I'll be honest: I mostly just bought this to signal to Heluo (and any publishers involved) that there is an English-language audience out here that desperately wants to play their games. It's important to reward good behavior. That being said, the game itself is alright. It's Slay the Spire with a Heluo-brand martial arts story and some very nice art/animations to string things along. And when I say it's Slay the Spire, I REALLY mean that it's Slay the Spire. You have three classes and two of them are almost 1:1, card-for-card duplicates of Ironclad and Silent. There is no analogue to the Defect, and instead the third character is a tank called the "Venerable." By coincidence it's also by far the worst-designed of the three classes and mostly isn't viable unless you get lucky with few of its top tier cards. If you've played Ho Tu Lo Shu, the story is cute and gives you epilogues for many characters from that game, as well as a satisfying conclusion to Little Shrimp's almost-30-year journey through wuxia time and space. Speaking of Ho Tu Lo Shu, despite the fact I've beaten it three times and put nearly 300 hours into it, it still deserves a proper English release. And if the upcoming Gu Long game isn't promptly translated into English I'm going to buy a plane ticket to Taipei and throw a screaming crying tantrum in front of your offices until I get arrested.Show moreShow less
