Overall Score: 8.4 / 10 Quality7.7/10 Decent (South Park Studios) Performance 8/10Runs smoothly; hardly recognizable lag / stuttering during side-scrolling; tabbing out often results in a crash; no frame drops; smooth in 4k aswell Utility 8/10No bugs experienced; Windows only; needs Uplay (requires a third party account but automatically starts, if you launch the game via Steam); glitches may occur when skipping some FMVs; fixable via re-loading Controls7/10Decent controls with the pad; rather uninspired control scheme; feels like a lazy console port: kb+m sucks! No possibility to control the camera, which can limit the combat-screen Gameplay8.5/10 Turn-based 2.5D comedy RPG Challenge 8/10Rather simple strategic combat; too easy overall, but satisfying on the highest combat difficulty (4 grades) Content 8/10~12h+ per run without collectables; +10h if you wanna see everything; contains loads of lovely details, but no endcontent and few side quests Diversity9/10Turn-based combat, exploration and simple mini-games; many costumes, skills & potential party members to choose from; repetitive collectables; a few unskippable repetitive scripts Immersion9/10Immersive, fun, straightforward story; barely had to waste time for anything in the menus; a casual-friendly JRPG without the usual complexity & grind Design 9/10 Matt & Trey strike again! Visuals9/10No AAA graphics, but the simple and appealing visual style we all know; hand-crafted with love to detail by a small team, just like the TV series Sound10/10Original South Park voice-overs; full localization; context-dependent voice overs for enemies & side characters; well polished and fitting SFX + OST; 7 alt. language packs (EU version) Texts10/10Socially critical & political satire, that mirrors the zeitgeist perfectly; filled to the brim with good jokes & dialogues Mapping8/10An authentic virtual simulation of the cartoon city of South Park, but the mapping often felt a bit too generic Interface 8/10Neat, customizable in-game menus and UI (minor flaws); annoying ads for the "Ushop" etc in the main menu ❓ Many references for South Park viewers only! 🕗 Wait for a sale! Day one DLC Uplay account is mandatory Nonsensical and paranoid 3rd party DRM Microtransactions/uPlay coins (Via Upselling you Ubisoft games and forcing you to use their mediocre service) More than enough game breaking bugs at launch Stuttering and audio glitches! Story quests locked behind a paywall, shame on you if you didn't buy Season Pass Did I mention upselling you Ubisoft game and Uplay? Keeping in DRM even after a crack Season pass I bought the deluxe edition and I got all this and cancer, wowee I am so lucky! I am throughly enjoying getting screwed sideways. 10/10 would get screwed over again. Kvetching never stops Shills are madShow moreShow less

Anyone giving the game a bad rating because of a black screen when starting the game. Press (ALT+Enter) It fixes the problem for majority of people. The game right now has a problem with Fullscreen and this solution puts it in Windowed Mode. So far the game is amazing! Just need to fix Fullscreen setting!Show moreShow less

My name is Craig Tucker. Last week was my birthday, my grandma gave me a check for 100 dollars. I was so happy. But then, 4 kids from my school came to my house, and said I should use my 100 dollars to invest in becoming a Peruvian flute band. they promised I would double my money in one afternoon. But the government arrested us, along with all the other Peruvian flute bands, and took us to an internment camp in Miami. We begged to go home, but instead the government told us they were sending us to Peru. And so that is why I'm now in Peru. if I die let it be known it is because of 4 guys I don't even like from my school lied to me and took my birthday money.Show moreShow less

This is my first ever Steam refund. The fact that Ubisoft requires you to use Uplay to play this game is a complete joke. I refuse to use two platforms to play one game. Nevermind the fact that I don't want Ubisoft's crap application on my computer. The game would not start and had only a black screen. I am aware that you can bypass this, but if you expect me to spend $60 and be OK with a bunch of things I am unhappy with, then you have to be joking. Plus, I had to go look at all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reviews just to find this out. Lol. DLC on Day 1 is a big slap in the face. I know what's coming. I am going to spare myself by returning you now so that I don't waste money. *** DO NOT BUY ***Show moreShow less
