and PLEASE MAKE MORE MISSIONS AND DLC!!! [EDIT]: THEY ADDED FREE DLC!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 experience. The agent x hacker fanfics practically write themselves.Show moreShow less
Not a bad game. Creative and fun. Just way tooo short. Only like 3-4 hours of gameplay.Show moreShow less
