Update: (I still hold these opinions and after 10 hours the game is still great!) I have seen plenty of reviews that the game has issues and personally I havent ran into any of them and it runs just fine so this will have some Bias. I think the game does exactly as advertised in the trailer and anything extra is optional and if you enjoy games similar such as Genshin Impact you will probably enjoy this especially if you are a SDS/7DS fan. Its an alright game, lots of complaints about them "censoring" tioreh by putting shorts on her but shes 11 years old, why are people complaining that they cant see a childs underwear? other than that, game does have optimization issues but the game just released itll take time and i hope they do fix it. The combat is fun enough to want to play more, few mechanics are a bit clunky but nothing that ruins the game, gacha is alright would love more pulls tho im not too far in so. overall enjoyable and look forward to playing moreShow moreShow less

This game only has 2 things going for it. 1) The 7 Deadly Sins IP 2) It's a fresh Gacha so it has the new game appeal. There are many other Gachas out there that play much better both in terms of world exploration and combat. The devs did give out a decent starter pack to fresh accounts for draws, but the sad reality is that it still isn't enough in terms of account progression. Not to mention that the abundant draws you get are for the standard banner and not the seasonal one. For some perspective, the first world level-up you can achieve in the game is at level 15 (For non-Gacha players, it's standard in Gacha games that leveling up your world ASAP is crucial for better boss rewards which are time-gated). At this point in the game, if you have been entirely F2P, your characters might be around power level 1500ish. The first trial to level up your world requires about 5000 power level to progress. I managed to clear it with ~3500 power level but it required heavy investment of resources into a character I didn't much care for since my pulls were only average luck. It is abundantly clear that the devs very much designed this game to revolve around people investing at least $50-60 to pull on the Meliodas banner in order to get an S tier character to progress the game with. Otherwise you'll be struggling your way through the game. Even if it's not a "challenging" type of struggle, you'll still find yourself in a slog by fighting enemies with high HP pools compared to your damage output. Also, most of the characters just flat-out feel awful to play. Often times you'll be locked into animations with no way of canceling them unless you whale for the high damage, fast moving SSR picks. Additionally, I've already encountered many bugs in a meager 8 hours of gameplay. Massive Character Desync even when I have <20 ping. Characters clipping into walls while attacking or traversing terrain. Suddenly not being able to swap characters at all. Mounts stop working, etc. Thankfully you can log out and in to fix most of these issues but it still doesn't change the fact that the rest of this game is a heap of mediocrity. I picked this game up just for a few days of fun before Crimson Desert comes out and I'm partially glad to see that is still the plan. It's a decent game if you like the 7 Deadly sins universe. But personally, I wouldn't give this company any money considering that there are much better gachas out there.Show moreShow less

Updating the review after putting more thought and time into the game. The good: - Co-op is better compared to many similar gacha games, especially if you have that special someone to play with. - The game’s art style makes the world feel very similar to the anime and is visually pleasing to me (on the highest graphics), but it does have some very iffy textures in places, so don’t look too closely. - There is a lot to do to pass the time, at least based on my pretty limited playtime so far—for example, taming pets and mounts or fishing. The bad: - I’m certainly not that far in, but the story so far isn’t grabbing me at all. - Movement and combat feel clunky to me in certain aspects compared to similarly styled gacha games. It’s not a deal breaker per se, but it bothers me enough that I often wish they had spent more time polishing it. - The game has a lot of free pulls based on the images they’ve shown, but you’re really going to be scraping them together for a long time. For a game launch, it feels like a desert. - Lack of EN voice acting. While I personally never use English voices in any gacha or anime, there are many who want it. - Censorship—yes, I am still keeping this in. Netmarble did censor Tioreh at the last minute, and while it’s understandable, they do have a track record of censoring female characters regardless of age, like Merlin, Derieri, and Melascula in their earlier games. Just something to keep in mind if censorship bothers you. While I can’t give this game my recommendation and don’t see myself playing it for long, it is a free-to-play game, so if you have the time, try it yourself. Also, Netmarble has a bit of a reputation in the gacha sphere for greedy monetization and heavy power creep, so I would suggest practicing patience and seeing how they handle this game before spending.Show moreShow less

Not one player with more than an hour in the game talking ass about it, so i had to check. common complains; Bugs in loading screen. -checked around nothing to see, simple menu and ui. game doesn't start or connect to servers. -Checked, got connected in a sec no probs no stutters no loading that blocks, smooth entry ooh its just a copy of genshin -yes it is and seems you didn't like that one so this one is also not for you. for people who like the style of game. perfect for you. got an oke pc runs smooth on all settings, don't know what some of you guys think you have as a pc but its def not nasa like. seems like a bunch of toddlers. Until the total daily key limit is increased to at least 150 and the platinum economy is fixed this game will remain fundamentally negative in its progression design. It’s honestly shocking that after so many gacha games have come and gone, the developers seem to have learned absolutely nothing from them. Right now, the entire game revolves around RNG. That would be fine if players could actually farm. But you can’t farm when you’re hard‑capped at 50 keys per day, the very resource required to claim rewards from dungeons and bosses. Abyss Dungeon: 20 keys per run Result: You get two runs per day. That’s it. The game is aggressively time‑gated. And then there’s platinum. You need it for everything: Outfit engravings cost 25 platinum ingots, yet you can only earn 12 per day. SSR weapons require 16 platinum plus key‑gated materials. Hero‑specific SSR weapons? 30–40 platinum plus more materials. Mastery nodes? Some materials are daily‑limited, others require keys. Node IV alone can’t even be completed with the full 50‑key daily cap. The ratios make no sense. None. They even removed mastery drops from world mobs, as if that was some groundbreaking improvement. They added a “reset magic gauge” mechanic that just resets your ult when entering a dungeon—pointless and boring. They removed the fast mount jump “for mobile performance,” and since that patch the world looks worse: objects pop in and out, bushes appear and disappear two steps away, and the rendering feels broken. And then there’s co‑op. How are players supposed to enjoy co‑op when the entire game is locked behind a 50‑key daily limit? It’s unreasonable. The monetisation doesn’t help . Skins? Minimum 60£. If you don’t pay, you hit a wall fast. And for anyone saying “just buy key bundles,” that argument doesn’t deserve a polite response. The list goes on. The game is fun ,until you finish the early content, and what is left is upgrading heroes and farm, eventually you will run out of the one‑time rewards. After that, the real grind begins, and it’s not the satisfying kind. It’s slow, restrictive, and punishing. If you think this is a game where you’ll be spamming dungeons, farming gear, and smashing bosses, it isn’t. It’s a Platinum Simulator with a few extra materials sprinkled in.Show moreShow less

I had a few paragraphs on my review that I would update with each patch. However after the latest one I thought what's the point. This is the most unfriendly F2P game out at the moment. I could write many paragraphs about what I like and dislike but the devs don't improve. They just keep adding so much unfriendly F2P content with each patch with the latest one being raids. If it was a couple euro every month or so fair enough to support the game but if you are a new player starting off, you will need to spend hundreds of euro to do any of the end game content.
