Superflight is amazing for what it is. It captures the feel of "falling with style" quite well and the maps are usually great and not buggy. However there is one annoying problem that other games like this one also suffer from. A problem that will mostly effect casual players that pay $3 and expect just a relaxing, distracting game. After you become half decent (about 5 minutes of play will get you there), the game becomes waaay too long. For a casual and relaxing game to have "runs", the runs need to be short (10 minutes tops). However you can really just go on and on forever. There is no real change in difficulty and the only challenge comes from how daring and greedy you get with combos. That means unless you like to constantly crash into things every minute, the game becomes way too easy and boring. It's a problem worth not recommending over because games like Superflight need to be short, sweet and relaxing. Not long, boring and repetitive. It really is unfortunate that I feel the need to make this review since I would have expected other reviews to mention this problem. But nope, it's all praise and regurgitating the game's steam description -_- I realise that writing a negative review on a game with an Overwhelmingly Positive rating is probably futile, but just in case someone reads this it might be worth it. EDIT: seeing how the dev's are actually responding to some reviews, I guess all I could recommend is something to spice up the gameplay and difficulty (preferably optional). Like for example some maps give more points but are windier or have lesser/greater gravity. Another idea is if some of the maps generated could have goals of some kind (outside of points). Like say you could try to figure out how to get to the center and when you do you teleport with a permanent x1.5 multiplier. Off the top of my head the only other idea I have is seeing a ghost of yourself from a previous run fly with you. It could be cool since if you use the same routes enough it might look like you are a flock of birds or something. It wouldn't make the game more difficult but it would add another element to the replayability. I honestly can't really think of a good solution since anything too crazy could be asking too much for a game that is so cheap and only developed by a few people.Show moreShow less

This is supposed to be a "positive negative review". The game was fun for an hour but for me not more than that. This game is also definitely what it promises to be and I really really hope they make their next game based on this, but I couldn't help getting bored after a while. I just need more and I don't blame the game for it. When they come back with their next title where you have the added bonuses of (for example): - Flying with friends - Epic music (or any music) - Wildlife - Quests - Bad guys trying to shoot you down I will come screaming. And I'm happy that I tested it, because it's a nice flying simulator. And I'm even sorry that I'm giving it a negative review, because it's a nice innocent little game. And you may like it so don't hesitate to try it out for this cheap.Show moreShow less
THANK YOU! This is something I always dreamed about. Its perfect. I hope you add: AIRBRAKES! (just like in just cause 3 with the Bavarium Wingsuit!) Free movement of the body (Maybe holding down a trigger and being able to move the body freely around every axis, kinda like the way to control cars in rocket league) First person view Cooperative modes Alternative boost/jetpack Moddable Possibility to create bigger maps EDIT: The ability to SLOW DOWN TIME for short periods of time (super useful for when you find yourself in tight situations!)Show moreShow less
Hey I Paid 50p for it so it doesn't really matter, but not much of a game at all and can only think the positivity is because of the price. Two things that are essential to improve it and then you would have something worth playing: 1) Write an algorithm that guarantees no dead ends. That really killed the enjoyment for me and made me not want to experiment with the paths I was taking. Every path should have a way out or there's no point. If you want a big score it's better to play it safe and just fly close to the outer edges of very structure, and that's incredibly boring. 2) Have the levels continuous. They are basically a structure that you fly through in two seconds, then a fade out and then the next one, so you never really feel very immersed. Watch the video, and you'll see they are never in the same environment for more than a few seconds because after that there is the harsh transition that occurs between each one. Sneaky editing:-)Show moreShow less
I bought Superflight to play it in-between other games. Now I play other games in-between Superflight.Show moreShow less
Superflight is a great idea for a game and not a great game. The infinite number of "maps" you can play in are very, very tiny. There's no flying out to an infinite horizon full of new geometry. You run into invisible walls if you try and go too far in any direction other than down. It loads a new "map" if you go downward long enough. And you're gliding, not flying. There's no boost, no brake, no turn-sharpening mechanics, and really very little control over the player character. Your momentum is always being reduced by some unseen force and all the while you're punished both for slowing down and speeding up. And if you touch any of the geometry your character will explode and the "map" will reset. It's about as relaxing as Super Meat Boy (not the least bit relaxing) but not nearly as well balanced. Futility is baked into every aspect of Superflight. Fun isn't. Luckily its price is also cheap.Show moreShow less

It's pretty boring, and hard to control. I can see how it might be fun if you were playing with a friend or something, maybe competing to see who can get the most points. But playing alone, it's quite boring. I also wish the maps were infinite instead of you "blacking out." Infinite maps would make this much more enjoyable.Show moreShow less
