Sadly a case of rushed full release, removing planned stuff like alternate bosses and more. Could respect it while it was in early access, but then releasing 1.0 with almost nothing new makes this a not recommend.Show moreShow less
It's absolutely a Hades knock-off. Does that stop it from being fun as hell? Not at all. Great game.Show moreShow less
I reluctantly have to tell people to wait on this game. It's a fantastic Hades-clone with co-op. In fact its almost everything you'd probably want in Hades co-op. Already having 4 classes, each with 4 unique weapons and skills is a great start to an early access game. That being said the game is plagued with a save wiping corruption issue. If your game crashes at any point there is a good chance its going to corrupt the save, to which the game thinks restarting from a brand new clean slate character is the solution. The real kicker? When you close that client, steam cloud will override any possibility of recovering your old progress by writing over the previous save with your brand new fresh character. So unless you had the forethought to disable steam cloud saves before exiting the client, which most people wont. Your save will be gone. This game has a possibly great future ahead of it and maybe I started playing at a uniquely bad time for the developers with this bug existing but I recommend holding off until the game fully launches to avoid this.Show moreShow less
Dont listen to the people who call it a hades clone, this one has classes, more weapons, totally different setting, character customization etcShow moreShow less
This game is meant to be played co-op, but co-op isn't fun when the multiplayer networking randomly can drop and, most importantly, they did not bother to implement any way to rejoin a match. Think you are having a good run with some friends? Nope, a player lost connection and can't rejoin. The networking issues could be ignored if they literally just implemented a rejoin system. Until they resolve the networking / rejoin game stuff, I can't recommend a "1-4 player co-op" game as it isn't the experience you will get.Show moreShow less

This game was fun for about 10 hours. Not worth the money at this point but could be in the future. If you want this style just go play Hades. If your first big patch after launch is nerfs across the board for everything fun in the game, i automatically lose complete faith in the dev team. These games are not competitive, there is no world first race, no professional scene. They're supposed to be FUN. Player power. OP Builds. Insane runs where you get unkillable buff combos. If all you're doing is nerfing anything that could possibly feel strong your game will suck. Flat out. I haven't done the hardest difficulty yet, but i've beat the first three or so and you just dont get to the point that you do with other roguelikes where you're like "damn i'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong right now". It's more of a.... i mean i can kill things i guess. Last thing, there are TOO MANY RESOURCE ROOMS early. Like, i have everything unlocked for every character. Gives me abilities dont give me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gems i can't use. They need to give you more actual modifiers early and stop giving you so many resources. Maybe a different way to earn them so they dont get in the way of your actual run. It feels SO BAD to have everything unlocked and getting no abilities.Show moreShow less
Okay, so, let's talk about this game. My hours logged in this particular build might be modest, but trust me, I've practically lived in this game's world through closed betas, playtests, open betas, Steam Next Fest demos – you name it, I've been there. So, seeing some folks dismiss it as just a co-op Hades/Hades II feels like a medieval slap in the face. Sure, the House of Hades might have whispered some inspiration in its ear, but this game has its own story to tell, its own rhythm, its own thing. And that "thing" is Arthurian legend, but with a delightfully twisted spin. As a massive Arthurian mythology nerd, I'm all in on this reimagining. It gives the whole questing and slaying and dying (it's a roguelike, after all) a real sense of purpose. The gameplay? Chef's kiss. I'm hooked, line, and Excalibur, and I can't wait to see what the 1.0 release brings. So, here's the breakdown: If you've ever thought, "Hades is great, but I wish I could share the pain with a friend," then this game is your holy grail. If you're a roguelike aficionado craving a fresh challenge, consider your quest fulfilled. New to roguelikes and curious what all the fuss is about? This is a fantastic place to start your (many) glorious deaths. And finally, if you're like me, obsessed with all things Arthurian, and you haven't already added this to your library... well, what are you waiting for? The Round Table needs you!Show moreShow less
This game lacks the ability to join after being disconnected. Had the best run I've ever had to be soured by a random disconnect. This truly has put a sour taste in my mouth. Genuinely ruined my night. UPDATE: Day 2, I've figured out some more information. It has decided it ONLY wants to disconnect me when I have fun. God forbid I have a good run, get the F*** outta here. But don't worry, if I'm having a bad run it'll work perfect to extend my suffering. What a joke.Show moreShow less
