A cozy little desktop distraction. You collect animals and creatures, unlock weird variants like ghosts, zombies and rainbow corgis, and occasionally clean up their poop. That’s pretty much it. Gameplay is semi-idle—perfect for having in the background while pretending to work. No story, just vibes. Music’s chill, everything runs smooth, and unlocking all the creatures was oddly satisfying. No bugs, no stress, no regrets. 8/10 – Would babysit pixel animals again.Show moreShow less
Listing it as an idler, but punishing you for being idle is a very strange choice. If you leave for too long, everyone gets sick, and you're honestly better off selling all your cute friends and replacing them with fresh, healthy friends. I wanted to care for my little pets like buddies, but the game punishes you for doing that.Show moreShow less
Only for the most hardcore gamers. If dark souls and escape from tarkov had a baby, this baby would not be hardcore enough to sit at the table with Tiny Pasture.Show moreShow less
It pains me to thumbs down this game. I'm not sure if I'm dumb, or if the page is actually misleading. I got this to have a cute simulation of some cute animals on the bottom of my screen, to eventually unlock more and maybe some decorations. The first tag on this game is Idler, and maybe I'm too stupid to know what an Idler is as it's not a genre I go for, but I thought I could leave an idle game idle. NO. Not at all. I booted this up, absolutely loved the cute bunnies hopping around, and I imagined if I keep them fed they will make me coins, and maybe less coins if I didn't get around to feeding them. I raved about how cute it was to my friend, sending them screenshots cause I was so delighted with the graphics and animations. I didn't realize there is a PUNISHMENT if you don't watch them like a newborn human child. I don't feel like the page description accurately tells you this. I left it running, went about some stuff in my day, came back to a screen full of poop and all my animals sick. I couldn't afford medicine, and the only option to heal them is to get them well fed and a clean pasture and they will very, very slowly start to heal. Too slowly, all the while you need to feed and clean or they won't heal. They also make no coins during this time. I left it on intending to return after an hour to clean and feed and hopefully see some improvement in health, but once again I have a life and it was left on too long and now I'm back to poops and 0% health. Time to uninstall. $5 down the drain. I believe you can unlock items that will automate this for you down the line, but I have no desire to grind out hours to that point. It's SO cute, but this is not at all what I was looking for. If the devs add a setting toggle for a "fun" experience, ie. no poop, no sickness, no starving etc. just a fun thing you can leave running without maintenance, then I will be back to enjoying cute animals on my screen. I downloaded this to add some joy, not to give myself another stress :\Show moreShow less
It's more like a cute interactive desktop decoration than a game. Nice animals walk along the bottom of the screen while I'm working or doing something else on my PC. It can be used simply as a pleasant decoration after completing all the goals. Though I would like it more if it were possible to make the "pasture" look like a piece of wild nature, without human-made elements. Most of all, a cleaning facility could be represented by a scarabaeus dung beetle, and a breeding den could be a cave in rock, just as different skins. Owls, leopard cats or lynxes would be nice additions if there will be any expansion. All adult deer having antlers feels too inaccurate for me. 8/10.Show moreShow less
Unlike rusty's, there's seemingly no real goal and unlocking other animals isn't rewarding. it's missing that chemical x that makes me want to play it.Show moreShow less
Have it open on your 2nd monitor, put on a Stardew Valley desktop background, put the music on low, go about your day on your computer, play a shooter game, a horror game, watch your anime and shows then switch to it occasionally and lift up that red panda. Life can be calm.Show moreShow less
Animals get sick if you just leave them alone while working (if you run the game to let them gather coins and hide the window so you can focus); the medicine has a 30-60 sec cooldown, and only heals a small portion of their health stat. Not worth it if you have 4 or more animals already. Unnecessary and stressful for a desktop game that's meant to be chill. I'd refund if I could.Show moreShow less
it's cute... Not much to it, nice to have little critters on the bottom of your screen to play with from time to time. Gets kind of boring quickly ~ not something you can let sit overnight/long periods without management, all your animals will get sick. (once you have all the buildings maxed, it seems ok to leave them running without touching it) It really needs to warn you that breeding gets rid of the animals you select. :( I lost my two favorite animals because I didn't know it deleted them for the baby. "after that the animal parents leave the pasture for some quality time together" does NOT get the point across that "breeding" gets rid of the parents permanently. It should be called merging, not breeding. When you unlock multiple pastures -- only the pasture on your screen is active. There is no passive time/income for all other pastures. So if you're waiting for cubs to grow in one pasture you have to sit and watch the paint dry, the timer is paused when you switch to a different pasture. which also means no passive gold income. You also have to move all of your buildings between the pastures, you cannot have multiple. I guess the extra pastures are just meant more as extra storage space. Edit : I've have the game crash multiple times when transferring animals to different pastures.Show moreShow less
What was marketed to me as an easy going shimeji-like game to let run in the background and do it's own thing ended up being a full distraction from my work and day to day. Sure it's cute to have a bunch of little animals and soft pixel backgrounds at the bottom of your screen, but the constant movement and animal pooping is highly distracting. If you want to make any amount of progress, you have to actively engage with the game to make more money so you can breed more for more colors/higher grades and more things aaaand it ends up being the least relaxing experience (Also I was very sad when the parents would leave). If you like and enjoy micromanaging, great! If you value your time, /don't do it/. I got too into it and found myself getting stressed because I wanted all the colors, all the animals, etc.Show moreShow less
