The game starts off okay, but by the 2 hour mark it completely devolves into an afk simulator, there are finite resource nodes on the map, making the amount of throughput finite and the demands to progress each milestone get progressively more absurd, the point it takes ten hours sitting afk to finish them. The last ore in the game is particularly absurd as there are only five nodes on the entire map, and each one takes 200 seconds to produce one ore piece, and a bar requires three. And you need 40 bars. And then it just...ends, with a grand total of four resources, six different buildings and one drill. This can barely be called automation. Money is irrelevant, decoration system is pointless, the companion robots are less than useless and the levelling and exp system is so utterly vapid that by the end of the game I had 76 unspent skill points. There is absolutely not enough game here to justify its price.Show moreShow less
Fun for the most part, but once you get past the first three tiers it's basically just an idle game. The amount of money you make compared to what you need is ridiculously small. It's just leaving the game open for hours on end waiting for stock to build up so that you can sell, and the last tier of items is somehow worth basically nothing, and really only used to beat the game. Pretty sure they just wanted to inflate the average amount of hours on Steam with this choice. Would've been better if they just kept the upgrades scaling the way did early on. Still amusing enough for the price point.Show moreShow less
You see various types of ores being extracted in different environments. Nah. You just mine in a tiny space station with a few rooms. Your gameplay is restrictively bound to a linear story. No freedom of choice. You cannot set up automation that would let you scale up faster. There is no room in the game for player decisions, wise or stupid. I see a wasted potential and certainly do not recommend it.Show moreShow less
Now that I've earned all the achievements in the game... I played the demo first and wasn't 100% convinced. In the end, I bought it because it wasn't too expensive and – most importantly! – it was finally a game that was being released in its entirety and not in early access. That's rare these days. You land on a planet that has been more or less contaminated, and you have to clean it up by mining. You can upgrade the laser, which allows you to remove stronger rocks, etc. You can find a total of 15 small robots Erfis that you can assign to collect materials, fill machines or sell items. And most importantly, you should definitely build transport routes. Lots of them. It's needed, if you want to progress a bit faster. All in all, I had a lot of fun with the game and can recommend it. To the developers: a DLC with additional content (new planet, other ores, etc.) would be nice.Show moreShow less
Imagine if the tutorial for Satisfactory was twenty times longer, and then when it ended the game was over. You can't do complex logistics, you can't automate things without "leveling them up" first with a lot of mandatory and boring work, there's very little plot or exploration to speak of. When I got to the last item needed to finish the game I was still just brute-forcing it by "hand" because there was no point trying to set up the needed supply lines and level up the machines to do it automatically. Is it a terrible game? Not really, it's playable if you're fine doing a lot of boring stuff most of the time. But it's like a $5 game, not a $20 one.Show moreShow less
A fun little game about increasing the production and money per minute earned by building more and more efficient production chains of ore/ingots etc. It's quite addicting. There is however one huge downside to the game which really annoys me: The AI of your robot helpers You unlock these helpers which can take over several jobs, However most likely you will only need two types: seller (two of them in total are enough) and carriers. The carriers are supposed to collect materials lying around and put them into your sale storage. However these robots are the main source of frustration of this game, they are incredibly inefficient, even when you up their carrying capacity they will often just carry one material. This seems to stem from a logic where the bots "mark" one material to pick up and this material is reserved for them, and only after they pick it up, find more of the same material nearby. This seems to lead to to 10 bots reserving 1 material to pick up in an area instead of one picking up all ten and massively slows down your potential for growth. I hope the developers can fix the logic these bots work on. Another downside is that everything is super cramped, you rarely have actual space to build some fun logistics and every machine feels huge and annoying to place in the cramped areas. Other than that performance was flawless.Show moreShow less
I would not recommend this game in its current state. Its a mining automation game mixed with an idler. Everything is hurry up and wait. Every time you set down new equipment not just a new type you have to wait to upgrade it. Get to the last type of ore and its the cheapest so it makes no sense to progress if the loot value goes down. I feel this game was rushed. I have 13 hours mainly to finish it out since I started.Show moreShow less
Love the game. Slow at the start but helps my craving for mining and smelting 😂Show moreShow less
The game is incomplete and too simple, and still a bit buggy. It is very over-priced for what you get. I have uninstalled it from my system, and I feel I was conned. This was a cash-grab.Show moreShow less
