Way too chaotic. Brings nothing new to the table except some mindless shooting in every direction. Essentially you can just spin around occasionally dodging incoming bullets. Bad game.Show moreShow less

Not very fan of this new variation, from my personal opinion Ubermosh Santicide was better.Show moreShow less
Four years of hard work and improvement... Walter Machado presents us this time almost perfectly polished ~2 hours of pure slaughtermosh pleasure. Battles will take place on New Ultakaar forever, and we are let to witness them broadcasted through the infinity of space one more time, the last one.Show moreShow less
I had put off UBERMOSH:OMEGA for a long time since I wasn’t a fan of its predecessor or the direction it took. Omega is, in many ways, a refined version of U:7—but despite the added features, I couldn't enjoy it any more. The builds don’t bring any real strategic depth or replay value; instead the roster felt more limited, as the characters played too similarly due to shared skills. Even the frenetic combat felt tamer. Within 1–2 hours I had all the characters at Omega rank—except Wook, who vexed me a lot. Took me a couple more hours until I got there. I just didn’t enjoy the ride. Maybe I’ve reached the point where I’ve seen it all. Don’t get me wrong—this is by no means a bad entry, but I can see I can see why it marked the end of the Ubermosh series. For fans it's a no-brainer on sale, but I just can’t recommend it to the general audience. I got far more enjoyment out of Walter’s spiritual successors. Bloodsaint is fun.Show moreShow less
I've been playing on and off the Ubermosh series for quite some time and I gotta say it's perfect in one thing only it ever tried to achieve - fighting hundreds of enemies with guns, bullet reflecting blades, ridiculous powers and one hit kills. I'm not 100% convinced that average player can start the adventure with Ubermosh: Omega though. Here's the deal breaker - whole Ubermosh saga is iteration of the same idea, but with each new iteration you'll see a major upgrade and small minor differences. The first Ubermosh game gives you control over one blade saint with 3 skills to choose from - only guns, only swords or sword and a gun, drops you in the small area and lets you have fun with killing infinite amount of enemies, till 90 seconds have passed or all of your lives are gone. Now 7 games later you STILL kill infinite amount of enemies through 90 seconds, BUT you have now 6 classes, each one with two additional skills to pick up from 8 available, leveling system and at least 5 times bigger bodycount. You can have a gun mage that can hold up (or rather levitate) to 4 shotguns at once. You can get an eldrich abomination with tentacles attacking enemies every 2 seconds. You can have a kenshi that attacks with her swords so fast you'll deflect all incoming bullets back to the enemies. When talking about enemies, most of them here are just typical cannon fodder with different guns to kill, but occasionally you'll fight a shielded guy with biggest gun and special attacks that cannot be deflected. What I'm trying to say is that the change between first and the last installment is a little too big for a newcomer, as new player will be most likely lost with new options and savage hordes would kill him in less than 5 seconds. There is a way to survive a little even if you're new with a skill that gives you a shield or a bucker, but I still think that difficulty is too high for a new guy. And that's why I recommend checking out first game, where difficulty is high but not extreme, plenty of enemies but with lower aggro and without the most powerful and annoying classes. I recommend to buy whole pack of Ubermosh games and discovering what has been changed, addded, modified. I recommend getting this installment if you're ready for pure chaos of battle with crazy amount of enemies to kill, bullets to avoid and a lot of fun with experimenting which class and modifiers work for you the best. Now there are some things that are debatable, like the most obvious one - simple game loop. There's nothing else to do than surviving 90 seconds on the arena. When you die, you respawn immediately with maybe a second of invulnerability. When you run out of lives you'll be thrown back to the character select screen. It's fast, no transitions, short message that there are no respawns left and g'bye. There's no story, unless you treat lore as a story. There is also a very specific electronic music with bass guitar. Make no mistake, all of these things work perfectly in my eyes. Heavy music makes your blood pumping, with short time after game over you can jump right back immediately without unnecessary transitions, and dying isn't a deal breaker in these conditions, when you have to survive only 90 seconds anyway. There's one problem though - the main theme, Gunclub, isn't the music track that plays in the menu. In prevoius installments you'd get this track everytime you've lost, and it has a badass start, that just makes you wanna try all over again. New menu track is a little dampened in that regard. Finally there are no cards to collect here. There are cards in the first Ubermosh game though. I can recommend this game for a quick, fast-paced arcade adrenaline nuts. You can get the whole saga during this sale with great discount so I'd totally recommend to take it. If you're not 100% sure that this is what you're looking for, you might just wanna check the first game - it's super cheap and you'll get your money back with cards anyway.Show moreShow less
Its an okay arcade twin shooter. Straight into the gind. Fast resets. As someone who appreciates simple fast arcade gamplay, this is it. But, the soundtrack is f*ckn awful. I got the set because I read the soundtrack and fast arcade style gameplay is what makes these games stand out, but holy f*ck the ST is annoying. I can't imagine it being better across the other volumes. Its that reason alone (which is half the reason I got this set) I'm giving a thumbs down. I'll stay play from time to time but that soundtrack is turned off and I'll put on Hair Cuts for Men or Micoblank as BGM. Adds a whole different vibe.Show moreShow less
