I understand it's an early access game, but asside from lackluster content: Why are you trying to copy first game? Why?? It goes EXACT same path as first Wreckfest - same cars, same tracks, hell even same UI in some parts. Why not step up higher like Flatout 2 did, and introduce different mechanics, different setting... different game?? Flatout 1 was about banger and derby racing, Wreckfest simply reimagined first game Flatout 2 expanded things massively: derby class, street racing class, sport racing class. Where all of it in Wreckfest 2? it just feels like we’re getting the exact same content all over again. Yes, physics and sounds are much better, but those can’t justify what feels like a sloppy clone of the first game.Show moreShow less
DISCLAIMER This is a chance for wreckers to drive an early (!) version of the game. For anybody who is expecting a fully-fledged, perfectly optimized game with several modes, dozens of tracks and vehicles, as well as an extensive career mode, please consider buying once we are releasing the 1.0 version of the game.Show moreShow less
1 year after release and still no career, progression, tuning, upgrades, or anything other than multiplayer races. Multiplayer servers need to be hosted by paying $$$$. Cash grab in several waysShow moreShow less
I love it, all the Negative reviews seem to focus on lack of content, I remember playing the first game in early access and it had 1 track but the final product ended up being awesome and this early release is way better than that, the physics , graphics and game-play are all improved, some people have no patience and want the game to be loaded with content from the outset for £20 quid, Let Bugbear do their thing, they know how to make the best Demolition derby style games, frickin loved Flatout 1 and 2, Oh and the wreckfest community was one of the best, If you don't like early access hold your horses and pay more for the 1.0 release in a year or two whilst I rack up killer lap times and skills.Show moreShow less
Don't buy if you actually want to have a decent Wreckfest experience. Most of the content really isn't there its just base functionality. There's no goal in this second game either, no points, upgrades, or even vehicle tuning the only thing u can really do is multiplayer races. Multiplayer is half full of "clean racing" servers where you cant actually hit people or they'll get into their emotions over it, and have their moderator buddies ban you. Overall just not a fun game compared to the first. Moderated chat on most servers too like this is kiddie land XDShow moreShow less
written day 1 early access lol its better than wreckfest 1 technologically this game is SUUUUPER early access, its got about an hour of content if you reeaaaaaallly stretch it. some fail to realize this "game" is out a whole year before the actual release, it kind of goes to show how quickly and simultaneously slowly (non-indie) game dev is lmao. i can def sympathize with people saying theres probably too little content to even warrant paying 24 dollars (at least the release discount takes off six dollars... to ease the pain a bit?) for what is literally nothing. but i see it as paying 24 dollars for the promise of a full 60 dollar game, and based off of wreckfest 1, there will be a lot of game. if anything, we get to vote on what we want from the game, which i find it really fun! that is if i ever pay attention enough to participate lmao. here is my main suggestion from wreckfest 1 that i really want in wreckfest 2: SPLITSCREEN MULTIPLAYER, PLEAAAAASE DUDE i cant even fathom the amount of hours i would happily dump into this game if i could play it with friends locally. i know not many games nowadays prioritize that, but i personally do lol. so devs, if you see this, please consider adding splitscreen multiplayer. please and thank you.Show moreShow less
They still have the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ multiplayer system. The game looks good but I can’t wrap my head around why they would bring back the only thing that is killing wreckfest 1Show moreShow less
The game is just a demo version, there is absolutely no content, the graphics are beautiful, the physics are gorgeous, but you have to wait for the full release, there is nothing to do for now. I bought it to support the developer.Show moreShow less
Cannot recommend it in it's current state. Let me be clear there is nothing wrong with the gameplay, in fact it's very fun. But there's 0 progression. Only a few servers that are ran by what appear to be reddit mods that rule the servers with a limp fist. It's taking forever for these updates and they barely add anything each time. Once they add a campaign, achievements, voice chat, and figure out a matchmaking system that doesn't involve server ownership. It will be worth it.Show moreShow less
