First things first, this is mainly a negative review because the 99% positive rating is absurd. Yes, it's a good game but that level of circlejerking is unreal. Try to see past the nostalgia please. The game still has problems that need to be mentioned. Remakes: While the remakes do look way WAY better, they're worse off in the sound part of things. Since this is a paid product now a lot of soundbytes and references to other products have been replaced with worse knockoff versions. Stealing the Diamond suffers the worst from this as that game had tons of references to other media. The "YEEEEEAH" sunglasses joke from CSI Miami being changed to a generic laughtrack was the worst of it but those kinds of problems are kind of everywhere. On top of that (in my opinion) a lot of the music tracks are worse than they were in the original games. The worst case of this is the old Infiltrating the Airship menu theme. Which also ditched the changing scenery of the original's menu for (I assume) cohesion with the other menus but it loses a lot of its character because of it, ItA was my favourite game of the original run. (Speaking of ItA, it also lost its Earthbound and Final Fantasy battle references which take away a LOT from those moments) Completing the Mission: Now, on top of being really well made, CtM avoids the problems I mentioned that the remakes suffer from by being made for a paid release from the start. But, while I understand why they did so, the shorter format accounting for each possible ending combination from the previous games ends up resulting in a lot of repetition. While some paths are amazing (though debatably kept back a bit by being much shorter than the other games on their own) some of the others end up being very samey. The paths that are just about robbing the train are the worst in that regard. Depending on the order you play, you can start high and end VERY low like I did, especially if you play it all in one go. And while this is a much more personal issue than an objective one, I think the bio system hurts the game more than it helps. Instead of paying attention to the cutscenes you end up constantly scanning the screen for new characters to right click. And over the entire game you end up having to do this HUNDREDS of times. Some characters only appear for a few frames in the back ground after (what feels like) minutes long cutscenes and some scenes have MASSIVE crowds of characters that only appear in that scene forcing you to replay that scene SOOO MANY TIMES. (If you've collected all the bios one specific scene should have come to mind from CtM) Anyway, I don't think anyone will properly read this and I'll just get hordes of trolls spamming me for daring to give this game a negative review. I just don't like people following trends without thinking. Oh also some of the memes people made are really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad.Show moreShow less
Call Charles for help. Game crashes. It only happened once and honestly, I'm not even mad.Show moreShow less
Its a good game, dont get me wrong, but far too overpriced for how long it is. Ive seen much longer games with much more replayability, for much cheaper. I dont advise getting it as youll get the same experience on youtube, for completely free rather than paying. I saw another person mention how it doesnt feel new at all other than the graphics change + mission, and I 100% agree. There have been far too little changes in the past missions, and its one of the largest flaws of this game. I would not be complaining if there were going to be new missions added in the future, but there will not be.Show moreShow less
Obviously y’all know the generic story, we all played this in 2008 on our family computers and horrid WiFi. This game was fun and is still fun a decade later. Laughed as much as I did when I was 7, and I thank you guys for it. You made my childhood great. Henry Stickmin is one badass stickman.Show moreShow less
