I can't wait for Jake Paul to be added to this game so i can whoop his ass! edit: Time to make this a reality Dec 12th.Show moreShow less
Expecting people who supported the game throughout early access to pay extra for content that was advertised in the beginning is genuinely scummy and greedy behaviour. Game had potential, but it is miles away from feeling like a polished game. The career mode was exceptionally low effort, not worth the waitShow moreShow less

To start with, I'm just a casual player. I used to watch some boxing matches back in the day, but I don't really follow boxing as much as I used to. However, I've been playing boxing and MMA games since I was a kid, so my review is based on my experience with those games. Before getting into the pros and cons, I want to mention that I've had this game since the early access release, I've experienced every update, and I've always supported Steel City on their social media platforms since the very beginning. PROS: - The amount of boxers (missing some big ones, but for early access it's alright). - The walking movements in the ring are generally smooth, although they can sometimes feel stiff and awkward. - The graphic area of the game is pretty good in my opinion. - Multiple camera angles to play. - They "recently" added career mode although its not too deep. - Each of the coaches in career mode are better at training certain skill sets, so depending if you're an inside boxer or outside you might check what coach you want for you. - Character creator is pretty in deep, especially the face editor and being able to select a stance, block and style from a wide variety of options, however they could improve the editor for the rest of the body as well as adding more clothes/tattoos options, facial hair, hairstyles, etc... - Big updates (they used to upload big updates every month or two, but they haven't updated the game since February). CONS: - Punches feel weird, slow and without power (Especially uppercuts). - Game basically forces you to only use and spam jabs and hooks. - Power punches are basically useless, take too much time to charge and don't do that much damage. - AI feels like damage sponges, you can hit them constantly for many round they don't go down, and when they do after taking a lot of damage for many rounds they quickly get back up. - Career mode lets you learn different traits depending on your trainer, but if you hire another trainer you lose all the traits you previously learned (where is the sense in that)... - Career mode should let you import your own entrance and victory song from your pc or something. - Career mode should have minigames for the trainings of your character, like sparring, punching a heavy bag, jumping rope, etc... - Career mode should have press releases or something for your big upcoming matches and maybe some video teasers showcasing both fighters to hype up the fight as well as maybe some optional dialogues to either provoke the other fighter and earn hype for the fight or be nice to him to earn his respect (depending on your opponent's personality he might provoke you even if you're nice to him). - Career mode should have promotional deals once you boxer starts to get certain attention. - Winning a title or a tournament in career mode doesn't feel like winning a title or a tournament, just feels like you won another match. We need commentators going crazy, cutscences, our character with the belt celebrating along its team in the ring, etc... *Honestly, I've only highlighted a few aspects that could be improved, especially in career mode because the mode has enormous potential, but it needs some attention because right now it feels quite repetitive and boring.* *I can't comment on the online mode because I don't play it. I used to, but with the long wait times for matches and the lag, I eventually gave up on it altogether.* This review isn't meant to criticise Undisputed or Steel City; in fact, I really appreciate the potential of this game and have supported it from the start. I'm writing this to share my thoughts, along with those of other players, on how the game can improve. I understand that Undisputed is in early access, which means there's still a lot of development ahead. I just hope they are focusing on the aspects that we, the Undisputed community, are asking for. Currently, I can't endorse this game to players. However, once I notice improvements in Undisputed's gameplay, and it becomes more engaging and less repetitive, resembling a "proper" boxing game, I will certainly revise my review.Show moreShow less
I am a 50 year old father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father for my son who is now 14 years old. My son has recently started playing Undisputed In less than a week, he has already played more than 20 hours. It was terrible for me, because it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son. because he was always with his friends or watching YouTube videos. So I decided to create a Steam account to play with my son. I started playing but it was my first time playing a video game since the 90s so I was pretty lost. I asked my son for help and we spent several hours together playing this game. I liked it as it was the best time I have had with my son since my wife died. Playing video games reminded me that there is fun in everything and it brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside of the house.Show moreShow less
Devs haven't gotten a damn thing right since release. doesn't feel like SIMULATION boxing AT ALL. feels like a pillow fight with brain dead judges and a ghost referee who only makes an appearance when someone gets dropped. still no career mode, still tons of cheaters and still massive holes in the realism department of this game. *UPDATE* 350 hrs later and the game has only gotten worse. uninstalling, ive had enough.Show moreShow less

They broke the game. Simple as that. Higher difficulty career isn't harder, you just simply negate my stats and make the opponent resistant to everything. Playing career mode now feels dumb, I can have 100% stat in hooks/hand power/power punching - land 200 haymakers on a nobody and because I'm on a higher difficulty my punches barely even cut the guy. However he lands one decent haymaker at 86 stat hooks and I'm instantly cut / swelled. If I drop the guy even if he's gassed he's automatically up at least 4 times. Why implement stats on my character if they don't matter anyways? If I took the time to max my power punches, hooks, power in both hands I'd expect whoever I'm against to feel it. Simply being on a higher difficulty should not negate all my stats.Show moreShow less
Game is great but I wish they would add - Mike Tyson - Floyd Mayweather - Manny Pacquiao - Buster Douglas - George Foreman - Wladimir Klitschko - Lennox Lewis - Evander Holyfield - Donovan Ruddock - Axel SchulzShow moreShow less
I really want to like this game. Like most of you I've been waiting for a Fight Night style boxing game on PC for a long time and I grabbed this as soon as the early access became available. I've played every update, patiently waiting for career mode to drop to make any sort of final decision on this game. Well, career mode is here now, and I had the last 2 days off and played about 10 hours of it and I can tell you honestly that it is ass, and therefore the game is ass. For some reason now every loading screen takes 10 times longer than it did before the update. I'm not even talking about loading into fights, like, you go from one menu to another menu and there is a loading screen. Wtf? Career mode essentially boils down to loading 3 or 4 different menu screens (lol) and then doing a quick fight with your character, then repeat. You only gain stats during fight camps, so the goal is to spend as much time in fight camps as possible but even the fight camps are just another menu screen, with loading times. I could forgive a lot of this if the mode was fun or immersive, but it's not. You get like 4 choices for hair and they all look like ♥♥♥♥. No physics for hair or your shorts. 1 offbrand boot for every fighter. Everyone looks like an idiot who copped their boxing gear in the walmart sports department and got the same cut from the same lady at supercuts. Why the ♥♥♥♥ do I need 50 different sliders for each part of my ear lobe but get 3 bad choices for shorts and 4 bad choices for hair. It just doesn't make any sense. More importantly, the game doesn't scale down to low stat fighters correctly. You're going to be at around 50 for just about every stat when you start, which means you are completely gassed after throwing a 3 punch combo in the first round, which comes out impossibly slow anyway, and most fights will last around 2-3 rounds with both you and your opponent going down and getting up back and forth 2 or 3 times each. It's not boxing. Idk wtf it is but it's not boxing it's nothing like boxing and this mode is trash. Your opponents will be the same so it's not like this makes the game harder it just makes it LESS FUN. Career mode is essentially asking you if you can win fights in slow motion, and your only reward for doing so is to sit through 4 different loading screens for 4 different menu pages, and then do it again. Like I said, I've played this game for a year now. You can see that in my hours played. This current version of the game is the most low quality, low budget that the game has ever felt to me. In their effort to release something real and substantial it's become really obvious that this is just not a good game. Everything is sub par. The character creator is trash, the career mode is trash, and after 1 year of updates playing quick fight with a real boxer for a couple of minutes is still the best way to play the game. I don't know if I expected too much of the career mode, that's possible, but in any case this career mode wouldn't be impressive for a game that came out in 2014, nevermind 2024. I love boxing, I love boxing games, so I'll probably keep playing this for no other reason than lack of options, but you have been properly warned: This is a dollar store Fight Night. That's what you are getting here. An altogether worse experience than 10 year old boxing titles. The closer they get to final release the more it falls apart at the seams. They still only have 1 knockdown sequence. Every single knockdown reverts to the exact same count cutscene. It's all just so mediocre.Show moreShow less
