I am dev. Most of the time, when working on this game, I use the game. Infinite productivity unlockedShow moreShow less
I sat on this review for days as I hate leaving any negative reviews. Ultimately, I had to post this. I'll start with the positives: - The art style is cute and the models are solid. I love the inclusion of animal horns and the like. - Homework radio is a great YT channel, so having their music as default is perfect, however I wish there was more variety. - The spirits are cute. Now the negatives: - If you're going to have larger sizes in a game...make it actually apparent. My skinny character just got a pot belly and widened slightly, which looked a bit odd and not how someone would actually look. - Please allow us to shuffle all songs. I heard the same song about 3 or 4 times in the space of an hour because it limits to one playlist. And the big one: If you're going to have a productivity tool that you want to gameify, don't just give up on content after approximately 20 hours of useage and plonk a few level achievements at the end. The actual usage of this tool was lost as soon as the last spirit was found (which for me was about 15-20 hours in). The rest of the game is just cranking up hundreds of hours to get the final 3 achievements. I have a friend and he sat the game idling for days (refreshing each day to get the bonus exp) in order to get the level 50 achievement (approximately 245 hours). What is keeping me using the app if I have nothing to really engage me in those last 230 hours? Instead of sitting this game open, using cpu, I could just put a free lo-fi radio playlist or radio station on in the background and have a checklist and pomodoro timer on my phone, all free tools. I feel like the final 3 achievements were just slapped there as an afterthought to get people using the game more. Does the cuteness of the art style really justify the price for things that are readily free? Yes, it compiles them into one program, but is that program worth it? In my opinion, no. I feel terrible writing this review, but I feel like these are things a lot of reviewers aren't talking about. UPDATE: I wanted to see exactly how long it would take to unlock all the furniture, spirit colours and clothing items. I've now clocked over 270 hours and I've only unlocked the furniture and about half the spirit colours. I'm now going to give up on this because it's not worth trying to 100% it more than just getting the achievements. I'm not event using it for its intention at this point, i set it going and go downstairs to actually work with proper time management tools.Show moreShow less
Absolutely cozy game experience, you often see youtube videos with anime girls chilling somewhere and listen to lofi playlists. In this game you can choose yourself, where, what and who you want to be, and what to listen to, and all of that with a cute little pet by your side you choose! You can level up and get more pets, set timers, get tasks done. Great game for lofi lovers.Show moreShow less
lovely concept and amazing art/music choices glad to see the overwhelming feedback, but currently can't recommend this myself. it should be a great background application but it just drains all CPU+GPU powerShow moreShow less

Very disappointing news, they're removing every last song and replacing it. Worst of all, their answer is to listen to youtube/spotify ads to hear the songs that were originally included. --- Update: The music is here to stay... for now. It's been renewed for 3yr, but thats just kicking the can down the road. They talk about the trust they've built being easily undone. yeah that will happen when you plan to delete something people loved. They claim these as false accusations, but lets break it down. -Deceptive: Homework Radio was advertised on the page and trailer, nowhere did it state it was temporary, and its completely unreasonable to expect it to be. They have removed this branding but you can still see it using Wayback. -Selling out: selling your company (part or whole) and having the product change drastically because of it. -Acting in bad faith: Same as being deceptive. They claim to work with the community at heart, but do they really think this is what we wanted. They try to make it sound like its normal for music licenses. but i cant think of another game where the entire soundtrack was deleted (probably was some but doubt it went over well either) point is its exceptionally rare. Some may say "what's there to complain about they reverted their decision" The question is why? Was it because they care or because it affects their image and ultimately their revenue, more then they thought it would.Show moreShow less
Love this program. So many lovely sound effects to ease your mind. Only one note so let me write below. If the developers read this: Please add cat purring sound to the sounds menu. This one I am really missing.Show moreShow less
The developer of this was bought out and the new owners have decided to remove content we all paid for rather than license the impacted music tracks from a competitor. That's just lame, all the damage control excuses being made really don't cut it so have fun with the negative review guys, you earned it.Show moreShow less
