Jank and feels really bad to play. Inputs are inconsistent, it isn't fast enough, voice acting and writing is atrocious. I want a snowboarding game with a good sense of speed and weight, not what may as well be Totally Accurate Snowboarding.Show moreShow less
Skater XL in the winter, Shredders in the summer.Show moreShow less
The controls are very unintuitive to the point of not being fun.Show moreShow less
Awesome game, very realistic...beats STEEP by a long shot. Just for the sake of realism, I wish they would add in snowboarding NPC's and a functional ski lift system that gives you the option to stay on for the ride, skip, or jump off at any point. Still an amazing game though!Show moreShow less
Overall the game is fun but VERY buggy. Might be best to wait until some patches. The other complaints I have are that the physics feel extremely floaty. They were so close to making a somewhat realistic snowboarding game and then decided to turn on moon gravity. All the dialogue is also very bad. Super over the top voice acting with cringe inducing "snowboard talk". Devs feel very out of touch with actual snowboarding.Show moreShow less
Best Snowboarding game since Amped 2 on original XboxShow moreShow less
Do not buy his game. It’s not the snowboard game we’ve all been dying for. I honestly bought “The Snowboard Game” last week in anticipation for this game and it is INFINITELY better than Shredders. This game is more like a bad middle ground between steep and a skate style game. Physics are extremely floaty and controls are just not nearly as good as The Snowboard Game. 4/10Show moreShow less
Finally! I've been waiting for a good snowboarding game since Amped on original XBox and this is even better. I always dreamed of a snowboard game with controls like 'Skate' and this is it. I haven't played much yet, but the controls are so good it definitely feels like a game you could chill out and free ride for hours and have fun.Show moreShow less
Believe it or not, I love this game. I put this game on to relax, and I think it's a really great snowboarding game. I'm actually playing it right now as I write this review. The reason why I can't recommend this game right now is that the devs have been radio silent. The game hasn't received a patch since June and hasn't received new content since March when they put out a new spot (one new slopestyle course and two hills-ish next to it). I get that for disc based games, you pay the money and you get what you get. This is not that. This is a game in 2023 that, while having story missions that are genuinely fun, relies heavily on multiplayer to stay active. And the devs are active on Instagram and say they're "cooking" as of a few weeks ago. But with the last content update being in March, even with whatever they're gonna roll out god knows when, I do not think this game should be priced at $30. TLDR: game is good, game needs more content, game is too expensive for the amount of updates it hasShow moreShow less
