Spending time with friends and family matters as much as mastering painting or gaining knowledge. Steam PC reviews show 85% positive from 31,127 reviews. "Hey kids! We have a FABULOUS game! Want to play it?" "Okey dokey, Mr. EA!" "well here is an eighth of it!" "but... I want the whole game!" "That'll be 410 dollars."Show moreShow less

Too much DLC.Show moreShow less
If you are going to own a Sims game it should be Sims 3. Not every DLC is necessary. Only essential DLC I would say is Seasons for the weather, ensuring that something happens every week, adding flavour for what would be a bland city experiencing the same conditions everyday. I've been able to play this game for so long because of my love for Sims. I've bought DLC here and there over the years when they are on sale and I play it completely before my next purchase. When I start a family I play for generations and imagine the family's story as it changes through time. As a stand alone game Sims 3 is good. But if I were to play it without any DLCs now I might get a little bored with the lack of hairstyles, clothes, hobbies, locations, traits.Show moreShow less
No discounts on DLCs. For a game launched in 2009! Shame on you EA!Show moreShow less
had baby, decided he was inferior. locked him in a closet and replaced the door with a wall. Child Services is still looking for him as we speak. 11/10 reminds me of my childhoodShow moreShow less
I absolutely love this game and I've wasted way too many hours playing it, but why does the DLC have to be SO expensive? Especially when considering that the next generation of the game has already been released. I understand offering additional content for a little extra, but The Sims 3 takes this way too far. Either make the expansions cheaper or offer more in each one, because they aren't worth $20 as they are now.Show moreShow less
- Built a house with no doors - Let some people inside - Closed up the walls - Lit the house on fire - Listened to the screams of the burning innocent people Then I went home and played the Sims 3, it was ok I guessShow moreShow less
Overpriced DLCs for a game that's over 8 years old. How very typical of you, EA.Show moreShow less
