The game is definitely fun however I can't recommend it in the current state mainly due to the dev's decisions/designs. They currently treat global players like 2nd class citizens compared to CN server: 1) Dream tokens are earned on account level up instead of match completion. Every level up we get 300 dream tokens which the exp to level scales as you level. Unlocking characters require 3600 tokens so you would need to level up 12 times. On top of that, the devs decided to implement a weekly soft and hard cap on exp gain (one you hit a certain threshold, exp gained gets reduced by 25/50% and then later 100%. During the beta, we were actually able to earn dream tokens every match but they decided to revert it when nobody even complained about it. Even funnier is that they forgot to change the tooltip about dream tokens on release because it still says we can earn them every match lol (they patched it few days ago). 2) Store pricing doesn't make sense. First of all, the currency being used sometimes doesn't match which region you are from like getting USD in Asia. Also the lack of regional pricing is quite brutal for people who don't earn USD/EUR as we just get the direct conversion into your local currency. For a lot of countries, their currency doesn't have the same purchasing power as USD/EUR and it can cost them a lot of money relative to the cost of living. To guarantee a lgendary character and weapon skin, you need a total of 160 pulls which is roughly ~180 USD (unless you are lucky, oh the joys of gambling). That is a crazy price tag for a skin which you will then potentially need to spend more pulls on to get a separate currency (basestring) to unlock their advanced and customization options. Lastly, CN server has a first time x2 bonus top up while Global doesn't. Talk about 2nd class citizen. 3) Lack of f2p Basestring (f2p currency for cosmetics) sources. In CN server, players can earn basestring via ranking up while global gets nothing. This is also a huge problem because legendary skins require a lot of basestring to unlock the customization options. It feels extremely bad because you already spent maybe close to 160 pulls to get both character and the weapon but you need to spend another 1.8k/2k per customization option you want. The f2p epic skins cost ~1.2k basestring as well. 4) Lack of game modes in rank. Currently only demolition mode exists for ranked and escort is locked to the standard queue. 5) Really terrible source of earnable premium currency. Instead of being able to purchase skins straight up, we need to gacha our way to them (160 pulls for both weapon and character). Only way currently is to level up every 5 times to get 1 pull! That will take ages to guarantee 1 banner. It doesn't help that new skins have limited time to get them. 6) If you buy the base battlepass, you only have 3 days to buy the advanced battlepass before it gets locked out forever.... ??? Who the hell came up with this? Can you not make FOMO strategy any more obvious? 7) Inconsistent ping/server. Even though I have selected the best server (up to 10ms), they still somehow throw me into other random servers so I end up with maybe 100-200ms. Like what's the point of server selection if my choice doesn't even matter.Show moreShow less
Ignore my gametime, I have 100+ hours in the Playtest Steam reviews used to be a legitimate way to gauge whether a game is worth playing or not, not anymore in recent years I've noticed. This is a fun game, nothing groundbreaking and the mechanics can be a bit odd to get used to, and some of them, in my opinion, need some further tweaking(the Sprint speed button is currently useless, since paper mode already makes no noise, so there is no need for you to use the walk button, when you can just use paper mode) All things considered though, it's a great time and deserves better than "Mixed" review score Many negative reviews are either completely nonsensical, I've seen one about the "spawns being random", brother, you are playing the tutorial mode, "Team Arena" is just there to get you used to the gunplay, its not the real mode of the game, "Demolition" is the real game mode the game is balanced around. The only legitimate complaint I've noticed is about the Region Lock, but if these people took a moment out of their time, they'd have seen that within hours of release, the devs have already responded to the feedback about Region Lock and are currently looking into it. If it will get fixed or not remains to be seen, but they're clearly listening.Show moreShow less
Paid actual money to create a guild for my friends and I. After a few weeks of inactivity someone else got promoted to leader and kicked me from the guild. Why the hell can someone take what I paid for like that?Show moreShow less
The negative reviews on this games shouldn't stray you from a really fun experience. I understand where the critism about region lock is coming from, but this game doesn't deserve negatives that don't make sense. If you love hero shooters, you'll feel right at home here. It blends a lot of new with the old. Please give this one a try <3Show moreShow less
Locked servers with no ability to change unlike the closed beta. Wanna play with your friends in other regions in the year 2024? Not with Strinova!Show moreShow less

CN server is treated better than global server, on global you need credits to unlock new characters is only earned on level ups but in CN you earn it through any matches and also levelling up. This game not meant for global its global just for the sake of having the name tag global and then gets shafted.Show moreShow less
A game with a region lock that we can enjoy in the west with out a bunch of cheaters from the normal cheating regions.. What a time to be alive. Super fun so far!!! Oh and BoobaShow moreShow less
The game in the beta was one of the most enjoyable games you could play with your friends. Sadly this company tried to pull out a Valorant and region lock their already small community making it impossible to play with your friends.Show moreShow less
