On one hand, it's kinda boring. But on the other, it's stupidly short. Cute art, for sure, but there were free flash games with more depth than this one.Show moreShow less

Follow my curator page for more reviews! I really wanted to like this. It has a cute artstyle, nice music.. but that's about it. I feel like I'm missing something here with how it has an Overwhelmingly Positive score, but it was just way too repetitive to me. What you're doing in the first minute of the game is what you're still doing 2 hours in, with no new interesting mechanics being introduced. You just shoot the bubble gun at jellyfish, and the definitely-not-a-Plasma-Cutter-from-Dead-Space at cubes of scrap/junk. The majority of upgrades in the game are just the usual mundane damage/speed increases, but the cost of upgrades jumps up so dramatically and frequently, along with the health of jellyfish/scrap, so progression ends up feeling slow and boring, like you're never getting anywhere. There aren't really any fun special upgrades by the 2 hour point, other than the ability to recharge your oxygen so that mechanic is pretty much removed from the game, and you can get a little starfish companion that sits stationary in the area and fires at jellyfish slowly. That was so far the only "passive" upgrade I'd gotten. I'm surprised there isn't an upgrade to automatically collect your money from the shop, because that got old quick. I thought there was still quite a lot of game left to go, but based on most of the other reviews it sounds like I've only got an hour or two left in it, so I don't think anything is going to dramatically change in that time.Show moreShow less
Such a satisfying incremental game. The upgrades all felt meaningful. Progress was smooth. The gameplay loop was addicting. It's stressless without being boring. The art style is adorable and the music is good. Honestly, there's not much to complain about here. This is an extremely fun little game.Show moreShow less
It's fun, but be warned, this game has around 3 hours of gameplay. For 5 bucks, a bit eh. This is more like a 1-2 dollar game.Show moreShow less
This game is made with LOVE Short but very fun, can be done in one nightShow moreShow less
Having to wait for jellyfish to be sold adds nothing to the game.Show moreShow less
A short, sweet, and immensely satisfying incremental game about helping an old turtle go back to bed by selling jellyfish. Great art, an addictive gameplay loop, and perfect for a cozy night!Show moreShow less
Pro's- Cute aesthetics, skill tree design is enjoyable. Con's - Not enough variety in gameplay. Gets very repetitive very quickly. Would love different things to do around the main island, interaction with different characters, something else to do with the foraged items.Show moreShow less
