Let me start by saying that this game is awesome, I love the idea of an Idle game that you can leave on the side or bottom of your screen, it functions well. The pixel art and animations are great, the idea of an Idle Farming Simulator is a dope idea in general and I think for the most part this game has been executed well. However, at this point in time I cannot give it a positive review because at only 22 hours into the game I had already completed it. As someone that has played a good amount of Idle games I was pretty confused at this point. It had me questioning if that was truly it and I was kind of stumped, no more content, I'm just expected to restart a new farm? I've never played an Idle game that's taken this little of time to complete. After completion there's not much to do apart from watch your money go up and collect poop to fertilise crops. So it's kinda left me feeling like I've paid for SOME decent hours of Idle game play, but after that I'm pretty much just dealing with a quarter of an animated wallpaper that sits on my screen... I tried looking for a road map for the game because I was genuinely confused due to its shortness, however I couldn't find anything. I'd love to see more content being rolled out for the game in the near future and I'll make sure to keep an eye out to delete my review if this game does receive updates. For now though it does more or less feel like the end product is an animated wallpaper and that the game maybe should be in Early Access, however at the end of the day this is just my opinion.Show moreShow less
Great game to farm while I farm on Stardew while also farming in Palia, while also farming in Harvest Moon.Show moreShow less
Game is pretty much completely done after 3 days, which is very short for an idle game. Game systems abruptly end and have nothing else to do so no more progression (nothing to do with all your money, nothing to do with excess collected poop, etc.). I only left it running for the achievements. No appeal to start a new farm (new farms just have obstacles to make your life harder but since there's no end-game progression then it's just simply new farms to make your life harder).Show moreShow less
This was a mistake. I cant get anything done now 10/10Show moreShow less
Some overwhelmingly positive games on steam make sense, some don't. This is definitely one of the later. That said, the game is fine. If you want a game to sit in the background while you do other stuff, then it's great for that. The biggest issue is that over a couple of days and 4 or 5 hours of active playtime at most, you've done everything there is to do. You've unlocked everything, built everything, done it all. You have maps left to unlock but that's just different scenery - you build the same things, in the same order and unlock the same stuff, in the same order with nothing new whatsoever. There's nothing incremental, no new game+ system, nothing at all you would expect in current idle games. If you want a pixel art style game to run in the background for a couple of days before you move on. you could do a lot worse. If you want an idle game that will last longer than a few days, you could do a lot better. /edit Quite a few silly sausages have felt the need to leave comments on 70+ hours playtime and how it must be amazing value because of that. To be clear, I left the game open for ~3 days - it's an idle game. Actual time interacting with the game was maybe 4 or 5 hours at most, half of that was on different maps to see if anything else opens up - it turns out it doesn't. Even leaving it running overnight has no real benefit, there's no point having more money or more flowers or anything - there's nothing to do with any of it.Show moreShow less

Not super pleased with this. It might be launch teething so I won't refund because it was so cheap, but I didn't go into this game expecting this and it fails to live up to what I wanted from the game. Please note I have 100%'d cookie clicker, and I'm 4,000 hours into a ngu idle playthrough and on my 4th :the longing: playthrough. I've also 100%'d Stardew, so that's the kind of player going into this review. I'll quickly run down all the cons. -Very thrown in the deep end with little shown or explained, which can be fine but I prefer that not on my idle game where my unknown mistakes cost me 10+ hours. -Weird "Idle" mechanics - I left my PC on playing this game, but nothing happened in the game and the game itself was actually stopped and my minutes played halted. Which isn't exactly nice to hear in terms of a primarily idle game. (Changed after I wrote this review - not sure if that's a steam error or a them error but my point about active idle games stands) -Very slow start on top of that, which adds to the "what is happening" frustrations. I can do slow games, but I can't do aimless. -One of the biggest cons for me: Game is a side-bar ONLY game. You cannot play this as a small screen, it is a sliver of a bar that either takes up the bottom of your screen or the right of it, and WILL go over your taskbar. I have two monitors, and this is still incredibly frustrating and in the way. One of the most important things for me in an idle game is the game's presence amongst my other apps and for getting in the way, and this does it in spades with no options to change that orientation. It's not what I wanted going in and it's wild there's no option. -Speaking of presence, it runs like hot garbage. It makes everything lag an absurd amount and I can run BG3 of ultra/full graphics. I just got a new PC - I should be able to run this. But it crashes like crazy. Cannot see this actually working during a twitch stream with the integration without majorly compromising your frame rates (also the pixel art completely kills your bit rate since you can't adjust window settings) -Also adding to the play time, it's not fully idle. Some might not mind that, but some might. I personally don't like a game that needs such maintenance from it. I had to replant stuff in the time it took to write this review. All in all, super disappointing - especially for the price point as this isn't "cheap" in the world of idle games. I might come back to it when it's better, but for now I'm not in the habit of playing aimless bloatware that crashes my PC and forces itself to the top of my desktop. There's better idle games out there and I'm happy to wait for a more competent farm idle game than force myself through this.Show moreShow less
Now this is ADHD-GAMING. It's actually very cute and as someone with ADHD who spends a lot of time studying/working from home, it's pleasant and unobtrusive enough to be a nice little dopamine hit between tasks. I prefer to keep it on "focus mode" (doubles time to grow crops) and leave it on my second screen. It doesn't call my attention away from more important things, and helps keep me from getting too frustrated at my work. Unlike other games I've tried to play in my short breaks, I don't feel at risk of spending more time than I expect to here. The visuals are cute, the progression is simple but engaging, and I like the music. Plenty of options to run it vertically, horizontally, smaller, larger, etc. It's all smartly made and does what it says on the tin. It's just nice. I like it.Show moreShow less
Nothing to this game at all really. Set everything up, then wait...a lot. I don't see an overwhelmingly positive in this at all, not even a positive. Just another electricity waste. Also, it takes up enough resources to slow your entire machine down. I'm running it on an I9-12900K with 64GB of DDR5 and a 3090ti. It makes Steam, Chrome, and everything else very sluggish.Show moreShow less
