I think the best strenght of this game is the Reaper's appearance. But beside that, I feel confident saying that the character is nothing new. The customization aspect of the MC draws you in, but falls short pretty fast: it's clearly only a treat - although a welcomed one. The game itself is an experience I wouldn't regret, considering it took around 3 hours to finish the first "route". But some other endings are, in my opinion, too difficult to achieve without a guide, since they require to make specific responses at very specific times. I also found the skip function difficult to maneuver, since it either skips the entirety of the dialogue, or only the Reaper's responses, but given that it's a very tight conversation, it basically saves no time whatsoever. But the worst thing for me were the MC's responses: often too similar, with no indications of whether a choice was important to switch the ending or not. Finallly, it's clearly an incomplete story, that will continue with a DLC. So, a shallow, incomplete experience, fine for a free-to-play visual novel, but not worth the hype, imo.Mostra di piùMostra meno

honestly i really enjoyed playing it both without and with the beyond the bet dlc, probably one of my favourite visual novels ever because it was also one of my first ones. The character design and the artwork is good and aesthetically pleasing, I like the mc customization freedom and i loooove that you can customize your bedroom and have a pet. I know it may seem like a small insignificant detail but i really really liked it. also, the dialogue choices are great and i really like casper as a character and how he acts, you can see the creator put much work in this and really i wanna see more and more of it. can't wait for adwd 2!!!!!Mostra di piùMostra meno
