This is one of the best fast paced shooter games out there. Flows very well, already played some 12h+ with my friends and gunplay is fun, dare I say more fun than something like Apex Legends... So then why the negative review? Game has a quite a number of restrictions and oversights that I feel like could be simply resolved with a few hours worth of work simply changing some number in the game files and enabling some stuff. For example, game can be played with both m&k and a controller, however even though a controller is fully supported, it doesn't get a crosshair. Have to download a mod to fix that No way to change how many rounds you want to play. Have to download a mod to fix that No way to change what sort of game mode people want. FFA? 2v2? 3v1? etc... Nope, you get stuck with 1 gamemode, being 1v1. Have to download a mod to fix that No way to change characteristics of a game, such as how many cards/mutations a player can pick, only allowed 1 per loss. Have to download a mod to fix that And many more issues... Additionally, MP in this game is pretty much unplayable. Feels like it uses a p2p system, so you're at the mercy of the hosts connections. Because of this, 7/10 games will have insane delay, at least half a second to a second. This is especially bad for a game where each frame counts. And how do the devs address these concerns/oversights? Radio silence. I don't see them posting anything and the community has pretty much accepted that the game's simply a release and dump type of game. If you have a problem just pray that there's a mod out there that solves your issues. That's pretty much it. If you're happy with what you're seeing, which is a 1v1 game limited to 5 rounds, don't expect and are happy even if the devs never again release an update for this game, yes it's for you 100%. Sadly, I feel like this game is a tad bit rushed and has a ton of potential that the developers have for some reason left out, even though it would add a ton of content for not much work.Show moreShow less

TLDR: It's so unoptimized you need a AAA computer to run mobile game graphics... Fun game otherwise; This game is unoptimized. My computer is lower end, and I bought this expecting it to run on a potato. It doesn't. They need to optimize the game and add options to disable unneccessary "flare" for players with a lower-end computers. Looks like it'd be a good game if I wasn't dealing with some major hiccups. Update: I bought a custom built PC that can handle Elden Rings with no difficulties. This game STILL has technical difficulties... However, my PC can brute force this game. The game's fun, but still needs some major polish. It is fun, but still somehow crashes. You need a PC capable of handling AAA games in order to be able to brute force this game, and even then some builds can cause it to break.Show moreShow less

So, the FINAL REVIEW EDIT after so many hours of playing this game. Landfall makes fun games, I'm going to give this to them, they really got the recipe right for quick paced short game formats. but... THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT FINISHING THEM, they just release a half-assed games that are barely functional. - BAD CODE that ruins the game (The effect of Grow is client-side and connected to your FPS, so if you have a slow PC at 20 FPS, Grow will nuke the entire map while on 120 FPS you barely notice its effect) - BAD CONNECTIVITY (also, peer to peer, which is very unsafe, a mediocre hacker can cause serious damage to your PC through peer to peer connection as well as getting your info) - THEY STOP RELEASING FIX PATCHES shortly after they release the game. (the game is still riddles with bugs and they haven't released a patch in 8 months, which is the same thing they did for Stick Fight) As you can see from my play time, I think this game is really fun, really good for playing during breaks from work/studying. But it's so frustrating seeing this company making money off initial hype and then just dropping their projects as soon as they're not trending anymore. This applies to both Rounds and Stick Fight The Game. This really shows how disloyal Landfall is to its player base.Show moreShow less
